De Lirius

First of all i must say that i like this fragance. It is a delicate fruity & Green floral very weareable and versatile. But after having tried It i must say also that i am a bit dissapointed. I had seen Manu reviews on internet and in YouTube where Well known specialist in fragance reviews talked about the lasting power and the strong sillage of de lirius: "one of the strongest perfumes ive tried" - used to say one - "a real beast" "the perfume with the highst projection i have ever tried" - said another one... So i had very Big expectations with this perfume! So i bought a sample (i was thinking even of buying a full bottle based on the critics) and i put It on my wrinkles this morning and... Nothing! Is It a nice perfume? Yes! Do i like It? Of course! Would i buy a full bottle or a bigger decanter? Maybe... But this is not what most reviews describe! I have other floral perfumes stronger, like for example carnal flower by Frederic Malle, which in adition are even cheaper. The perfume smells like flowers, Green leafes, tropical fruits... It is like the smell of a tropical jingle (or how i can imagine It should smell). The performance is not bad... Good longevity (i have been about 8 hours with It now and i can still feel It) but the projection is just average. This is suposed to be a extrait de parfum but if It said It is an edp i would relieve It because It is not as dense and intense as other extraits i have tried. I find the perfume unisex, very versatile and better for daily use. Scent: 8 Longevity: 8 Sillage: 7 Quality/price: 5 Versatility: 8 Originality: 7 Global: 8

What a wonderful fragrance. I had tried it very randomly and had never paid the attention to it because I emphasized in the darker ones (which are generally my favorites) like Behique and Cacique. De Lirius is a beautiful tribute by Renier to Cuba before it was discovered by Cristobal Colón, a virgin land, untouchable, only by the Taino habitants, full of fields of humid lands, tropical climate, and abundant vegetation, the fragrance opens with green notes inseparably tied to the ginger lily the national flower of Cuba or "Mariposa" as it is known in the archipelago, accompanied by the intoxicating aroma of soursop, a fruit with a cottony and sweet mass with a very intense and very perfumed smell, the guava leaves contribute their astringent part to offset the sweetness and accentuate the green part of the fragrance that can be described as a fruity white floral but perfectly unisex thanks to the notes of vetiver, wet earth and the woods of cedar, guaiac and mahogany, It feels a touch of amber and in its drydown after hours the use of "nañe"(ginger root) from the ginger lily plant is evident, which gives it a powdery and slightly spicy touch. If you don't know the Renier perfume house, this is one of the best options to start with, even more so if you don't like ouds and animal notes that make up almost the 60% DNA and backbone of their fragrances, it is unisex although some feel it drawing on the feminine, in my opinion it has a perfect balance, congratulations to Renier for imagining this beautiful work and to Juan Perez (whose work I don't know) for making it a reality.

Blind buy based on the listed notes and description provided on the Renier website. I am sort of indifferent on the purchase as a whole though. Initial spray I got tons of honeysuckle, lily, and green notes. I thought it was very nice, and it got super positive feedback from others at my place of work (both men and women). It has settled into something very pleasant and inoffensive. To call it a fruity/floral is spot on. You can definitely smell the sweetness of the fruit. I will wear this again and again. It is perfect for a spring or summer day. For my taste, I think this may be too light to wear in colder weather.. After wearing this several times now, I actually really really like this. Its got a fruity melon opening which is just different and so refreshing. Only drawback...it is very expensive Overall: 8.5/10

Got a sample,and i must say i really like it...original-yes,although not superunique,but uniqe enough to stand out from todays mainstream creations.Very green,fruity,with some exotic green touch.Reminds me of ELDO-you or someone like you,which is incredible refreshing summer mint frangrance.I don’t know if there’s any mint here,but i got that crushed mint leaves,which probably resembelance exotic plant in this perfume.It’s refreshing,green,invigurating and uplifting.I will make update review,upon a full day wearing.But first impression is very promising.One thing bothers me,and that is pretty high price tag,and i don’t know if it’s worth it,although it’s a pretty damn good scent,and at this point of a journey,I extremly appreciate original perfums.

Our personal chemistry will decide what a perfume smells like on an individual, on me this is heaven! I get the green of the guava and it's green leaves (not mint), the soursop- a white milky and creamy slightly sweet heaven right along the white soft billowy ginger lily held by a beautiful earthy (geosmin) background. The smell of the tropics. Juan Perez was born in Puerto Rico, and this fragrance is exactly how I remember Puerto Rico; it truly took me back to the island of my childhood. Absolutely Love! Projection is really good, sillage is just as good :) I'll have to update on longevity.

This one is a masterpiece. It is tropical, green, flowery - very unisex. It is like being in paradise. It is bright and happy but in the same time very calming. Projection is really good. Definitely longlasting. SO Beautiful. I have ordered my sample from Renier webside and will be getting the bottle of this. I would also like to point out that I have had the greatest customer experience ever from them. THANK YOU RENIER.

Utterly gorgeous! Tropical fruit and foliage are done to perfection. I agree with the reviewers below. There's a touch of sweetness here that is tempered by sourness. The scent is tropical and woodsy, with guava as the main protagonist, and is caressingly floral. This composition is truly impressive. It smells and feels so natural! Moreover, it lasts!

This scent is a stunner , definitely bottle worthy . Congratulations to the brand and Renier himself for his idea , awaiting for more.

Awesome fragrance. The honeyed white floral is supported, deepened, and made a little more fun / tropical by the fruit note. Then the green notes keep the overall effect feeling natural and a little fresh. They keep the scent grounded. The ingredients are high quality and feel pretty unique. The scent notes isn’t something I’ve really smelled in other fragrances. In fact a search by notes returned only 6 other fragrances with the use of guava and honeysuckle. This is definitely a unisex fragrance but is maybe the best representative you can buy in this scent category (floral / tropical etc). It’s about as well done as a fragrance can be. However, part of its strength is its uniqueness but probably also its drawback. A small knock perhaps to it’s crowd appeal? Perhaps only if you’re hoping for a designer type frag... Another huge plus is Renier himself. Super nice guy with fantastic customer service. All in all this is probably one of the best niche perfumes to come out in a while.

Fresh elegant white florals and light tropical fruits. The most interesting thing to me is the realistic rendition of soursop, which I have never smelled before and works here. It’s most realistic for the brief moments after spraying and I wish it stuck around longer, but might just be the nature of those molecules. There are a lot of clean musks in here too which is less interesting. Definitely tropical and fresh, and would be lovely to wear in the heat but not sure if it will last as more than an intimate bubble.

I had such high expectations and unfortunately did not deliver. To start it felt too sickening, I am not sure if it was the honeysuckle but was giving me a feeling of insecticide. Then eventually it melted in my skin and what was there was quite beautiful but to be honest did not make me go wow! I feel it is a high price for the notes. I have decided in my life only to get things I love... and this may be a like but definitely not a love.

It’s actually quite a unique fragrance—I genuinely can’t compare it to anything I’ve tried before. That said, I didn’t find it particularly wearable. I think people looking for something completely different and unconventional for summer will absolutely love it. It’s slightly green, slightly fruity, slightly tropical, and slightly floral—overall, a very unusual scent.

I really wanted to like this because the bottle is my favorite color and I love guanabana and the idea of it as a note was really cool. However, something about De Lirius stings my nose and it reminds me of aromatherapy lotion. The smell it eventually melts into is nice but it's performance is really impressive so it took overnight to get to that smell. The sprayer on the sample is one of the best I've seen so if you're interested still try it

This is the weirdest perfume Renier has ever offered. It’s a mix that somehow doesn’t work for my nose. It’s just too sweet, syrupy and green. Screechy. Please do not blind buy this stuff.

Probably the most interesting of this house. That said at $155 for 50ml, it is NOT full bottle worthy for me. Much more interesting stuff at that price point.

such an interesting sour-green and simultaneously white floral, somewhere between vegetable and fruity. the magnolia-guava duo is very prominent and fun. smells natural yet exotic, but not tropical, its not a beachy nor jungle/rainforest scent. this is very fueguia-floral like, in the same direction id say. or if you can imagine zoologists' Dodo but with a heavy guava sourness to it? something like that. DeLirius is extremely fun to observe and to listen to off skin. its smells....I guess cute?? but no one will ever guess its a 200$ niche... objectively it smells of a strong fruity shampoo.. surprisingly for Renier, the staying power on this one is foreverish. I wish their oud rain would last that long on my skin!

Beautiful fragrance, but too close to smelling like an air freshener. I picked the notes right off the bat. White floral, green, and some type of exotic fruit, and a bit powdery. This is one of those fragrances that you will say "Wow", but never reach for. ⭐-Smells incredible, but reminds me of an air freshener.
