Alhambra Bakhoor

A very interesting incense with the unique and special musks that are the hallmark of the house. It opens with a rich, slightly almondy wine aroma, a little fruity but with a hint of liqueur. Right from the start, you can smell the rose, which gives it a bright and silky touch, and especially the saffron, with its metallic and slightly powdery note. As it dries down, you can smell the blend of incense with the musks and a soft touch of oud. The oud is present, very perceptible and easily recognizable, but it's a friendly and easy-to-wear oud, not at all animalic, dirty, or complicated. All of this is present from the beginning with a significant spicy character where clove and anise play a prominent role. The perfume lasts a long time and leaves a very pleasant, moderate trail. I would dare say it's the most beautiful incense I've ever tried. Although it's also true that, even though it's centered on that note, it's not a typical incense perfume. Despite its intensity, I find it very versatile and easy to wear. Perhaps more suited to evening than daytime, but, except for very hot summer days, I think it's perfect for any situation. And above all, sexy, thanks to the musk effect that gives it certain nuances reminiscent of other perfumes from the brand, like Cristina la Veneno or Candy Darlong. Candy says...
