I'm loving the fact that Revlon makes perfumes. I never knew that until I discovered them on Fragrantica years ago. I'm a big 90's girl, I loved everything from 90s fashion to perfume to music and more. But somehow I missed this awesome creation! Fire&ice is becoming one of my new favorites... I especially love the cheap price tag :) The best way I can start describing this perfume, is that it smells eexactly like VS Amber Romance! To a T! I see perfume comparisons all the time in reviews, and I find those ccomparisons aren't always accurate. But everyone is right about the Amber Romance similarity with this one. Side by side, I can hardly tell them apart. But somehow, I like fire&ice better. It's definitely longer lasting, better projecting, and there's a definite nice hot&cold feeling whilst wearing this. It also has a prominent incense and straight Amber smell in the Dry down, where Amber Romance is more vanilla. man, it smells so good!!! I know this is cheap in price, but it does NOT smell cheap what so ever. It's very interesting. Like an icy cherry vanilla. There's actually more to it than that.. I'm smelling a bunch of things in fire&ice, but I'm not sure what. I just know it's very nice and balmy.... Comforting, sexy, sweet, unusual, habit forming lol. A winter scent for sure, but I can also imagine this working good on a hot summer night in the tropics. While this does strike me as a 90s vibed scent, it's still up to date . Women everywhere are still buying Amber Romance directly off VS shelves, so this type of scent seems to carry a modern appeal. A lot of 90s perfumes are very obviously 90s. You feel a little too loud and dated in them at times.. I.e: chopard Casmir, Organza, Rochas Tocade and alchemie, etc. I never get this feeling from fire&ice. Once I get a new bottle, I can see myself putting this on my top 10 shelf. I'll probably wear it everyday for awhile. I especially love how rich it smells dried on clothes. Very creamy and sweet. You'll end up sitting there inhaling the corners of your sweater. If you love Amber Romance, you can't go wrong. And if you're looking for a good/cheap new blind buy, I recommend ordering fire&ice. I see mainly all rave reviews on it. It's the type of perfume that most people will love and crave. Spray all you want. At 10$ a bottle, go ahead and douse yourself in it. Everyone around you will love it.

O' perfect amber where have you been all my life? After procrastinating purchase for years as the incense and tuberose notes were scaring me, I finally succumbed and will never look back. I LOVE Revlon Fire & Ice. It is The Perfect Amber I have wanted and needed forever and this blend is so well done I can detect no incense or tuberose. I adore incense-y fumes but have enough to embalm all of us so I needed some other stuff. (I'm kidding. I wanted it, but 'want' is 'need' when you're a fragrance junkie.) This is beautifully basic amber with a perfectly balanced sweet and sour (sweet orange), rich, deep, powerful, intense, warm , smells and wears high end for the price; a must-have staple perfectly as/is or for layering. This is a high quality blend that is long lasting and gratifying. Strong but not too sweet, sour, synthetic, screechy, none of that business we try to steer clear of. As for the comparisons to Cherry Vanille, I had that synthetic mess of stuff and I disagree anything like that is happening at all with Fire & Ice. Very well balanced and lovely, not too heavy on any of the notes. It is strong for the first few minutes so spray carefully. I like 'em big and rich but the cologne spray packs a wallop. It will dry down pretty but this is not one I recommend spraying liberally right before greeting people. Fire & Ice is a classic beauty in every way and The Perfect Fixer for any fragrance that may feel too cold, dry, unisex. This blend is the stabilizer that will take those fragrances up (or down) a notch should I decide at the last minute what I sprayed earlier is not sweet or warm enough for my mood. Last night, I spritzed a favorite unisex frag which started feeling a bit more dry and woodsy than I was in the mood for. A pop of this knocked the woods right into place and added the perfect touch of sweetness without clashing with my original scent one bit. This is gorgeous for a steal of a price. As all cooks need ingredients in our kitchen to tamp down and round out recipes, all perfumistas need an excellent amber to do the same for our fragrances. Here it is. Oh my goodness retro Revlon, when you got them right, you got them perfect. Get. Thissss. Ssssstuff. You 'need' it. ;) You know you do.

I decided to buy this fragrance blind based on the positive reviews here as well as the very low price. It was summer time and I added quite a few newbies to my collection. When I tried this for the first time, I was so disappointed. To me, it didn't smell like an oriental, and I couldn't pick up on any of the notes at all - not even one. I couldn't understand why so many people liked it. I decided to put it away and move on to others. The seasons changed and I suddenly remembered that I had read a lot of reviewers who said that many of their frags smell totally different on their skin depending on the season. Since it was now winter, I decided to give this one a second chance. I'm so glad I did! JACKPOT!!! I have worn it almost every day AND night since. This is OUTRAGEOUSLY good juice! When you consider the well blended notes, the good quality, the longevity, the super low price, as well as the utter DELICIOUSNESS of this scent...I have no words. This one has just been added in my mind as one of "the greats" of my collection. I am always a fan big fan of oriental frags, and to think in summer it smelled more like bug spray (on my skin at least) and then in winter it metamorphose into this elegant gem...INCREDIBLE! Outstanding spices, oh-so-rich-and-comforting base notes. On my skin it seems as though I experience all of the notes on impact of the perfume to my skin. It still gets better and better with time, but this is one of those rate frags that I can spray and go, confident that whomever I may go out with will not have to say "perfume overload"! It I had to compare the bliss of wearing this (cheap!) masterpiece, I would say it is like getting the most loving, comforting, and supporting hug from my husband. Truly legendary...I highly recommend that everyone at least try it once! Cheers!

Super Sweet '90s Vintage Amber Ablaze with Incense and Dusted with Icy Powdered Sugar... Opens with a sweet & powdery citrus-floral with some cool, faintly leather-y tones from osmanthus. This is the ice, and the effect here is like frozen icing-sugar with faint & soft marshmallow undertones. As it transitions to the heart, the floral tones expand bringing more fluffy sweetness, while warm amber and incense are swelling through. This is the fire, and the warm amber is the star of the show, lit up by incense, underpinned by soft musky woods, and dusted with a layer of icy powdered sugar. Alongside all of this, there's a vintage '90s amber-woody vibe, and I catch reminders of other '90s amber woody scents. I find this very sweet, although it isn't a sticky sweetness - more powdered sugar sweetness - and those who like super sweet scents might like this. Well into the amber base, the sweetness does settle a bit. I find something compelling in the amber base which reminds me of scents like Amarige Mariage, although this is more powdery in the top & heart notes. Performance is excellent, but the sweetness makes this best for cooler weather. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 02/06/25: Sprayed this on this afternoon. First thing I noticed was that the woody notes have really popped up in a beautiful way. Adds the illusion of a sandalwood facet of creamy, sweet woods. Love it.

So I was in Walmart and walked down the clearance isle to see what was available, and I see Fire and Ice for $3.00. I have heard great things previously about this perfume, so I quickly picked up a bottle for a try. I was not expecting it to smell as good as it does. I was expecting a VERY mature fragrance, which I tend to like, but Fire and Ice is lovely and could work for all ages really. It's a soft, cozy scent that smells almost exactly like Sensual Amber or Amber Romance from Victoria's secret (I can't remember which, it's been so long since I've been in a Victoria's secret to be honest). How much you spray on determines whether you wear this day or night I've found. I smell way more sandalwood when I overspray, but for office wear I find that it is very warm, smoky, and unoffensive. This is an amber bomb, and you will smell it thorughout the entire stages. The incense I find comes a little later, about an hour or two in. Longevity varies, I sprayed this on before bed and woke up to smelling nothing on my skin. However, I sprayed this morning before work and still about 3 hours in smell like I just sprayed it. I suggest trying it at least once, especially for the value you can't beat it.

update:i feel as though fire and ice has been reformulated because the brand new smaller bottle in walmart was way better then one i ordered from on ebay and smelled in walgreens...i returned my new bottle because if i can't have the one smelled before that was gorgeous im done looking for it most places sell this horrible only amber with much alcohol version that doesn't compare to the older version which is much sweeter and more cinnnamon like... After all these years i revisted this fragrance just to be reminded of how much i love it and had to get another bottle. It smells alot like Victoria secrets Amber Romance but with added spice..its not listed but i swear i smell cinnamon in this and with that spice added to it it makes this amber fragrance go to a whole other level..absolutely beginning to be one of my favorites.its my kind of fragrance...alittle sweet and spicy..warm and very inviting...totally makes me feel confident and happy when i wear it. And you can get it on ebay for such a low price. Just ordered it. and i can't wait to wear this again..also i think it would be great to layer other perfumes with

I don’t understand why everyone says this is a dupe for Amber Romance when Fire & Ice came out first. VS Amber Romance is the knock off of Fire & Ice 100%. F & I is the true OG. Now, I understand if you miss AR and are looking for a replacement, fine, then I suppose it is a “dupe” based on a technicality. But in reality it’s not. I just want to give this dreamy, creamy, yummy, warm, cozy beauty the credit it deserves, and for standing the test of time even when Amber Romance could not. It has even managed to mostly survive reformulation and retain its true personality over the years. Talk about reliable! After all these years, I still find it unique amongst many modern perfumes out there. And the bottle, it always looked great on my vanity. Fire and Ice was not super poplar amongst my peers when I was in junior high and high school. Maybe because it was too sultry, more mature, and might I say, even slightly gourmandish for it’s day. However, I wore it then, and even now. It always made me feel good. A cheapie but a goodie!!! And a safe blind buy for anyone looking to dive into a 90’s drugstore classic.

Wow. I had no idea this perfume would be THIS good! I've always passed it up in Wal-Mart or any other drug store and just figured it just being a loud synthetic 90's perfume...until I read all of your reviews! I never guessed a name like fire and ice would produce such a wonderful, warm fragrance. It smells like vanilla and Amber with very little fruits. Very cozy and soft to me. On me it's not loud like a lot of other reviews mentioned. It's very soft like a warm blanket. I am so glad I picked this up at Wal-Mart today. I only saw a 0.5oz bottle so I'm definitely getting a big one now! **Update: This is now my signature fragrance! I've picked up my second half ounce bottle in two weeks. I don't even want to wait for my big bottle to come in the mail. I need it NOW! I was at work last night and everyone who entered my building said "wow! Something smells amazing in here!" And I work in a nursing home so you can imagine how it usually smells. Lol I don't think I've ever been more in love with a scent! It reminds me of all things comforting. Like sitting by a fire toasting marshmallows in the fall. Yum!!

I'm a clean/soapy/musk/sharp fragrance kind of woman because I grew up in the 90s and during that era, it was all about fresh, minimalist and aquatic scents, but I've been wearing this since it came out back in 1994, and wore it to my prom in 1996 as well. It's not as strong as it was back in the day but it still smells the same and lasts as long on me. I've never liked gourmands and overly spicy/oriental fragrances much but this is one of the two exceptions I make, the other being Baroque by Yardley, sadly discontinued and too expensive for me to import from another country. To me, this smells like a creamy, luxurious, expensive incense. The amber note is very pronounced and sits close to my skin. It doesn't smell similar to anything else out there, in my opinion. I never liked the Victoria's Secret amber fragrance this is compared to, which came out afterward, actually. A decadent fragrance that really comes into its own in the fall or in the winter. I love wearing it if I know I'm going to spend an evening in front of the fireplace, drinking wine and listening to my favourite jazz.

Beautiful perfume that smells like a luxurious brand despite the affordability i.e. a drugstore perfume available at Walgreen's or CVS. Pretty little frosted glass bottle with a glass flame stopper on top. Starts off cool and bright. The citrus, apricot and peach are sweet and delicious. Not tropical. More like a fruity citrus marmalade. The amber is very noticeable. The florals are mixed up together and not one stands out more than another. Definitely osmanthus. To my nose it's prominent flower is orange flower like a yellow or orange colored blossom; possibly the orange blossom. This is an intense orange blossom, enhanced by the incense. The notes of narcissus, tuberose and magnolia are not as big but you can detect little traces of white flowers. Soft musky dry down with lots of amber. Beautiful. I would say that this is good for wearing in the fall and winter seasons. It's casual and formal so can be worn anywhere. Sweet and strong. Strong meaning it lasts a long time! All day on skin or clothes. This is a powerful perfume! If you like amber floral scents you'll love Fire and Ice.

This was my signature scent in high school in the early 2000's, when I worked in a Hallmark card store. I still associate it with the incredibly buttery-soft cream sweater I used to spritz it on, enveloping myself in spicy, woodsy warmth on cold winter days. This is an ambery, musky, complex fragrance that lingers and really gives off an appealing, enchanting heat. The orange note is a subtle one, like the spiced orange rind in a cranberry orange quickbread served for breakfast on Christmas or the day after Thankgiving. Or the dried, clove-studded oranges the victorians used to hang in their homes as air fresheners. In hindsight this fragrance was probably a bit too mature for my teenaged self, but I was trying to be older and more sophisticated and sexily professional than I actually was (I was on the debate team and wore suits as often as I could get away with), so in a way it fits. Looking to pick up another bottle of this soon because my taste in fragrances still tips toward the rich, spiced, and musky. Probably thanks to what a great impression this one made.

This is beautiful. Sweet ambery goodness! I went to Victoria secret awhile back and wanted the amber romance but bought other fragrances instead. with amber romance on my mind I looked up the notes and found this perfume to be one of the dupes of the old amber romance and with the price point I gave it a shot - boy, am I happy I did! creamy, sweet & ambery! Not a juvenile Sweetness but a grown woman type of sweetness. This is definitely the type of perfume that will get you compliments especially from men but can also be a headache inducing fragrance - I still might get the amber romance body mist and lotion since it is way lighter and not as sweet and would be perfect during the warmer months. Definitely a date night, and cooler weather kind of fragrance, not sure how this would do in the heat - have not tried it yet in that type of weather. If you love sweet, creamy and amber fragrances you’ll love this! But if you tend to get headaches from sweet perfumes and like lighter scents you might be better off with the body mist from Victoria’s Secret.

This is such a nice amber bomb, I'm so happy I gambled and blind bought it! So warm and refined smelling despite the cheap price. I love orange mixed with amber more than any other combo with orange, and this has it which was the deciding point in purchasing it. I get a mixed white floral heart, but nothing juts out, so the amber can kind of just shine. There is a bit of woodiness, but it isn't heavy. A powdery aura envelops you, and this is one that I like to spray in my bra (seriously) because something about it just seems right when coming off your chest (coziness). I think this is comforting if you feel depressed. I hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but I imagine wearing it to a fall or winter funeral and giving people hugs. The bottle is surprisingly decently constructed too. *edit* 6/17/20 I'm floored with how beautiful this is. My daughtrr hugged me and said I "smell so good!" If this isn't a perfect motherly scent I don't know what is...it's maternal warmth.

Revisiting this beauty after not wearing for a decade and entering a new era of fragrance. Fire & Ice is essential in this new world of fragrances where dupe Arabian perfumes often have harsh nose stinging base notes. I think it’s quite evident that we are in a phase of “TikTok perfumes” being at the current forefront of perfumery and they have managed to shift the preferred scent profile of the time. Fire & Ice is a nice break from what we’re smelling right now. This is such a creamy warm amber with a slight citrus undertone that manages to be warm and cozy yet fresh at the same time. It stands out immensely amongst the fragrances of the time and I love that for me or anyone else who wants to go against the grain right now. For $10 you absolutely cannot beat the price. It’s worth trying. Also it most definitely does smell like amber romance. So if that is a fragrance you enjoyed back in the day you will appreciate fire & ice for sure.

Originally I suppose I entered the wrong search parameters "And" instead of "&"...but went about my business over these weeks since finding this site. Tonight I was about to write them to ask why Fire & Ice wasn't listed here as it's been one of my favs since I was a young teen. Yet here it is after all. This scent has always been near me throughout my life. Having only found one scent (White Diamonds) that moved me as much. If there was a space on the profile for a 2nd signature scent this would be it. All my life, with all the scents I've smelled, good and bad, there has just never been anything that smelled exactly like this fragrance. It's so "something". Warm dreamy heaven, and nothing has ever made use of musk and amber with some sort of spicy citrus overtone like this scent does. I'm not sure what I would do if this scent ever became completely discontinued or unattainable...except cry.

Love! I admit, I don't like smelling this from the bottle and the initial spray is no better. It's very plastic and nauseating. However, two minutes after spraying and it's heavenly!!! I'm not kidding, as soon as it settles, it's rich, bubble gummy amber and sweet, bright tangerine. A comforting fall/winter scent that can still be worn in the heat. I also don't get any incense, and the amber is deep but not very resinous. It smells very modern for being a famous scent of the 90s. As for Amber Romance, they're very similar, but to me, Fire & Ice is so much better. A sweet friend wears Amber Romance and there's something about it that turns my stomach...sort of like the opening of F&I that never goes away. Projection is moderate-to-soft and longevity is about 6-8 hours. I am beyond happy with my purchase and can't wait to wear it in the winter. Update: I can't stop wearing this.

This surprised me. The immediate spray was alcohol but it quickly dissipated in seconds to a warm, sweet amber that was unassuming and delightful! I loved it immediately. The scent is soft and powdery on me. It dries down to a mix of amber, incense and musk, just what I adore. It's a wonderful oriental scent that I never would have expected from Revlon at a drugstore price. Its drydown is a candy-like caramel, a delicious aroma similar to toasty marshmallows over a fire. This scent I can go to sleep with because it's cozy and warm and snuggly. So very pleasant to wrap yourself with under the blankets. Fire & Ice stays close to the skin but impacts a scent warm and sensual enough to announce that the wearer is indeed a woman of substance. Not overbearing, just enough mystique to pique one's interest. Lasts for hours and develops into a more delightful scent as time goes by.

A fun cheapie! Fire & Ice starts out with a sweet, powdery (and almost peachy) tangerine. Musky floral notes soon emerge, most notably a "bubblegum" tuberose that adds a youthful touch. This sugary note is contrasted nicely by a gentle smoky amber. I generally don't gravitate towards anything labelled "smoky", but this is such a soft, approachable rendition - more of a light, sweet coil of incense as opposed to the rich char of burning wood. Despite its flowery and feminine opening, Fire & Ice dries down to the rather unisex scent of musky, woody amber and incense. It still offers occasional whiffs of bright tangerine and powdery bubblegum, but everything is so well-blended that neither note overwhelms. This is a very smooth fragrance with no rough edges. At such an affordable base price - and often discounted further still! - I recommend giving it a try.

My mum bought me a bottle of this after stealing a few sprays from hers. It immediately reminded me of the VS Amber Romance body mist I had. It's a very sweet, beautiful, cozy amber and incense with some floral notes that bloom beautifully in the colder weather. I'm really enjoying it's 90s vintage vibes during our unseasonably cold winter. One or two sprays is enough for me, especially if sprayed on clothes. I love wearing it to bed or relaxing bundled up on the couch, drinking a vanilla chai latte, or running some errands in the cold with an oversized cozy sweater on. The bottle is pretty cute too in the shape of a flame. I'm so glad Revlon still makes this and it's under $30 at most pharmacies. I bought two new plumping lip glosses from Revlon too, which claim to use "Fire & Ice" technology, and I'm absolutely in love with them. Revlon is back 🔥❤️

Oldie but GOODIE.I just got this golden juice off of Ebay for only 10 bucks and could not be happier. What a lovely smell. It smells like ICI. It has a gourmand sweet smell but not cloying on me.It smells like vanilla crème with cherries.. oranges and vanilla...its such a warm amber smell but Its so fresh and light. A lovely fragrance for Summer or Winter, day or night. The bottle is a shape of a fire flame, so cool. The scent lasts on my skin a good 4 hours and projects very well. love this perfume its awesome! Its a very sexy scent. Romantic. I imagine snuggling next to a fire place wearing it. ♥ UPDATE 09-06-19 EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THIS PERFUME PROPERLY STORED IN COOL DRY DARK PLACE I GUESS THE JUICE IS NOW BAD BECAUSE I SPRAYED IT YESTERDAY AND IT DOES NOT SMELL PLEASANT ANYMORE IT SMELLS FUNKY... YOU MUST USE IT QUICK OR IT GOES BAD.

I had to write again. Neosmiaphyte's review was so right where she said this is great for turning a dud perfume into something wearable! I've been trying for a month to find a way to enjoy my big bottle of blind-bought Baiser du Dragon, but time after time with that one just get straight up sweet patchouli, which I hate. So after trying again I remembered the tip of spraying Fire and Ice over a perfume not working for us and unbelievably it worked! I can actually stand the Cartier now by spraying this inexpensive little beauty over it!!! Toned down the patch and even let me get my first glimpse of the supposedly strong but invisible to my nose almond notes. I'm stunned. Have two bottles of this and now will order another....It's not just a beautiful perfume, it's a miracle worker! Everyone should have a bottle of Fire & ice.

This fragrance brings me lots of joy. I've tried both the vintage and current formulation (or at least the 2013) and can say that while there are differences, Revlon stayed relatively true to Fire & Ice's legacy. This is a warm amber scent with that special nineties-ish peach & sandalwood that just make it so comfy and cozy. I've had my 30mL bottle for 2 years and don't often find myself craving it, but do love it when I wear it. It's something that just brings back childhood memories and is amazingly good quality for the price you pay. It lasts quite a long time for an eau de cologne and will instantly make you feel warm both inside and out. I wear this when about to fall asleep or snuggling up in bed. I'd also really like to smell this on a significant other as it would be endlessly comforting.

Why did I not know about this in high school? I would have positively doused myself in this stuff lol. Anyway I got a bottle of this a few months ago for less than 10 bucks at Bealls. I love it. I am an amber fiend and this hits all the right buttons for me. Ambery and sweet and just uggghhhh. I layer this with an amber attar (because I have a serious amber problem) and spend the rest of the day enveloped in a cloud of goodness. I don't really get any "ice" off of this, or "fire". The amber gives it warmth, but a gentle sort of warmth that's not overpowering. Sunlight on ripe fruit in an orchard at the beginning of fall when the air is cool. Definitely something that can be worn whenever, where ever and provides a nice base for layering.

Fire and Ice quickly made its way into my top favorite perfumes. This is number 2 just after Britney Spears fantasy. Fire and ice is warm, sexy, confident, and powerful all mixed together in a beautiful classic simple bottle. This scent is best described as a rich warm Amber. And yes it does smell like Amber Romance from Victoria secret but better! I find Amber Romance has a plastic undertone to it. Fire and ice does not. This scent is smooth from beginning to end. I find that it is not offensive to anyone's senses and boy oh boy does it get a lot of compliments! It projects extremely well and last at least 8 hours. And best of all the price!!! A 1.7 oz bottle of this amazing juice will only run you about $10.00!

This is one of my cheapest perfumes and also one on my most loved! I always wanted this in the 90s but as a teen back then I didn't have much cash. I remember it being a lot stronger back then, but maybe that's why I couldn't get myself to purchase it. I recently found it for $10. It's amber & orange blossom is so addictive. It is everything I love in a fragrance. It is kind of weak compared to the original back in the 90s but still no change in scent notes. They still market this as a cologne but it is really an EDT. Back in the 90s you had 4 types of women's fragrance. Strongest was Perfume, then EDP, then Cologne, the weakest was EDT. Now cologne is gendered as Male scent.

This amazes me. Strong, yet soft, and lasts about four hours on me, which is about an hour longer than my high-end Guerlains! And so very beautiful. I don't think oh, if only it were more sophisticated (meaning expensive)....I'm just thrilled I can afford multiple bottles because I never want to run out of this beauty. I get no whiff of alcohol in the opening, it starts out creamy, sweet, golden, round--and stays that way throughout. Not one angular or sharp note, just comfort and happiness. I reach for this so often. It makes me wonder why I have so many other perfumes. If I were forced to pick one this would be that one. Amazing.

Shop My Drawers/Declutter Project #1: Fire & Ice. Strong sweet golden amber, at the upper edge of syrupy for my tastes and saved by the inedible incense wandering in and out, softened by indistinct florals. I would swear there was peach, but I guess that round fruitiness is tangerine. Three hours later I thought it was gone, but at around the five hour mark I still caught a whiff of glorious sweetness while hanging the clothes. I have no idea why I had forgotten this. It's ridiculous that 1990s beauties like this can be had for so much less than screechy knockoffs. So good. Verdict: KEEP, and wear more often this winter.

I blind bought this one only because it was cheap and it put my total to the free shipping amount on an order. I was not expecting the hidden gem it turned out to be. I think it flies under the radar and is dismissed as a drug store cheapie but holy smokes, it's really nice! There's that sweet citrus and floral going on at the surface but at the base there's this lovely smokey amber that is so warm and inviting. It's a cologne but performs as well as most of my edp fragrances. It's versatile, I would say all-year-round and pretty much day to evening. For the price, you can't go wrong.

This is a 90’s gem. One of my favorite drugstore perfumes of past that stands the test of time. It’s a fruity sweet feminine scent that I would compare the fruitiness and sweet mix to Donna Born in Roma type of scent. Not truly floral not truly gourmand. Oranges and cream. The cream is a beautiful vanilla and sandalwood that dries so lovely to a very light woody incense powder. But nothing old lady or cloying. My bottle got better after 2 months. This reminds me of D&G Devotion. For less than 15 bucks. I love this little perfume and will be purchasing for as long as they make it.

I will leave a more detailed review later, but right now I am in shock at the notes listed. I wore this daily for 5 years, and I always swore it was a non-gourmand vanilla. That WAS quite awhile ago, so I will try it out again and see what I pick out. This is still in my cabinet. It is my favorite layering scent. Whenever I blind buy a bad bottle or am testing a dud, I spray this on over the offending scent. Fire and Ice blends it nicely into something wearable for me. This was my first fragrance love, and we will never part. We just don't get much alone time these days.

This one definitely is an acquired taste. Smells like powdery soft warm bubblegum, which to me is quite interesting. Is unique, and you can tell it comes from another time. Also it smells like a super sweet powdery cherry-almond. Identical to Amber Romance from Victoria’s Secret. Does not smell like all the other bubble- gum candy fruit bomb/typical celeb frag. Not boring. Not basic. But you either love it or hate it. However it is insanely sweet and one spray is enough. Unless you want to give the whole room a migraine. One spray is enough! Beautiful though. Love.

This is the most beautiful amber fragrance that I have ever smelled. Sweet, mellow floral and vanilla-like notes envelope the amber base making this fragrance one deliciously beautiful cheapie. I use this as a bedtime fragrance, perfect for any weather or time of day but not long lasting on my skin. I can get about 3 plus hours on my clothes. Nevertheless if there was ever a fragrance that totally defines a comforting warm glow, like sitting next to the fireplace on a cold day this is that fragrance. A MUST for amber lovers!

The inextricable link between scent and memory is a funny thing, and when I smell this fragrance in an instant I am 13 years old, on summer holidays, wearing a gypsy skirt and bangles and thinking I was the coolest girl in the world, rocking my Australis lip gloss and Fire & Ice. It seemed so daring and grown up at the time, and to this day I can't smell those telltale notes that to me smell of candied pineapple and amber without feeling that little catch of excitement. A cheap thrill and I love where it takes me.

This perfume is nice for everyday and cozy nights. The bottle feels great in my hands though it's sold in a small size. It smells a lot like Exclamation! by Coty, and I tried to add it to the database above, but there are many other similar scents to Fire & Ice on this page. Cindy Crawford shot the ad for this perfume in the 1990s and she was the top Revlon model IMO. Check out the lovely Revlon nail polish and lipstick that inspired this perfume. Those came about in the 1950s and deserve their own page.

This is a very cozy Amber bubble gum fragrance, I have an old bottle from the early 2000s or late 90s from my aunt, she left me around half the bottle, and it projects very well. It gives off base notes of vanilla, it's also slightly fruity, perhaps due to the tangerine note. This is a nice winter time fragrance, I enjoy wearing it, when it's really cold, but I hardly ever reach for it. Warning very strong, literally one spray is enough, but I like a fragrance to have an intimate projection.

Incredible that they call this a cologne! Performs so much better than most EDPs. It’s the kind of experience that makes me amazed I ever spend more for less, like everyone else is ripping us off. It smells delicious, costs a song, blends so well with other fragrances, extremely comforting, doesn’t smell dated at all, just inviting and delicious. Warm and sensual. On my list of recommendations for someone just getting into perfume, so much bang for your buck. I wish everything was like this!

Revlon can take credit for making some of the nicest inexpensive drug store fragrances out there. Love Fire and Ice. This is just a nice soft scent, amber heavy but no bug spray. No heavy powder. Check the notes, they are very balanced with none overwhelming the others. Lasts a decent amount of time on the skin, after about an hour or so it is very lovely and cozy scent. Highly wearable in multiple situations, first date, office, etc. I do not think it is dated either. A recommend from me.

So I did come back to this, and my other half promptly bought it for me, despite telling me the day before that I had "enough perfumes". We both love it. Sweet, strong, amber. Smells a little to me like a citrusy cola, but with more depth and roundness, and with that distinct "perfumey" effect from the florals and musk. Yummy. I enjoy breathing it around me, and while it only lasted about 4 hours, that's not bad at all for a cologne--and a great ride while it lasted, with definite silage.

Good old classic Fire & Ice! I love this back in the day and recently re added it to my perfume line up. I remember this smelling slightly different but yes it definitely has VS Amber Romance vibes majorly but with a hint of sweetness thanks to the orange blossom and magnolia....all the notes round this out to a beautiful Amber,musky,sweet,incensey perfume. Longevity and sillage are both moderate on me I still have the original VS Amber Romance perfume too wich I love.

Fire & Ice and Amber Romance come from the same parents for sure!! They could be lost twins. I have a vintage bottle which still smells great believe it or not and after 20+ years! I do reach for my VS Amber Romance more though. Not sure why -- she is more gentle and hangs around a lot longer. But in the end, they smell identical. At least on me. Happy Groundhog Day! Remember that whatever scent you wear today, might end up on you tomorrow... (as based on the movie) :)

Today I decided to revisit this perfume, I don' wear it much because I go to university and I find that it's too powerful to wear casually but I love love it so much. My bottle is at least 15+ years old and it's aged so beautifully, it's sweet, amber, orange blossom with this undercurrent of vanilla. It's so nice and cozy, I want to snuggle someone wearing this, 10/10, I am so thankful to have this old bottle, the perfume in the cap smells divine. Can't get enough.

This is a sweet delicious amber fragrance. Warm, inviting, cozy, sexy. I get cherry 🍒 here along with the orange blossom. What a fantastic combo. Vanilla, soft incense. I also could swear I smell aloe here but it must remind me so much of VS Amber Romance that is why I think I am smelling it. I really miss VS better perfumes that got discontinued. It is nice to have a perfect dupe for Amber Romance. This is a very romantic perfume. Love this cheapie!

My signature scent, a great fragrance for every day. It lasts on the skin all day and can be smelled from a mile around. It's as cheap as chips, and can be worn to any occasion, whether you're at the office or out to dinner - or even around the house. A lovely, sweet oriental that will leave an enticing trail wherever you go. DON'T OVERSPRAY! You'll make yourself sick. The only perfume that I have ever bought with any regularity for years and years.

Mmmmm eye roll goodie deliciousness!!! This is creamy, smooth, bubblegum!!! Nothing at all like VS Amber Romance, which is why i bought it in the first place. Of course that may change as the weather cools and the tuberose goes backstage abd amber comes to the forefront. But now with 70s weather, damn good! It is so gorgeously sweet and creamy! This is for warm weather and casmir is for cold weather. Wow this is what gourmands should be!

Love this. I was hesitant to try this as its been around forever and finally broke down at a drugstore 1/2 off sale. Very happy with it and will repurchase once its gone. Strong oriental reminds me of (not smells exactly like but in the same way) as obsession and ciara types. Sweet, amber, floral, incense mix. Very strong for first couple hours then goes to skin. Lasted over 7 hours on me before I resprayed to freshen/strengthen it up.

My high school friend would mist the inside of her black leather jacket. Forgot about that until I smelled this. She was low key cool:) All scents go through reformulations through the decades, and this must be one of the best. It’s really smooth, settles quicker than expected. A few here already said it well; one mist is good, the bottle is beautiful, quality, nice to hold. Im betting this will smell lovely on my sweater tomorrow.

Powdery incense and peachy narcissus. Many of my favourite perfumes contain narcissus, and many smell like peach cobbler. It's bizarre. Fire & Ice is a fresh orange zest with strong base ambers. Osmanthus is listed in the notes and while this confuses me, I can accept it because osmanthus is different in so many different perfumes. It starts off very alcoholic but dries down so warmly and lovingly. Like a hug. A warm, loving hug.

Based on all these reviews I went ahead and blind bought it online for pretty cheap or a 50ml. Yeah I know its been around for decades and I have never smelt it (at least I don't remember if I have) Then as I went to my local Shoppers DrugMart I saw it on the shelf so I tested it. WOW!!! This is such a warm cozy scent!! I couldn't stop smelling my wrist! I am so glad this is coming.... I really can't wait now! lol

The dry down on this is so beautiful! though it's gorgeous even from the first spray! you may need to reapply during the day i usually keep mine in my bag :). it smells warming and not too sweet it's sexy but you can wear it during the day or night. I will always repurchase this purfume after not having it for so many years i'm glad i came back to it. ( moved countries didn't bother buying perfume for a while :(.

You guys, I’m so sad about this one. I love the scent so much. It was a favorite when I was younger (1990s). It was such a song then. Heady and long lasting orange, honey, amber, woody scent. Now it is a whisper. The smell that I recognize and love is there, but so subtle, so short lived. No sillage to speak of anymore. So sad. Why must they corrupt the classics? I take it so personally when they do. :(
