Vanille Diabolique

A very uplifting and luxurious vanilla fragrance! For all the vanilla lovers out there! Opening: You feel the strong and translucent vanilla enveloped in a slight alcoholic aroma, rum comes to mind. Vanilla in here is a little dusty, gives an impression of Bourbon vanilla in desserts! Heart: Here comes the Cuba Libre cocktail reference. Coca Cola vibes is strong with this one. Ultra refreshing and posh feel. If you love Rum, Coca Cola and Vanilla, this is the scent for you! A gourmand that can fit in line even with a non-gourmand lovers' taste! Base: In the deep dry down you get vanilla, very prominent and rich, corresponding with cinnamon that gives the fragrance a dry and cosy feel. It will be great for the upcoming Christmas holidays. It brings out festive memories. In the end alongside the vanilla, you get warm sandalwood and beautiful amber notes. The wearing experience is opulent, spicy and very, very sexy. It will fit great on a man, as well as a woman. Longevity and sillage are wonderful. 8-10 hours easy as it is an extract it definitely acts like one. Sillage is great as the scent lingers in the air around you and stays for hours in the room after you leave it! Thumbs up from me. And a strong recommendation!

I am so happy and fortunate to have come across this wonderful fragrance. It has become one of my best discoveries of 2024. For the opening, Coca-Cola as a note. Fascinating. It has that cola fizziness that invokes my childhood memories, then there's the sweet, juciness of orange, and pink pepper to add some spiciness. The middle has a lot going on, such as the complexity and smoothness of rum, the bitterness of dark chocolate, along with cinnamon for its piquant alure, and cardamom for its bittersweet prowess. Finally, we come to the base notes. There's the cozy, halcyon goodness of vanilla, the mellowness of amber, and topping it off, the rich, smoothness of sandalwood. This is truly a joyful and sensual fragrance. Longevity and projection are paramount, which becomes a skin scent afterward. Although it shines during the colder seasons, it's almost multi-seasonal (except for the summer), and it can be worn either dressed up or down. I'm going to let this macerate for a while, but I know in time that it will become more outstanding. Kudos to Mladen for creating such a phenomenal fragrance.

Easily one of my favorite vanilla releases this year! The perfume starts with authentic fizzy coca cola, boozy rum and a slice of caramelized crispy dried orange for added freshness. As the top notes gradually fade, the scent becomes a bit powdery as in cocoa powder and slightly spicy from the cinnamon. The fragrance settles down to spicy woody vanilla with just the right amount of sweetness and could be perceived as a tad feminine leaning because of it, which is subjective anyways but if you like Vanilla Diorama Dior or Vanille Divine Essential Parfums definitely give this a try. There is depth, development and layers in all stages of this scent's life which I really like. The sprayer is of top quality as well, it disperses the finest mist with one spray, longevity is above average even if sillage is on the moderate side and I can feel it on my skin lightly even after shower!

Very high quality fragrance with an excellent performance. Smells luxurious. Really well blended combination that reminds me of "cuba libre" cocktail with vanilla in it. To me it is going linear for now but thats my first test. Maybe after several wearings I will notice it developing more. Definitely unisex fragrance. Will test it on my girlfriend in the following days. The performance is also great. I sprayed two times at 7:30 in the morning and I was still able to smell it after 16:00. Projection is strong in the first 3-4 hours. Presentation is also exceptional. The boxing is elegant and reveals the fragrance slowly, making you feel even more satisfied with the purchase. Compact 50ml bottle with a metal plate, which holds the fragrance name.

Mladen is a good friend of mine and I think I was one of the first people to have a chance to wear this and test it. He did put a lot of time and thinking in this fragrance, the result is a very well balanced fragrance that would appeal to gourmand lovers who enjoy high quality fragrances with good performance, from known fragrances it is close to vanilla diorama but it is not a clone or something, there is a rum note that can also be detected here and also the coca cola and orange are quite prominent in the opening. Definitely a compliment getter fragrance, more suited for the cooler months and night wear in my opinion, great quality and great presentation, give it a try and I think you will not be disappointed.

A very well balanced, sweet Cuba Libre. After seeing this fragrance among the top 5 chocolate fragrances for the last decade in the ranking of 2023, I really wanted to try it. And so it came to a blind buy. When the package arrived, I opened it straight away and sprayed it on my hand. The top note is exactly as described. The cola and orange notes are alcoholic right at the beginning (accompanied by pink pepper). After about 1 hour, the sweetness appears and there it is: a perfectly mixed delicious Cuba Libre cocktail with chocolate and vanilla in the background. Overall a very good balanced and pleasant fragrance with top performance. Totally recommend it to the fans of cola and vanilla notes in fragrances.

Longevity is super, 20h and I still can easily smell this on my skin. First I think there is something like Naxos, honeyed vanilla, and rum, but compared side by side they are very different. Something like Enigma maybe, side by side: Enigma has little bit of cola and lot of tobacco. Hmm.. maybe Side Effect, side by side again and yes! Not the same, but they play in the same ballpark. Vanille Diabolique is a sweeter, and overall slightly more pleasant scent to me than Side Effect. VD is like: 15% Enigma (cola+tobacco) 25% Naxos (vanilla sweetness) 60% Side Effect (rum) Scent 9,7/10 Longevity 20+h Projection, not sure, I say it’s quite strong.

Festive mood in a bottle! Vanilla Diabolique is a unique take on vanilla, so magnetic and different from everything that I have tried! Citrusy opening, heart made out of cola, rum and cinnamon and powdery vanilla drydown. Perfectly blended sweet and spicy fragrance, with the right amount of boozines in it. It is best Cuba Libre that I had 😉 A compliment getter, perfectly unisex, made out of the finest ingredients. As a Bulgarian, I'm really proud and impressed by Mladen's creation and anticipate more exceptional niche perfumes by Renoir!

I just bought travel sizes of both fragrances - Vanille Diabolique and Mojito Erotique. I am based in Bulgaria so the delivery was fast - just 2 days. When it comes to the scent Vanille diabolique I was hesitant in the beggining as it was too strong, the rum note was too heavy. But in just few mins it becomes very smooth (Coca-cola note is also prominent the first 10mins) , I truly love the dry down. Smooth spicy vanilla with slight cardamon undertone. Perfect match for anyone who likes spicy, rum, vanilla scents.

I would describe it as a fresh gourmet fragrance, rather it is a bit luxurious and refined! Put a glass of coke with a slice of lemon and a little rum and when you drink it, the rest at the bottom with bubbles that burst remain a light taste of vanilla cinnamon ☺️Everything is very balanced, after 15 minutes the vanilla, cardamom and sandalwood develop but it it's very light ☺️and the icing on the cake is that my nose detects Sakura (Japanese cherry)

This is quite an uplifting fragrance. Fizzy in the beginning with the coca-cola vibe, then it transitions to this Cuba libre cocktail, a bit boozy and spicy. The dry down gets amped up with sweetness from vanilla. I love how it gradually evolves and changes as time passes. I feel it's perfectly unisex. Performance wise it falls into the great category, but I'm curious if it will improve overtime as the fragrance macerates in the bottle.

It's actually quite nice, at first I was...hmmm it's kinda Enigma-ish, but then I gave it try again, and again, and every time it gets better and better. Yes, it's Vanilla, but not a pastry one, more deeper, and the rum note is actually prominent on my skin. Performance wise it's amazing, long-lasting with really good projection. Good quality for the money!

I ordered it to Sweden from the website, shipping was 7 days and everything went perfect. Classy and luxurious fragrance made with quality ingradients for sure! I get the vanilla diorama comparison vibes and the coca cola used reminds me of the one I smell in Roja’s Elysium. Definitely worth the price. Really well blended fragrance!

This is a lovely perfume, very realistic coca cola blast, with cinnamon and Rum...dries down to a very creamy tummy vanilla. The projection and sillage is amazing. Love the bottle also.

If anyone is interested in this, Renoir offers travel sprays on their website so you can test their scents before investing in a full bottle. I’d definitely recommend this, as the scent is an acquired taste. They don’t send a tester with purchases of full bottles either (as advertised by some influencers) Renoir also don’t reply to emails, but they do reply relatively quickly on Instagram. You won’t get any email confirmation and you will also have to ask for the tracking number. This opens with a very realistic, fizzy, fun Coca-Cola which I absolutely love! It’s delicious! When I first got this I wasn’t impressed with the dry down, which lost its Coca Cola note and became quite a spicy masculine scent. I left my bottle to sit for a month and the dry down has improved greatly. It’s much more balanced than it was when it arrived. This is definitely a unisex scent, but I’m pleased to say the Coca Cola note remains throughout! Very unique! Although it does remind me a bit of Rouge Smoking by BDK, which is one of my favourites.

I have good news to all those who enjoy this perfume - just stand still, because it will get better with time. Because of its ingredients, you can expect this to turn an amber color in due time and just become stronger, better, and more refined. If you like it now, you will love it later as it macerates more. The scent itself is direct in its approach, it shouts "yeah i'm the bold, spiced vanilla fragrance you've been missing, i'm here for you" - its sweet, its alluring, it's different and it doesn't get boring. I always applaud independent and up-and-coming perfumers coming up with new stuff and their own thing, much like I adored BDK when they first started out, because if not for independents, then the big companies would just dominate everything and stop innovating and keep pushing out lackluster/disappointing perfumes. So please support the creators and I hope Renoir Parfums will bring us many more exciting scents in the coming years.

I like this one a lot. I've tried many of the different cola scents out there and this is probably my favorite, together with Severo from Jacques Zolty. That one, to me, is super fresh, while VD is cozier and leaning more toward being a gourmand. The bottle is nice; simple and minimalistic, and the cap sits on nicely. I see the resemblance with Side Effect (which I have), although this one is not as sweet and not so much in your face. Having a 100+ bottle collection, I'm nowadays more interested in finding hidden gems. I love that this is a small house from Bulgaria, and the shopping experience was excellent. This is the kind of perfumers/houses I like to support, and I'm looking forward to trying out their next release which I believe will be something for the summer.

Haven’t had too much experience yet, but at this point: Cola is very evident, but not Coca Cola, but Cola, f.ex. Fritz Cola and I am here for it! This note lifts quickly and in its place comes the vanilla, together with some boozy touches and is your partner during the day. So if you are a fan of boozy vanillas and would love some cola added to it, go for it! At least worth testing! Quite a unique smell, not very many like this!

The website currently offers -66% of the prices of both fragrances and I bought them after being influenced how amazing they are. Unfortunately, the truth is both smell cheap, synthetic, unrealistic and unpleasant. This one gives synthetic vanilla vibes, similar to Mallizia Bon Bon, and any other Lattafa parfume would be better. The price is crazy, I threw away so much money despite the discount, so do not trust any influencer out there - the company is not worth it.

Avoid this brand. They take your payment, fail to deliver your order, and provide no customer service whatsoever. Once they have your money, they stop responding to emails and messages. This is not a company I would trust, this is nothing more than a scam. Save your money and buy from a reputable brand instead.

I really enjoy this fragrance. It's a spicy cola-esque scent. It really smells like fizzy cola, mixed with some warm spice, aromatics, and this really nice authentic citrusy tang. It also has a mild booziness as well. It does beautifully in cooler weather. Has amazing projection (arms reach) and great longevity (8+ hours) And you can definitely smell the quality of the ingredients and the whole composition has an elegant sophisticated vibe. This is the image that comes to my mind when wearing Vanilla Diabolique: imagine you are sitting at a bar with a beautiful man or woman. You order their specialty drink which happens to be a shot of rum and a half a bottle of artisinal root beer poured over a scoop of handmade vanilla bean ice cream, with a orange peel twisted on the rim of the glass. You don't get too much of the vanilla in the beginning of the fragrance, but it makes an arrival at the half an hour wear mark, and gets stronger during the drydown. But this is not a vanillacentric fragrance. This is fizzy cola, warm spices, fresh aromatics, light booziness, citruses, and then a light cozy vanilla in the base. But it gives you a bar feeling. In the drydown there is also this warm cozy suedeyness that is reminiscent of the suede in Guerlain cuir beluga. That smell is reminiscent of a worn leather bar chair. And it has that sexy sensual mysterious vibe that floats around the best bars. That smoky eye of a beautiful woman, the perfumes wafting around, the mystery of not knowing what the night brings. All these things get called to mind when smelling Diabolique. It's definitely a must try and I highly recommend getting a bottle; it's a real beauty.

As you've probably guessed, this is for true gourmand lovers. What surprised me the most about this perfume is the texture and the transition in the beginning as it changed quite a lot in the first half hour. At the start my tongue could physically feel the tingle that one does from fizzy drinks' bubbles and oh boy does this one feel like bubbles in my mouth. I would also decribe it as ice cold instead of warm spicy (despite what the notes would suggest), which was quite unexpected. I guess it was intended to recreate the sensation of sipping cola (and rum) through a straw, poured in a glass full of ice and a slice of orange. The top notes did not last quite long and soon after something powdery started to surface and make its presence, usually I interpret it as very dark dusty chocolate. Of course the frangrance feels boosy overall but somehow it manages to stay light and airy, not deep and sticky. I have to admit that tho the opening was very promising, I found it a bit flat and underwhelming in the drydown after an hour or so, as it wasn't as rich and interesting of a vanilla to my nose. I can't say I event detected that much vanilla but rather a reflection of rum, cola and some spices. Longevity is actually quite good, sillage is moderate.

Be aware and do not place any orders on their website right now. I have ordered from them before and recieved my perfume about a month later. But on this order (placed in November) I did not recieve either of my perfumes. At first they were responding and promising a refund or to resend the product. I decided to be patient as my previous order took awhile and the perfume is really good and I really wanted a backup bottle so I can wear it more frequently. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, they have completely stopped responding and i still have not recieved a tracking number or replacement. At this point its probably too late for me to report the transaction, but I want everyone else to hold off on any new orders. Its extremely unfortunate bc its really one of my favorite perfumes and there is nothing quite like it. For now it will have to stay reserved for special occasions as there is really no other way to get it. Its really sad they have not pulled their website if they can no longer fulfill orders.

Cola spices, smooth vanilla and an almond paste & cherry liqueur type of fruitiness greeting the nose after about 10 minutes as well as a honeyed amber accord. The opening reminds me of a bourbon old fashioned, heavy on the angostura and with extra orange peel. Made my mouth water a bit. A mix up on a few popular formulas without being a blatant rip-off. A very pleasant perfume on the sweeter side but that works well as a daily driver, depending on your work environment. Soft sillage but long lasting on skin.

I mean I don't know what I was expecting if the notes said coca cola anyway lol, but yea I really disliked that note. Many people said it's just the opening which is why I gave it a try, but no, that note never went away and it never turned into a nice good vanilla. I decluttered it

I wish I knew what this smelled like, but unfortunately I placed an order for this perfume in early September and have yet to receive it. Customer service has summarily ghosted me, and I have neither the perfume or my money. No scent is worth this poor level of customer service.

Great scent! Offering the fizzy/sharp opening of the coca-cola, with the pink pepper and that orange..just amazing. Drying down to a lovely and cozy vanilla-rum-booze scent that welcomes those intimate moments. Great fragrance :)

I ordered this perfume on January 16 and to this day I still haven’t received it. I am from Europe, so that shouldn’t be a problem. They are not responding to my email inquiry about the shipment

From my experience with this brand, every comment that says "realistic" is a paid bot. Artificially inflated ratings by fake accounts. Beware.
