Mistress Tuberose

Misstress Tuberose is a tuberose-based perfume, and one of the best I know! In this case, the tuberoses are the absolute protagonists, although nuanced by other flowers surrounding them. It is an intense perfume but everything is very well blended, making it neither challenging nor unpleasant at any moment and, in my view, turning it into an all-terrain and totally versatile tuberose, perfect as a signature fragrance for any lover, like me, of this flower. The overall effect is brilliant, citrusy, with very pleasant greenish touches. Misstress Tuberose is also one of the most sensual tuberose perfumes I know. Here, the flowers rest on the accords created by the house that resemble human skin, making it not only unique but also infinitely sexy. If you have tried perfumes like Cristina la Veneno from the same house, you will know what I mean :) In short, a highly recommended tuberose for anyone who likes this note.

I won this in a Fragrantica sweepstakes and it just arrived. When I first sprayed it my partner was disgusted and scowled. It had a strong chemical smell that reminded me of walking into a latex clothing boutique. It quickly developed into frankincense, which I love but I heard comments about it smelling like an old lady leaving church. The frankincense remained but then the tuberose came in with the laudanum. It was powdery and slightly sweet. I definitely see how this is unisex. Now I am smelling the lily of the valley and the oud, with a warm leathery scent. I'm very happy with the performance so far and the sensual journey it's taking me on but I do think the label on the bottle looks cheaply done like it was printed on cheap paper on a home printer. The artwork is blurry and low resolution and I expected more for the price point this goes for which I believe is 180 euros. .However, it did come in a pretty little brocade pouch inside an equally poorly printed cardboard box. That's a shame because the fetish imagery is great, it's just low quality. I'm thrilled to have it in my collection though because it's definitely unique! It will definitely be something I reach for when I'm dressed in leather or rubber. It's super sexy and primal.

Lots of vibrant Florals in the top notes with a animalic base. In the middle you get like an Iris-y synthetic note that stands out. This smells like an older woman going out to drink at a pub on a Saturday night.
