Insurrection II Emperor

The white bottle in this line was a go to for me for a while and I tried this one today and in my opinion it’s a great addition to the line. This fragrance reminds me of D&G Devotion pour femme. I feel like this is a better representation of a male equivalent to Devotion than the one released by D&G with that boring coffee note from 5 years ago. Very well blended and the bottle is beautiful. If you like a warm bright spicy citrus fragrance this is certainly one to check out!

Yep it's smells like orange I guess from the Pink pepper but it's light kind of like Coral fantasy but Orange instead of Apple. The one disappointment in this fragrance is the longevity on skin not so good. But for the price you can spray spray. Blind by safe if you like orange ish with a dry woodsy base. Great for the summer I'm giving this a 9 out of 10 unique. 9/10

Generally the Insurrection series hasn’t done much for me, but Emperor is the exception. This is cheap and cheerful for sure, but the creamsicle on top of Aventus DNA twist is actually kind of unique and playful, and I enjoy this more than the more blatant and hollow copies

I love it. It is like a child of Aventus and Ultrared man. Great for warmer weather. Uplifting and playful. Almost unisex. I get the pineapple and moss. Citrus and fruitiness. Slight vanilla to give it some sweetness.

This takes that idea and runs away with the citrus while dropping the tropical fruit and amping up the herbal notes. The result is that it smells like an orange creamsicle in the opening before some more sophisticated aromatic fougere style herbal and pink pepper notes appear in the drydown to give it some sophistication.The major issue is that aromatic fougere notes aren't quite strong enough to lift this into Parfum de Marley's Sedley or Lattafa's Maahir Legacy territory, so the orange creamsicle aroma dominates overall. It's a very pleasant and fun aroma, but it may also come off smelling too sweet and candy-like for some. Overall, this is great for younger users who like the modern style of sweet and fresh fragrances. Not so much for older users. It can easily be replicated with a citrus forward fragrance such as Acqua di Gio or a clone thereof layered with a strong vanilla forward fragrance (like Reyanne's own Insurrection). Or you can just grab this from a discounter. Price point is excellent, quality is high. It's totally unisex and great for the warm months. Recommended, especially if you like sweet and fresh fragrances.

I got to say, this is UltraZest on me. Notes listed are way off and ridiculous except for the dry down. From the reviews, when I kept hearing orange creamsicle....why weren’t people comparing it to Chanel Allure Edition Blanche. Reason being is this is a vanilla/patch bomb with a “Orange-ish” opening. Like UltraZest, don’t let the orange let you think this is a summer fragrance. IMHO, this would be better fit for winter vs summer. Projection is good. Longevity is good. Value is off the charts. For me, this is fall through spring...no summer. The vanilla/patch combo is a bit too dark/sweet for hotter days. I do think they are trying to clone MUGLER’s Amen Ultra Zest. I have UltraZest and this is pretty close. Opening is not as bright....but dry down is darn close.

This has a lot of DNA from pure II with sweet fruit added on top. Can be a bit harsh in the opening, similar to pure II, but once it settles it's much better. Also smells a lot better in the air than up close which is usually the case with cheapies. I really like it's freshness and sweetness, personally I can see myself wearing this year round. Got a compliment within the first half hour I was at work. Great buy. I usually layer pure II with extra pineapple and it helps get rid of some of the harshness. So I tried layering Emperor with some extra pineapple and it only helps it imho.

This is one of the best out of the Insurrection line. I prefer this over Ultrared. The opening accord of the orange creamsicle vanilla patchouli combo is the best. The dry-down is also well-done, just like the creamy birch, vanilla, and patchouli of Aventus. However, longevity and projection are weak. Given its price, it is worth a blind buy.

Este perfume huele literalmente a frescolita y creo que se debe a la combinación de la piña con la bergamota y las uvas, lo cual hace que su aroma se sienta al de un refresco de naranja. Es muy afrutado, herbal y dulce, es un aroma muy divertido y diferente, lo veo muy juvenil y para un día de calor.

Starts with Aventusy vibes with a creamcicle thing in the background. The creamy tone moves forward as it dries down. It's a cool twist on this scent profile. Super easy on the wallet as well.

It starts off very citrusy from the pink pepper, currant, and bergamot. After a little bit it gets sweet from the vanilla and florals and you get an orange cream scent. It gets woody and green from the patchouli and moss in the dry down. It's orange cream aventus variant that is a little synthetic in the opening, but it smells good and very affordable. Good pickup for Spring and Summer.

Zesty, fizzy blood orange/mandarin and patchouli-vanilla scent. There is a 'spritzy' or carbonated quality to it in the opening, probably from the pink pepper -- it sort of smells like a carbonated blood orange cocktail. Sweet and youthful opening but dries down a bit more mature with the oakmoss becoming more prominent. There are currently not a lot of fragrances in the market that are similar to this, but if you're a fan of the French Avenue x Aromatix 'Sun Kissed' fragrance, you will love this. 'II Emperor' has a similar carbonated-fizzy-bright scent DNA but with different citruses and patchouli instead of vetiver. Vetiver would have been better for this scent profile -- alas i'm generally not a fan of patchouli. It's a very good smell for the warmer months and I recommend it if you like fruity and sweet fragrances.

I see and hear a lot of comps to Mugler’s Ultrazest and I must say it only has a hint of that DNA. This is basically an orange/vanilla twist on the Aventus DNA. I get the Aventus DNA from open to dry down but with a beautiful creamy orange throughout. It’s a great fragrance , especially at sub $30 prices but nowhere close to that beautiful citrusy vanilla from Ultra Zest. If you love Aventus and want a unique take on the DNA , snag this ASAP. If you’re looking for an Ultra Zest clone look elsewhere. This is an 8.5/10 in my book , it’s a great take on a popular DNA.

I'm deep into the game of collecting perfumes, both dupes and OGs. This hobby has been a huge passion of mine for several years and it's pretty much swallowing all of my money. I've smelled countless of different perfumes and Insurrection II Emperor is one of my favourites. It's just so beautiful. Heaven in a bottle!

3% Ultra Zest, Aventus DNA, but like Insurrection Pure, only the top notes. This is not a bad Cologne. It has its place. It is an orange version of Mont Blanc's Explorer. They layer good together for the office.

NOT a dupe of UZ, it goes orangy Aventus with loads of fruits, pineapple, cassis and woody green leafy drydown. on its own, very nice fragrance for office, gym and indoors in summer and spring 7.5/10
