Sceptre

I was looking for an autumn winter fragrance because my Flavia Initial bottle was almost empty and I wanted to try something new, smoother just like Initial in the same price range. As a big fan of woody spicy sweet combo's I was checking on similar ones. Everything new i tried seemed so heavy, too fruity or too sweet, but when I tried Sceptre things changed. Cardamom and saffron don't show off too much spiciness, just enough to introduce sweetish violet, orris and jasmine to kick in and carry the fragrance with fresh, flowery, soft and light smell.. Everything is held together with fairly strong leather, vetiver and fresh ambroxan which dominate the final stage of the fragrance and give it the masculine title. Overall very fresh, smooth, clean, luxurious nose friendly fragrance thats hard to overspray and its great for everyday.

I don't know if they were after a TF Ombre Leather clone but this is a smoother Ombre Leather without that god awful funky moss note in it. Masculine, smooth, rich smelling with a lovely white leather dry down that is easy to wear for most males 30+. This is a killer in a suit or a bad lad in a t-shirt and jacket. Best of the line up and a must buy. Update: I gave this away. I liked it as it as the leather was smoother than OL but after a few months in the bottle the leather note was stronger and blacker. The new recipient used the whole bottle within two months, so it's a 'me' problem.

A heavy leather fragrance with a smoky edge. Very masculine, serious, and dark in character. It follows a similar DNA to Ombre Leather, but at a cheaper price.If you enjoy leathery, smoky scents, this is a great option. 7/10

It smells like Ombre Leather only for 10 mins, than comes cheap plastic oud, just like in any other dupes of this perfume.
