It's...please pardon my honesty here... Did someone plant violets in a cat box? This is an odd one at first with a bit of gross cat poop (not the usual pee complaint I see on the boards, but half-buried poop) and an opening that smells a bit like violet leaves (at least to my nose). Violet leaves that remind me a bit of Daisy? I'll assume this is the heliotrope. Maybe the sample is turned, maybe it's me, who knows but nooo thank you to this one. The drydown was a little less frightening, but not very strong or exciting. A bit of amber (well, something is sweet), a dab of oakmoss, musk, a faint hint of patchouli. Rose?

Well, there is not much going on here. It's not an awful fragrance, but there in nothing unique either.Upon the first spray it smells very promising and potent, but after 5 minutes it is just a very soft and warm fragrance, reminds me of a musky-ambery drydown of some powerhouse classic perfume. You never know with these forgotten very inexpensive fragrances....some of them are real treasures that can easily compete with expensive perfumes. In this case, I think it's a miss....for me at least. Maybe I will wear it around the house occasionaly for some warmth and comfort.

Can't do this one ....its has the same scratchy feel as L'elue and makes my throat and nose parched. It's going back where it came from.
