Reb'l Fleur Love Always

I have the 2019 EDT version of "Angel" and I find that "Love Always" is similar but very different. They both are beautiful, bold, mature fruitchouli fragrances, however the patchouli in "Love Always" is more toned down and the distinct praline note is replaced by a plum note. This scent is smoother, the opening is more perfumey. It lacks the grit of "Angel" as the strong coconut note makes the fragrance smooth and creamy. As it dries down, the patchouli fades away and the vanilla goes on to dominate the fragrance. I can actually picture Rihanna wearing this however I do not think of the "Breakin' Dishes", "Hard" or "S&M" Rihanna. To me, this represents the "Stay", "Russian Roulette" and "Rehab" Rihanna. She is wearing a long black dress and belting out one of her ballads. The perfumers did a good job on capturing her classier, more elegant and mellow side. This makes the fragrance appropriate for more formal events. I have been blind buying perfume for a while which has made my intuition quite accurate. Longevity: above average. About 7 hours on skin and much longer on clothes. Projection: moderate for 4 hours. Package: Pretty box and bottle. I certainly prefer this bottle to the "Reb'l Fleur" one, the gray colour looks so much better. A really pretty and massive bottle. Originality: 6,5/10. It won't impress the more experienced fans of fragrance but it is a pleasant, elegant addition to one's collection and quite good for a celebrity fragrance. Value for money: Great. The 100 ml bottle is not that expensive and the scent is beautiful.

Simply Wonderful! I love Rihanna's perfume line, and Love Always is no exception! The coconut note is the star in this fragrance. Similar to the original Reb'l Fleur, the coconut note is sexy, seductive, and at the forefront. The red berries add a subtle sweetness to this musky masterpiece! In my opinion, Love Always is a lighter, more of an all-season wear-- Reb'l Fleur. Most people believe that if you own the original Reb'l Fleur, there is no need to own Love Always--or vice-versa. I can totally understand why this is said because the two are so similar. In my opinion, Reb'l Fleur is more dense and more winter ready. It is, also, more concentrated to my nose--which, to me, makes it more appropriate for date night than its younger sister. Love Always, is more appropriate for work and other daytime activities-- when you want to smell alluring and mysterious--yet, classy. Longevity and silage are both great. Not a safe blind buy--but great for any elegant goddesses you may know!

Since I am kookoo for the original Rebelle Fleur, I am very anxious to get my hands on this. And since I'm in Canada, I'm probably going to have to look hard for this, because we seem to be the last to get anything new, if at all. Sigh. Edit - I just saw this on fragrancenet. I've never ordered from them before so I'm a bit nervous but since I can't find it anywhere else and I want it badly I'm going to take the plunge. Plus they have Ted Lapidus Orissima which I also want badly and can't find anywhere else so I'm excited. I heard from fellow fragranticians that fragrancenet is quite slow to deliver, I better get a move on before holiday rush.

She is mysterious, sexy and mature. Love Always is smoother, fruitier and warmer version! The vanilla is almost boozy, the rich plum, the coconut is the right amount of tropical and peach is just right. Those are the notes I really get. The patchouli isn’t screechy, it’s toned down and cozier. I love the original especially the dry down but Love Always is instantly good first spray and that’s what I wanted the original to be without waiting. I love both but I would get Love Always because the longevity and throw is incredible ❤️ Very unique, mesmerizing, hypnotizing and again so SEXY! Go treat yourself and smell amazing ❤️

I’ve smelt the original Reb L’Fleur and this perfume is no doubt very similar. Both perfumes offer a heavy, sweet, floral and musky scent. The perfume opens up with an undertone of peach, plum and coconut (sort of a fruity but sweet and dark opening). The floral hints definitely appear more in the middle of the perfume. The musk runs throughout the scent but definitely is more noticeable in the base. Their is a sugary scent to the perfume, but it could be the vanilla and fruity accords which creates a almost “Candy-like” scent. The fragrance has a heavy-ish siliage with very good longevity. I recommend it!

I hear you about Fragnet Firefly. I placed my first ever order with them last week which included this one, Rebel Fleur Love Always, and one more, and while my bottle was sealed intact, smelled really very nice and seemed to be legit enough. I tried placing a subsequent, larger order the next day, they CANCELLED it saying my CC was no good even though they had just accepted it day before and accused me of trying to commit fraud! My card was in excellent standing, as always, I was so insulted. Jerks! Never again!

I love this fragrance its more coconut and vanilla richer and intense but the original is always going to be my favorite the bottle and everything and I like that Rihanna ended her “Rihanna fragrance “ line with the first fragrance since She’s coming out with Fenty fragrance Rihanna started with Reb’l Fleur ended with Reb’l fleur love always ended it with the first I’m excited to see what the Fenty fragrance will look like btw I know about Fenty fragrance cuz that’s what Fenty said in a q@a on the Fenty website

I've owned this Reb'l Fleur Love Always for over a year but only recently started to wear it. At first, I thought that it was the same as the original RF but, no. This version of RF is somehow softer and smoother than the original. It doesn't shout and doesn't feel as night time as the OG. RFLA is gorgeous and will be my pick to wear on summer evenings. The original RF is a powerhouse and will be great for autumn, winter and spring. I love both and simply, can't get enough.

I was hesitant at first as I am not a fan of coconut BUT MY GOD THIS STUFF IS SO ADDICTIVE!!!! It’s warm, coconut-y and sickly sweet! If you aren’t into sweet perfumes this definitely isn’t for you but my god I suggest everyone give this a chance at least! I got 30ml for about $19 so that’s pretty good in my books! But definitely test it first before you buy

Gorgeous younger sister of Reb’l Fleur. Slightly better in my opinion. Something about it is elevated...just sweeter. Honestly, I don’t know that I could tell the two apart if I wasn’t wearing one on each wrist right now. Headache, here I come! Both are really gentle and lovely and a total surprise given the low cost and frankly, fugly bottles.

Well since I am so kookoo about Rebl Fleur as it is and my bottle is running kinda low, me seeing this version popping up, I just HAD TO - woah, this is something I have to give a go! Ordered tonight for a very decent price and cannot wait to get it, very excited! This is obviously an update from my previous post below, sorry. I have it now.

This is a sophisticated scent, it's kind of sweet but there's just something intoxicatingly good about it. Reading the reviews here would make me steer clear and miss out on this gorgeous feminine fragrance. I like it 100x more than the original Rebl Fleur. This is smoother, creamier and stronger.

Reb'l Fleur Love Always is more of an intense version than the original Reb'l Fleur perfume as this fragrance appears to be less fruity and slightly more musky in comparison. The sillage and longevity is excellent, lingers very well.An absolute gem & joy to wear just like the original 🤩😍

This is all I wanted from the original version of this. This one is much more mature, darker, smoother, and less harsh than the original. More sophisticated and refined. I would say definitely go for this one over the original, I’m so glad Rihanna made a revamped version of this

Although it is not a summer fragrance, the coconut in it makes me pull it out mostly on fresher summer nights. It might be too dense during hot day time. It has almost a shampooey kind of feeling. Always get compliments with this one. Bottle is mostly done, will try the OG next.

Absolutely adore the original Reb'l Fleur fragrance thus i had to give this a try! It's a little less fruity & sweet yet this is much more musky and intense. The scent is as gorgeous as the original, longevity and sillage are both excellent, very long lasting.Fabulous :) ♡

I bought this bottle by mistake since I thought it was the normal version but anyway I love it. I wasn’t expecting to have the surprise by buying these limited edition. It smells amazing I think is the best of the complete rebel collection Very sweet and fruity

Gorgeous fragrance just like the original Reb'l Fleur. It smells really similar, but it doesn't have that fruity opening, it smells more coconutty/patchouli like? but I love both equally. another well done fragrance by Rihanna! <3

Very similar to the OG Reb'l Fleur but fruiter, smoother and with less patchouli. More well blended and wearable. I liked the OG but not enough to keep it in my collection, this one is staying tough. Perfect for summer nights.

This is the best of the bunch for being juicy and red while also being beautiful and musky. Definitely the most edible and it actually reminds me a lot of Alien or one of its flankers, as far as a fruity flormand goes.

I just love it for winter time. So cozy. It a kind of XS de Paco Rabane or Black Opium, but better! Because it has coconut! The only one i love from Rihanna parfums. And the only one i love from famous people!

A more sultry spin on the original Reb'l Fleur. Even sexier than the first.

So I really wanted to try this fragrance, but once i seen people say it smelt like the original, i put purchasing this on the back burner because at the time it was fairly new and only available in the 3.4 oz bottle. Had it been a completely different scent, i would've got this sooner. I was searching high and low for a 30ml bottle(because that's my way of sampling fragrances when I'm blind buying since it's the smallest size),but they were only available on Canadian websites. The 3.4 oz was becoming more available on eBay and other sites for reduced prices, but i still didn't want to pay $30-40 for a full bottle of a repeat of Reb'l Fleur. Fast forward 3 months later, i randomly checked Perfumania's website and seen a 30ml bottle for $9.99 with free standard shipping. Of course, i had to purchase it this time because i knew it would a while before i came across a deal like that for this particular fragrance. NOW, upon first spray, you definitely get Reb'l Fleur but dark and muskier, which perfectly matches the bottle. The sharpness of the plum and coconut isn't in this fragrance. It's more smooth and easy on the nose. It's still sweet, but more tolerable. I would probably wear this instead of the original. The perfomance of this fragrance is better than the original, which is pleasing because as Reb'l Fleur is kind of a bold fragrance and has a powerful silage, but poor longevity. If you're a fan of Reb'l Fleur, try this. If not(and happen to own the original), i wouldn't be in a rush to buy this. Give it a few months and it'll be available at Burlington and Tj Maxx for $10-20. Scent: 7/10 Packaging: 8/10 Performance: 7/10

With Reb'l Fleur Love Always we are still on the original's Barbados with fruits, berries and flowers, but this time we are walking just outside the city after a candlelit dinner. Still remembering the more playful afternoon walk it feels a little warmer, sweeter, smoother, creamier, more womanly and sensual, almost intoxicating when close but not cloying. It is stronger, richer and more intense than the original, but not very edgy or very mysterious - which the colouring of the bottle might suggest. There is still a hint of coconut (it is the coconut water, not the coconut flesh, and my nose does not detect anything akin to suntan lotion or Bounty chocolate bars), it is a bit more powdery and the vanilla is more present, but still not overbearing. Reb'l Fleur Love Always lasts a little longer than the original (which is about 4 hours) before becoming a skin scent, my boyfriend can smell it a couple of meters away from me - and he loves it even more than the original. I would wear this for any occasion year round - except for very hot days where I think it might become "too much".

This is a more grown-up version of Reb'l Fleur. I blind bought it and was excited at first, because the opening misses the generic, sugary red berries that I didn't like in Reb'l Fleur. The fragrance is definitely smoother and more expensive smelling than that one. But unfortunately it also lacks the intense coconut cookie note in the drydown that I love about the original. It's more Patchouli-focused and less adventurous, so all in all, I think the first version is more exciting. This is also a little more subdued, it's not a week scent, but by no means more intense than its predecessor. If you don't know Reb'l Fleur at all, I would describe Love Always as a patchouli and vanilla fragrance with strong fruity accents of pears and plum and a very light hint of coconut. It has a summer night feel, but would be very pleasant year round. I like it, but my collection is quite large, so I decided I won't keep my bottle because it doesn't fill a gap for me personally.

Mixed opinions on this one. It was another blind buy. The opening is very intensive and headache-inducing. It's definitely sweet but as it began to dry down, it smelt almost old-ladyish, for the first 10 min. The musk is definitely very present and sharp, as is the patchouli. After a half hour, the smell settles and diffuses and forms a cloud around you thats sweet and creamy with the vanilla and coconut. Very pleasant and very powerful. Smells way more expensive than it is - a sensual scent for sure. The longevity is very good for the price and the sillage is amazing for the price. Spray once and people within a metre of you will be able to smell it for a while. Spray it a few times and it could stink up a small room. Usually love powerful perfumes, but beware, the patchouli in this is quite intense and at times nauseating and headache inducing. Definitely a night-time perfume but could be worn year-round. Something I'd pick up to wear to a bar or club.

I sampled "Love Always" today at the perfume part of our local beauty mart and I must say...it is very well done. This, quite frankly, is a stronger version of "Reb'l Fleur." There are very assertive plum, coconut and red berry notes. I live in a tropical country and grew up smelling hibiscus, picking them and stripping them for integrated science class and I must say the hibiscus note is more of a phantasmal one than anything else. Hibiscus has a very faint smell and in most, I daresay there is no smell, hence why it does not show up in this scent. Again, I say, this is an updated version of "Reb'l Fleur" So if you don't like this one you might not really appreciate "Love Always." This one is more there...more full-bodied and slightly less caramelized. A very fruity and sexy perfume. The bottle is all black this time, a black high heel! Good for a night out dining. Quite good!

Mysterious, dark and slightly smokey. I feel very powerful and like a rebel in this. Leather jacket and fishnets with dark eyeliner. It's definitely sexy and makes a bold statement, like the older, cooler sister of Reb'l Fleur. At first, I felt this was a little too strong and leaned quite pungent. It was too much of everything. Super dry patchouli, coconut, plum, dark fruits... It was heady and heavy. However, that was probably my bad as I wore this on a hot sunny day. Yeah... Not a great idea. I can imagine this smelling really good in cooler weather. As the day drew to a close, I started getting lovely whiffs of vanilla, berries and soapy coconut and it smelled really nice. Not sure if I'm keeping this yet. Will update my review after I've worn her a few times. Edit: This also reminds me a little of Elizabeth Arden's Red Door.

I hated Reb’l Fleur. I got it as a gift and it was so strong it was headache inducing to me even from smelling it from the bottle. However, this, Reb’l Fleur Love always, is beautiful! Yes maybe it’s still very strong which means it lasts very well on my skin, the projection in minus degrees on my skin and clothes is over 4 feet which is impressive to say the least! But this one is lighter somehow even with keeping the intensity it’s more light and wearable and as someone said below I agree that it smells more expensive than Reb’l Fleur and most importantly it isn’t headache inducing at all! Something I should however note, is that my boyfriend who doesn’t pay too much attention to fragrance complimented me on this one and said it was a “sexy smell” so I definitely think it might be quite crowd pleasing.

I was just about to give it away this July when I decided to try it for one last time. Ye, it is a summer fragrance. So sultry and alluring when there is some humid on heat projecting skin. People can actually smell it when heat helps it project while in the winter it just stays on the surface of your skin concentrated and headache inducing. Another thing is that the sweetness is like it comes from aspartame or stevia, like I know it’s there but it’s in such an unsatisfying way. So maceration wasn’t the case here since now in September I am back to hating it. Never been that bipolar before when it comes to perfumes.

Love love love love it!!!! So sexy. Night out. Date night. You just wear this when it’s chilly out and dark with a dark outfit! If you don’t like something very strong and bold keep away from this one. The notes are very well blended so I can’t make any distinctions of a specific note, except for the patchouli. This doesn’t last long on me at all maybe 4 hrs max. Shame, I’ve paired it with into the night by bath and body works, and you’re the one if you want it to be a bit girlier, helps with the longevity. I found this at Burlington for $25! Rare gem for me!

The two are SIMILAR,as others have stated. You really don't need both, BUT I really like both😁. But if I had to choose, it would be this one. I feel it is more wearable than the 1st one, and easier on the nose (at first spray). Someone said that this is a TYPICAL celebrity scent?NOT AT ALL. this is why I love these two fragrances. They aren't the norm, and I have NOTHING in my 100+ collection like them. Beautiful fragrance, great price, & the performance is excellent (as with the other I get 12+ hours) These will be staples in my collection.

I bought this second hand from a person I know. I didn’t like it at first sniff because I realized it didn’t smell like what I expected at all, I expected it to be more fruity and tropical but it smells very glam, sexy, mysterious, but also basic. I think I’ve smelled this on various perfumes. This kinda grew on me though not gonna lie, when I sprayed it on my clothes it lasts about 5-8 hours, on skin it lasted about 3-5 for me and it blends with my skin really nicely. Onto the sillage I noticed that it really fills the room!

This is a very deep, and sexy scent. This isn't a fragrance I pick up often because it smells quite 'mature' and the patchouli is pretty strong. I bought this instead of the OG Reb'l Fleur because I saw so many reviews saying it was creamier and sweeter, and the patchouli was less strong. I don't dislike this scent, I do like it but I have to be in the mood to wear it on my skin. This would make a great date night fragrance, and I would love to try the OG Reb'l Fleur to smell the difference.

When I started my perfume journey, I collected a bunch of celebrity perfumes which I have slowly weeded out besides a few. I had tried to sell this one before, but the profit wouldn't have been worth it, so I put it away in a tote for over a year. Today, I pulled it out and sprayed it and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't smell like a "celebrity fragrance" but it also doesn't last long on me. But it is nice while it lasts!

It’s a great fragrance but it doesn’t smell really expensive! To my nose it’s a very sweet/ fruity fragrance but I don’t smell the coconut. Would recommend for a younger crowd even though I think anyone can pull it off in the right ambiance :) I would recommend you give it a try! Plus for that price, you can’t really go wrong!

To me this smells near identical to the original. The only real difference to me is the bottle. The scent might be very slightly different but I would not know if I was blindfolded. I always loved the original so of course I enjoy this one. IF your interested in getting it in hopes for a darker version it may disappoint!

FINALLY. I’d heard good things and I’m glad I listened. Now this, I like a lot. Quite a relief after having a hate affair with the original. This is deep, sultry and lovely. It’s no shrinking violet, for sure, but it’s sweet and smooth and doesn’t dare me to wear it (then punch me in the nose when I do).

As usual with all sweet and patchouli perfumes I feel the first notes cloying and bring bad bad memories of wearing to much Mugler Angel back in the day. But once this had chilled out I found it very yummy. It's sexy and has a lovely warmth. I'd keep this for a night perfume as it is quite heady.

Flambéed plum with red berry and coconut sauce all on top of dried patchouli. There's some whipped vanilla creme on top of it all too. This is a more 'nighttime' version of the original scent, which is brighter with much stronger coconut. Perfect for cool or cold weather, nice projection bubble.

I like this but not as much as the original. Like many have said, it lacks fruityness and the leather note some mention smells a little rubbery on me (very close up). But I still like to layer it with the original because it has more staying power and projection.

Fresh and sweet. Gets better with time. Good projection and longevity. I would probably wear this every day in autumn - winter. Quality perfume for a cheap price. I mean if Rihanna created it.

sweet peach plum coconut vanilla... warm tropical fruity floral. this reminds me of rebl fleur but softer with less patchouli and spice. my daughter always says I smell sweet when I wear this

This is mostly dark juicy fruits in this order: coconut, plum, red berries, a hint of peach, patchouli and musk. There is no amber or vanilla to my nose, thank god. I love it for the price.

It smells just like the original, I can't really pin point the difference. Just like the bottle, I think this fits an all-black outfit in colder weather. Not a typical celebrity fragrance.

Very similar to the original but alot lighter not as strong. Will be buying the original infuture though.
