Reyane

This is a FANTASTIC floral fragrance that i find to be extremely and wonderfully feminine. It has a bit of sweetness but it's balanced by an element of subtle boldness from within that adds an inexplicable touch of class to it. Definitely more on the sophisticated end. I recently found my bottle in my old perfume stash that dates back from the mid to late 90's and boy am i glad i did! My mother had given it to me and now, as an adult, i appreciate this fragrance even more than i did as a young teen. The perfume now looks more peachy-orange than bright yellow but still smells as i remember it. It stays on the skin for quite some time. The scent to me conjures images in my head of chic women in pretty dresses and heels sipping cocktails, or of the assertive office woman who is also sweet and sensual. If i had to compare it to a more well-known perfume, i would say that it is somewhat reminiscent of a fragrance like Jean Paul Gaultier's "Classique". I wish i could add the actual notes for reference but i've tried searching online and have found virtually very little to no information on this perfume other than that it's a floral fragrance, and unfortunately i am not at the connoisseur's level to be able to detect each note expertly enough. My mother could only recall that it was a dupe for another scent but she can't remember what. No one seems to know anything else. Reyane Tradition doesn't even seem to have a website. What i do know is that it's a rare fragrance and hard to find. Ebay only had one listing for it when i searched out of curiosity and it was around the 100 dollar mark. And my google search brought up mainly comments on various fragrance boards where users wondered where they could locate the manufacturer or buy the fragrance. It makes me feel lucky to have this beautiful perfume in my collection.
