Morayma

A blind buy. Wearing this reminds me of Goutal's Un Matin d'Orage - it has a similar profile of lush gardenias and dewy green. However compared side-by-side Morayma is definitively more floral with influences from jasmine and narcissus. It has zero woody undertone compared to the fresh sandalwood/champaca accord in Un Matin d'Orage. Dry down is very clean - the guava and coriander come out more, balanced nicely with an orris accord on a white musk base. The Goutal leans more organic, almost dirty (I LOVE that special vibe from Un Matin d'Orage though). I was aiming for a nice, shampoo-y gardenia that stays fresh as it dries down. It's not an easy task and Morayma pretty much fits the bill. It is very well-balanced, but I have yet to see why people should pay niche price for it.

This perfume has a mild medium intensity Duration around 7-8 hours The aromas of this perfume play with the delicacy of slabs romas that sit in the nights of Andalucia Spain. When you walk through the streets you can feel the jasmine of the gardens that at night release their greatest aroma. Jasmine is the most present in this perfume with magnolia, to be a refreshing, fresh and bearable perfume at any time of the day it takes citrus, that part is great because I could enjoy it on hot days. Beautiful, delicate ... it is a very floral perfume that plays with aromas of delicate and extremely beautiful flowers. I have had a sample and I have certainly enjoyed it

Ricardo Ramos is a pioneer of the creation of artistic perfumery in Spain. He is a Colombian perfumer established in Granada. He is also the first perfumer in Latin America to found his own independent brand in Europe. This perfume with notes of Gardenia and Jasmine, with a touch of Magnolia and Narcissus, indicates from the start an assumed flowery composition. Although the addition of guava and grapefruit are there, the latter are barely perspective to make you forget the fruity side. The outfit is excellent, 3 sprays suffer for the day, for a moderate wake. With the perfumer Jorge Lee at the controls, this juice guarantees quality. On the presentation side, it's quite original: a simple small box of very ordinary cardboard, sporting the brand's label and the container, then inside, a clutch of fabrics in Andalusian colors containing the square bottle. A beautiful collector's room.

I was lucky enough to win some Ricardo Ramos samples in a giveaway and am just now getting around to trying them... I would love to try more from this house because so far, I'm impressed. Morayma is a very fresh and pretty gardenia-forward fragrance. At first sniff it's very "hey, gardenia" with a whiff of jasmine and I get a lot of green (the fig leaf and hay), it's sweet but also manages to seem warm and a bit outdoorsy. A yellowy springtime sort of feeling. Later it dries down and warms up and the magnolia, grapefruit, musk and coriander step through. This fragrance seems straightforwardly sunny and lovely but it's not at all basic - it's a little more complicated than your typical springy floral. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for a full bottle of this one, I think.
