The thing that doomed this perfume is that bottle. It's an eyesore. Had this been released in the same bottle as Shalis, it may have been in more popular. It betrays how versatile it is. Clean floral sweet white musk but not outright candy levels like Shalis does. 10+ hours of performance, explosive on the first 2 but leaves a trail. Depending on how my skin reacts that day, the drydown is either heavy on vanilla or woody but the florals didn't go away

Magnificent juicy floral peach scent with a hint of sweet end. This is genuinely the most realistic and rich peach floral scent I have ever sniffed. Has a harsh opening but with a beautiful and smooth dry down ever. Has a very strong sillage and longitivity. Came in through a wrong delivery from an Amazon order. Kept it. Comfortable yet slightly vintage scent profile. This is what i would want my mother/ grandmother to smell like all day.

I just found a bottle of this at my local thrift store....still in the tin container but missing about a third of the juice. I can tell right off the bat that it's turned a bit. It has this strange sweet/musty/sour smell that old perfumes often get ( you smell it a LOT in Mary Kay perfumes when they get old) That being said, I can still smell the phantom of the true scent drifting around beneath the funk. I'm gonna let this bottle sit in the dark for a few weeks too and then try again...I don't know why but sometimes that helps perfumes to get back..if even just a bit...to the original, intended smell. The nice part that I do smell is very much, Chypre-esque...in my opinion anyway. No oakmoss in the description but I feel it's there a bit. It's golden and fruity with underlying woody/earthy/mossy tones. Very "perfumey" and reminds me ever-so-slightly of Dalimix Black. I am actually doing a side by side comparison right now because I wanted to see if they really did smell alike and Remy for Women actually does resemble Dalimix Black...just a bit, but has a powdery (baby powder) blanket overlay. Less herbal and crisp than the strange, witchy Dalimix Black brew! You know....I'm getting a kind of Lolita Lempicka vibe right now! Again, not sure it's fair for me to go too much into my opinion if, in fact, my bottle has actually turned. It's hard to tell for sure as I have never smelled this one before today. As I type, I'm beginning to get a little repulsed by Remy for Women....especially now that I smell my lovely DM Black on the other hand. Maybe I shouldn't have sprayed them both! Whatever....it was just a few dollars and I will file it away into my fragrance "library"! If I try it again and it smells differently, I will submit an updated review.
