Behique

Behique is again a little dissapointment from this House. And not because of the smell, the quality or the performance (all that is alright since i would give an 8) but because all the hype and the reviews i have read before. Behique is suposed to be one of the strongest perfumes in the market with one if the biggesr projections and, although the projection i not bad, this is simply not true... Behique is overall a Green perfume, fresh & spicy. But at the same time It is intense with a very noticeable tobacco from the begining to the end. The rum and the spices are very noticeable tío and also a Woody and very pleasant background. As i have said before the perfume is very nice and It is evident the quality of the ingredients usted here. But as i have also said the performance is just a bit better than average. It has a good longevity, as the extrait the perfume It is, but the sillage is just moderate, even at the opening. So the perfume is really nicer than i expected (because i have read lot ofnteviews where people said that the perfume is too strong and unweateable and this is not the reality) but weaker than It is suposed to be. So, for me, It doesnt worth paying more than 200€ for 50ml since there are similar perfumes with the same sillage for half price. I would like to try now the rest of the renier perfumes, the rain line, with more affordable prices because maybe one could be really good. Gorgeous woody green aromatic scent! I have tested this in high heat and it is amazing. This is not off putting or skanky, it is masculine and dry. There is no funk to the smell whatsoever, or at least I am not getting any, to me this is just nice and charming! The price is kind of high for a brand that is not in the name recognition bracket, but I personally will probably get a bottle, as I enjoy it allot and because it is not copying anything. I've heard comparisons to black afgano and they are way way off, it has nothing to do with and more to do with it and more to do with old style woody aromatics of the past imo.

If you know who you are this is for you , its a bit sharp for 45 minutes and then it turns to sexy manly scent . A great experience .

48 hrs and 2 showers later .. finally got the sent of my skin . Excelent performance on my skin. Somewhat in the same boat as Laudanum Nero from TT , Black afgano , Anubis Kiss .. but I prefere this instead of all the others mentioned. Seems just a tiny bit more wearable

It's very similar to black afgano, but more wearable. The first opening is very harsh, but when it dries, I don't get tired of smelling my skin. I only bought a tester but I want to buy it. It can be used more outside and at a special event, not in the office. 10/9

Phoow this is aggressively spicy green, sharp sour herbals and citrus on the opening. Like someone juiced some cannabis leaves with grapefruit rind and a miscellaneous herbs. Invigorating yet slightly nauseating to me. I have yet to find a perfume that captures the pleasant aspects of cannabis in an accurate way, it’s always the green grassy characteristics without any of the pleasant fruity, sweet resinous or skunky nuances. Saying this is a more wearable Black Afgano is a little misleading, this is much more zingy and fresh, BA is darker and more incense cannabis. The only similarity is the cannabis inspiration.

This is witchcraft! Among the herbs and potions of the exiled Circe, who lives on her own island, this muddy green flask transforms the drinker into a Laophis snake, which injects its venom into its prey and then strangles it to death 🐍🪴

Oh look! A cannabis fragrance! Never seen before... Independently of the non-uniqueness, the price point is just laughable given the unconvincing final result. Many new cash-grabbing perfume houses popping out lately. The niche market is in full expansion, so it's no surprise. Don't feed the sharks!

I bought a travel spray of Behique directly from Renier, something I would really recommend if you're interested in the scent. Very nice people! And also because you probably shouldn't blind buy this one. My fellow reviewer Emorandeira found Behique somewhat lacking in the performance department. Perhaps that's for the best, because if Behique was any stronger planes would be grounded if any passengers borded wearing more than one spray of this extrait. "A scent for a man who dominates the secrets of nature" I'd change that to: "A scent for a man who dominates board meetings" Green, woody and musky, notably tart and pungent. Nothing sweet about it. High quality, needless to say. Smells like old money. 100% masculine office scent, but only for those who have their own corner office. On a personal note: My shirt, which came in contact of a very moderate application a week ago, still smells of Behique after being thoroughly aired and washed. I guess it's a Renier shirt now.

Although I thought it was a mess when sprayed on a blotter, Behique develops nicely on skin. It’s very green, citrusy, woody, and a somewhat masculine. After the ever so slightly spiced opening, the cannabis and tobacco leaf accord, the patchouli, cis-3-hexenol, vetiver, cashmeran, and something limey-floral provide its bold greenness. Eventually, this green character tones down gradually and the soft musky woods come through, along with the woodier facets of vetiver and cashmeran. Not my kind of fragrance. Quite cloying, but I can see some people falling in love with it because it’s modern, different, hip, mass appealing, well blended, and there’s skilful creativity behind it.

hmmm, zero sharpness, zero sweetness, and intoxicating. This is an absolutely beautiful fragrance. Medicinal, maybe something you'd smell out in nature. It really doesn't smell so much like a perfume. This fragrance takes you to a place where you want to be locked up in for a couple of hours and just smell this. If I had the funds I'd lock myself in a white room with the temperature set to 50 degrees and have a misting machine just spray this out every couple of minutes. Medicinal, but intoxicating. Strong fragrance. Spray this on before you go to sleep, and you'll sleep like a baby. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ -This fragrance will knock you out, and put you to sleep.

Behique starts with a spicy spicy green opening and follows with an infusion of cannabis in the rum accompanied by tobacco making its smoky opening. Anise and amber trim the edges of the perfume but without making it too sweet, balancing and rounding off the fragrance. From the middle to the drying of the perfume it acquires a boozy earthy green herbal woody smoky aspect due to the presence of patchouli, vetiver, tobacco and precious woods. Very original perfume: woody, smoky, aromatic, spicy, green, alcoholic, earthy, closed and dense; a whirlwind of sensations with Excellent Performance!
