Charlie Chic

Found this last night winking at me from a shelf in Asda, it cost me a fiver.. A little gem! lovely uncomplicated, warm, spicy and round with the lightest of fruit notes - almost undetectable and very soft patchouli. Sillage is as good as most mid price fumes, longivity likewise.. This cheap little bottle is sensual and has pulling power.

At first it smells like pine and freshly (A bit sharp) cut wood on my skin. After 5-10 minutes it gets sweeter and soapy/fruity. A pleasant but syntethic smell at a very low cost. It lasts long aswell

I have the body spray and I am using it for night time bedtime. I live Australia and cannot find it. If anyone has any suggestions for something similar please reply to my review.

Oh, this is so good. The fruity, patchouli, and spices come together for a true licorice candy smell. I sprayed this and I could immediate taste Good & Plenty. I'd have to be in the right mood to wear this and I was in the mood for something a bit out there and perhaps slightly obnoxious. This hit the spot. Update: After wearing this over half the night, I have to update my review and votes. It was just so strong and linear and it seems to get stronger the longer you wear it. It's a great perfume if that is what you are going for, but I started to just find it overwhelming. I started to feel sick and have to change my shirt in the middle of the night. I do not think I can wear this anymore. The bottle was so cheap so I don't consider it a big loss. I'll likely donate the rest of my bottle to clear up room.

Randomly picked this up from Asda, it only costed me £4.50. When I got home I opened it and sprayed it, I immediately fell in love with it. It lasts long enough and it does smell a bit cheap, but perfumes that cost £10-£15 or even more then that smell way more cheaper. Nor does it just smell nice it is also very easy to pop into my handbag. So when I go to work, if my favourite fragrance starts to fade away, then i will put it on.

I find this little fragrance very similar to Jimmy Choo EDP. There are no specified fruit notes listed here, however, I smell juicy, sweet, sirupy pear and maybe apple? Strong, creamy sandalwood (instead of the caramel in Jimmy Choo) and undefined spices give it a soft oriental feel. I find Jimmy Choo edp a bit more refined and rounded but the longevity of Charlie Chic is way better on my skin. The difference in the actual fragrance is less than in their performance so I'm very pleased with Charlie Chic and let Jimmy Choo alone for now.

Adore! Before this was launched, Revlon used to have a fragrance called Divine. I still think about that fragrance and missed it so much, even wishing I could find an old bottle and try get it copied. Well fast forward to this week, I saw Charlie deodorants at the shop and tried one and voila. It’s Divine in a can. Pretty close to the original. I just love this one. I don’t know why but I do. It’s happy and easy to wear and a lot of beautiful memories - so glad to rediscover this one.

aspirina, all the charlies are probably with their "mom", original charlie, after all she gave birth to them LOL. And, you don't have to apologize for occasionally stepping out of review mode. I am looking on Amazon and so far Charlie Chic is only available from the UK. I have also noticed this for a few Avon products. What the ****?

Where are all these charlies? (please forgive me i know it is not a review but..please...i want them all..!!!)
