China Lily

I love this perfume oil, it's so soft, feminine, and refreshing. It's perfect and non-offensive for office-wear, subtle but very long-lasting. Despite it being a cheap thrill, it's a frequently complimented scent, strangers in the grocery store approach me asking what I'm wearing. I like to mix it with China Rain for a great combo and put it in unscented lotion or add a drop to bath water.

Get this China Lily oil from “Perfectly Scentsable.” Perfectly Scentsable I believe used to be Remedy. It is similar to body time “China Rain” oil but it is more aquatic and less rose dominant. If you can think back real far into the 90s, suave made a gorgeous lotion scented “Ocean Breeze.” China Lily oil has that “ocean breeze” lotion vibe. If you are into oil the other place I get this “china” type oils from is “Beyond Scents.” I like having various “China” oils on hand. (Rain, China Rain, China Lily, China Musk, Muguet—- I always have those on hand.) I wear them over generic drugstore “Jergen’s” lotions or suave “cherry blossom” or “aloe Vera” lotions. A small dab on my inner elbows, backs of my knees is all I need and it last through the day AND night. Rain tends to garner the most compliments but they all have the same “lotion” everyday nice “clean girl” Dove bar soap vibe. Inoffensive and can be worn to job interviews, office work, church, just chill. Is it for a special occasion? I don’t get that vibe necessarily but if you are the type of person who wouldn’t wear a sophisticated fragrance regardless of the event, this is a basic soap and water type impression. Be minimal with the application because if you overdo it, it will be a screeching beast and ruin the experience.
