Passion

When I initially smelt this fragrance, like the reviewer below, said, it reminded me straight away of TF black orchid. Funny enough, I actually prefer this version. The only thing is that it’s super intimate and doesn’t really project. I like to spray it before bed I find it quite cosy. It is quite a fleeting scent, doesn’t last long. You may need to have your nose right up to your skin to be able to smell it after some time. Edit:24/01/2024 I purchased Cacharel -I am delicious, today and it smelt exactly like Passion. I was in the shop and I tried black orchid on one wrist velvet orchid on the other wrist and realised that they are not the same. Velvet orchid in the drydown has very little similarity. But Cacharel is almost like for like but less alcoholy than passion, revolutionary.

EDIT: After macerating for a year, this it totally different...! Opens up with a nasty bitter medicine, but that settes down after around a minutes or so. Then it becomes.... green and earthy??? Like... Aromatic, woody, weak patchouli.... cucumber? Melon? I don't even know. It's just a completely different perfume. The base is unisex, ambery and freshly woody. Very easy to wear perfume, but it confuses me how it has changed so much...! INITIAL REVIEW: A good dupe for Coco Chanel Mademoiselle! Same woody, woody perfume, but at none of the cost! I don't understand the comparisons to Black Orchid, which is a much stronger and bolder perfume.

I can smell that almost aquatic or melon note in the opening the reviewer Cannelline below my comment mentioned but it doesn't make the scent aquatic.. it's almost aquatic, true-r words have never been said lol. It's woody and the earthiness is prominent. It also have a cosmetic-ey smell to it, I loved it. I tried Black Orchid in a store a couple of days ago and these are similar but Passion is a lot softer I think, well blended. I would use this, never Black Orchid. But it evaporated rather quickly. Only been 10 min and I have to dig my nose in there to smell it yikes

my skin only picks up patchouli, BUT there is something else that makes the patchouli almost kinda sexy, its lighter and not a nose burning kind of patchouli and dare i say its softest most wearable patchouli. I like layering this with other sweet perfumes to give them and that earthy feeling. I like it. and the bottle, I WOULD JUST BUT IT FOR THE BOTTLE. so BEAUTIFUL

I'm not familiar with Black Orchid, but I like how this smells. Woody, sweet, and a noticable floral presence. A VERY pleasant surprise for just $4.99. Performance is poor, but for that price, what can we expect? Just spray often!
