Reflections

I've been finding these older perfumes in small country town pharmacies and buying them because I find them better than a lot of new fragrances on the market. The 50ml bottle I picked up has colourless juice instead of the light pink shown in the picture, which I assume is because of the age. Reflections is a delicate floral and a true EDT strength with a moderate sillage. It has the same vibe to me as Downtown by CK, even though they have a different scent. It's the lightly sweet florals that just smells pretty in a clean way that makes them comparable. It's definitely office friendly and would suit someone that's not into "loud" perfumes. It's not a sugery sweet perfume by today's standards. Though it's not mentioned anywhere, I get an aquatic touch, like water lotus or something similar. I imagine sitting in the botanic gardens looking at the reflections of water lotus flowers in a pond. Other than florals, I can just make out some of the other notes if I concentrate. I don't get much fruit at all but as it dries down I get an ever so light touch of creamy tuberose, musk and patchuli. I like that even though it's inoffensive and light, it still has presence and I can clearly smell wafts of it without having to sniff where I've sprayed. Overall, it's probably too innocent and safe for me but still it's a nice floral with "oomph", that can easily hold it's own in modern perfumery.
