RiRi

I love RiRi. I've never tried flavored rum. RiRi smells like a kind of delicious, small-batch flavored rum that is bottled on a distant tropical isle. Mixed in with the sugar cane prior to fermentation are lots of fruit juices and jungle flowers and vanilla pods. When sipped, you can taste the fruit and vanilla, and this rum is wonderfully sweet and refreshing. RiRi to me is best when first sprayed, when the big explosion of potent freshness is delivered by the alcohol. Although I'm not much of a drinker, I do like rum, and the rum note is at its most potent here. It's the note that made me curious about trying RiRi, and it does not disappoint. Sweetness now surrounds- a wonderful juicy, fruity vanilla sweetness. There is something sharp lurking *very* distantly, possibly the cassis, that imposes a tiny bit of an edge so the sweetness does not smother. RiRi is quite sweet. I reach for it when I want sweet; simple, satisfying, uncomplicated sweet. It's like knowing there is a box of your favorite tropical fruit-chunk popsicles in the freezer, waiting for you. The florals have been thoroughly muddled by the bartender and have lost their identity, so I would not describe RiRi as floral at all. I am not a fan of benzoin. Musk is ok, as is sandalwood. But these notes never appear on me. RiRi never "darkens," though it does deepen a bit. The fruitiness recedes slightly and the vanilla/rum takes center stage. RiRi remains sweet, sweet, sweet. RiRi is my "just before bed" fragrance. It continues to get sweeter the longer I wear it, which is very comforting. It's the fragrance equivalent of a lullaby. And while I am crazy about gourmands, and RiRi is certainly gourmand, it's a simple gourmand. It is also rather fleeting on my skin. RiRi is inexpensive and readily available, so I can spray to my heart's content. In the morning, however, I'm going to select a more durable scent like La Belle, or La Nuit de Tresor Nude, where I can spritz it once or twice and get a good six hours of wear out of it. RiRi lasts about three hours before it becomes a skin scent. Personally, I would not wear RiRi to work. It is just a little too sweet, and would need to be reapplied. But it is the perfect around-the-house, going-on-errands kind of a scent. I do think it would be fun if RiRi were available in a full-strength parfum form that would be purchased at a department store. I like the formulation of RiRi very much, so I would love to try a more super-concentrated version that you dab on, which would last till the next morning. The bottle would be super fancy, too. I really enjoy having RiRi in my fragrance arsenal, and will always keep a bottle around. It doesn't smell like any other fragrance I've encountered. RiRi is that slightly oversized cute t-shirt in your dresser with a silly image or funny saying on it that you wear around the house. It may not be the epitome of glamour, but it is super comfortable, it's reliable, and it never fails to make you smile.

I did a review of this on youtube about a year, and a half ago, and in that time, I am starting to agree with what others are saying. I do get the BBW Pink Chiffon similarities the more I smell RiRi. To me RiRi is grown up a little more than Pink Chiffon due to the rum. I've gone through a whole 8oz body cream of Pink Chiffon sometime in 2015. What I would like is Rihanna to make a perfume with champagne in it. I can really smell the vanilla passion fruit, and a slight rum. To me the silage on RiRi is better than Pink Chiffon I think it's due to the rum in RiRi, and because Riri is EDP, and Pink Chiffon is EDT, if you have that instead of the body mist. I would say percentage wise Riri is between 60 and 70% similar to Pink Chiffon. Also I really like the bottle for this it's very heavy, and sturdy one of my favorite perfume bottles, even though I don't drink. I don't feel like this perfume fits the bottle, with rum in it you think it would be a little edgier, but it's not. To me this perfume is nice, and simple. A people pleaser sweet in my opinion more for the younger crowd. To me her best, and most mature perfume is Rebelle. Even though I really like Rogue Love. I should be getting Kiss by the end of the week, so we will see. Also if anyone is interested Younkers, Bon Ton Stores online has the 100ml RiRi for $30.

Summery Tropical Rum Drink & Beachy Vibes... Probably because of the rum note, but this smells to me like a Piña Colada scent (although there's no coconut note per se). All the notes are there, but I also get hints of overripe fruit, powdery creamy vanilla that leans to tonka bean and bouncy, beachy pink vibes. There's a lactonic quality here that could be coming from vanilla & gardenia (although gardenia isn't listed) with some sunscreen nuances. Performance is average or slightly above average for year round wear, although the profile is fun and summery, and I agree with the reviewer below who likened this to a tropical cocktail. Although this isn't a an exact dupe of anything I've smelt, I would put it in the family of scents like Yara Lattafa, Pink Vanilla Kiss Body Fantasies & Pink Friday Nicki Minaj. I just have a tester of this, but I've tested it a few times, and it's FB worthy for fans of summery, beachy scents. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 05/10/24: I was surprised to notice a few times that the trail is different than how it smells up close. I noticed it when I re-entered an elevator. I was getting freshly washed, damp hair with Herbal Essences. Nice surprise. Love.

Ok so that longevity meter is not correct or people need to spray this on clothes, got it today for my brothers gilfriend and had to try it, the notes are all correct and if you love Reb'l Fleur you will love this too, I don't need to say anything else about the smell, it's all listed above, starts with alcohol and quickly becomes sweet, like a little sister to Reb'l Fleur, don't believe every comment in here, it's a nice fragrance, if it was Chanel or some other major designer label people would go crazy about it...accidentally sprayed it on my pants (i was sitting) and 9 hours later it still smells amazing, I don't know why the low longivety vote but it isn't true, it's sweet and uplifting, good for all seasons. The bottle is not even close to what it looks like on the photo, the liquid isn't pink, it's translucent and if you hold a white paper behind it will show a little lavender color like liquid, it's an interesting design but without the cap, a heavy bottle and looking very nice on the shelf :) try it, I gotta say, the add fits to the scent, I dare to say, Marilyn Monroe would love it ;)

This is my all time favorite, it's very girly, youthful no any bad bone in it, sweet and playful and my husband loves it the most among all my other perfumes. I bought mine in CW store around 5 years ago it was in pink juice, now it's like clear apple juice color. ♥Scent: I dont pick out much of flowers in it, it's very well blended with fruity vanilla and honeysuckle that's all I can smell though out the entire 8hours wearing it, it's cute and bubbly, and an absolute head-turner! ♥ Longevity on me is solid 8hour+ ♥ Sillage is about arm length or more and you will leave a beautiful scent trail, people are going to smell you even you dont overspray it. ♥ It projects well for the first 4-5hours, and my husband can still smell it on me in the car after my 8hour shift, it's an absolute banger if you can still find it in the store. My 100ml bottle is now half way through, I really do need to repurchase it again, cuz i love it to bits♥♥♥♥

Sweet fruity florals are my absolute favorites, and this is just that. It is the perfect perfume for me, and the scent to me is like eating a comfort food, just that warm fuzzy feeling. I wear this when I don’t want to wear any of my other perfumes, and I usually reach for this one. It is sugary, but not sickly, fruity, but not overbearing, and floral, but not overpowering. It is a very strong fragrance, and it stays a very long time. And oh, the vanilla! I love vanilla in my perfumes, I think it adds a special something, and brings back fond memories. The rum is apparent, but it doesn’t smell alcohol-ish, if that makes sense. The passionfruit is beautifully obvious, but you can still smell other notes, like orange, jasmine, and honeysuckle. I can’t really smell the pink freesia, which is sad, because freesia is one of my top 15 notes ever, but honestly, it is a fantastic perfume, and I got 1.7 oz for 10 bucks, which is a steal!

Absolutely love this fragrance. After I fell in love with my boyfriend's cologne, Euphoria by Calvin Klein for men, I decided to go out and try to find a scent that would make him feel as attracted to me as his made me feel towards him. I tried multiple perfumes but they either smelled soapy or powdery on me, a problem I've found my whole life. I came across RiRi and thought it would be funny if this turned out to be "my scent" as my name is Rhiannon and I used to be nicknamed RhiRhi. Sure enough, I tried it on and loved it. On me it smells like caramel and vanilla, a very thick and creamy scent. The first night I wore it my boyfriend couldn't keep his hands off me and was kissing my neck through the night without even realising it. Fragrances smell different on everyone so obviously not everybody is going to like this one, but for me it works and smells amazing!

I just got this perfume, and it's love at first smell ( sniff ). I also agree with others this is her best perfume, the perfume we have all been waiting for. Riri reminds me of a more mature version of Hippie Princess, also I think Riri is what Mad Potion was trying to be, I'm not hating, Mad Potion is just way too sweet for me, and Riri is just right. The vanilla, rum, benzoin and freesia, with the mandarin, and Passionfruit mixing is just perfect it feels like you are on clouds of whipped cream in a dream you never want to wake up from. Rihanna has done a home run with Riri. I feel like this perfume is perfect for anyone. Riri is a great fall, and winter time day perfume. This may well be my signature perfume in fall as well as One Direction's Between Us. Overall I give Riri a 10/10. This perfume is available on Macys, and HSN.

I think every woman should have at least one sugary sweet perfume in her collection and for me this is it! Unlike other sugary perfumes like Pink sugar which has an immature candy smell to it, Riri has the intoxicating and mysteriously heady note of Rum which gives it an exotic flare. My basic description of this perfume is Sugar cane rum, passion fruit and a vanilla (benzoin) with a slight undercurrent of musk. The rum note separates it from other sugary gourmands giving it an intoxicating yet seductive feel. I personally like to wear this scent when I am going out on a date or to the club. The rum note makes it more of a night time fragrance than a day fragrance for me. The longevity is great as it lasts on me for 6 to 8 hours and the silage can be smelt up to 3 to 4 feet away.

The passionfruit is beautiful and strong. And the rum.. Syrupy.. sweet.. bold. I feel like an absolute snack wearing this perfume🤣 I find it to be sexy too.. Maybe because of the warmth and creaminess of the rum, vanilla and sandalwood fused together to make such a sensual dry down. I like this for warm weather because I feel that fruity scents go well with breezy sunny days? Its good for spring too because of the floral notes that would suit the spring theme well.👍🏻 Maybe Autumn... The creaminess can fit into the "getting colder but not too cold" setting but nonetheless, it's still a fruity fragrance. I absolutely adore this perfume and recommend to people who appreciate a sweet, fruity but creamy scent.

This smells gorgeous! It's boozy, sexy and girlie. I love it. Rihanna has done really well with this one. Reminds me of happy times when I was 18 with not a care in the world, dolled up looking gorgeous in a rum bar sipping vanilla rum with an umbrella in it! The bottle is very feminine. I love the pretty pink colour of the perfume. The glass feels nice to hold in your hand and the attention to detail is lovely. Not enough celebs take care with their bottles, they just chuck it in any old thing forgetting us mere peasants have to have it on our vanity tables! Overall, I really like it. I'll wait till it comes down in price a little and get a bottle. :)

I got the rollerball from fragrancenet. Simple, sweet, feminine, any time, any place, any occasion type of perfume. It's a safe blind buy. If your trying to impress someone, you will smell nice and inoffensive, but you won't really stand out. So this is not a perfume for those wanting to smell unique For me this is great for running errands or just chilling at home. I really love the rum note as well! Edit: I came back to say I'm REALLY digging the rum note and projection from my skin. It's also over 8 hrs later and I can still smell it on my skin so great longevity for me. I decided I will buy the gift set so I can layer this gorgeous scent!!!

This smells like Haagen Dazs rum raisin ice cream and a hint of Luster's Pink Lotion, the pink lotion moms used to do their little girls hair back in the day. After hours it will turn into a skin scent, smelling more vanilla than anything. However, I think that it’s important to have maybe one or two fragrances that turn into light skin scents for intimates moments. This perfume will fool him or her into thinking that your scent is coming from within. Let’s be clear, the longevity is 10/10. This perfume will always be in my collection. Do you guys know if they changed the color of the juice from pink and clear?

I want to bathe in this gorgeous scent! This is different than anything I have ever smelled. It's sweet and fruity with vanilla and a slight musk. The rum note makes it very different. I think this is the perfect perfume for day and night, and for any season. I can see this becoming my signature scent! In addition to the gorgeous scent, the bottle is adorable, and I love that the liquid is pink. The longevity is good (if I spray this on before bed, I still smell lingering traces of it in the morning), and the scent is noticeable but not too strong. Definitely try this if you have not already!

this perfume smells exactly like pink chiffon from bbw like the identical smell I couldn't believe it! I was excited when I bought this because I'm a really floral fruity sweet kind of person and it goes so well with my ph. the only sad part is you'd have to spray a bit more if you really want that smell to radiate off of you lol. its a really light very sweet fruity fragrance that is the elegant perfume replica of pink chiffon. when it settles it smells like straight vanilla its so pretty whereas when you spray it, it smells like an orange sweet tart or a sugary fruit its so yummy!

So addicted to this scent. Something about it reminds me of a scent I smelt in my childhood home. Brings back good memories for me. The sillage is decent, but the lasting power is not very good. 2-3 hours tops on me. I get the passion fruit and I love the vanilla dry down. I got the holiday set which comes with a shower gel and lotion, shower gel smells good and lathers up well, but it does not last very long after the shower. Not a big fan of the lotion, it smells very cheap. Overall I really do enjoy the fragrance, I wear it day or night. I'll most likely repurchase :)

This was an amazing perfume, I was obsessed when it came out. I think it is much sweeter than Pink Chiffon due to the benzoin and passion fruit. Another new dupe imo is Victoria's Secret Passion Flowers (Wild Blooms). I got it for 5.99 and smells much deeper and sweeter than Pink Chiffon, and on my skin it smells closer to Riri than Pink Chiffon does, which smells much lighter and not as sweet. Years have passed by since I first bought Riri and now Im not sure if its gone bad but it smells kinda like Simply Pink Pink Sugar. So im glad I got Passion Flowers.

I am in love with this scent! BUT... I wish the opening lasted longer because it is gorgeous. A tropical combo of passion fruit, rum and vanilla. On me the top only lasts 1/2 hour or so then it drys down to a nice vanilla skin scent. I always test smell, projection and strength on my hubby and his reply was "you smell like a vacation drink"! My thoughts exactly :) P.S. I found this at Ross for 14.99 1.7 oz much cheaper than anywhere else I have seen it so if you have wanted to try this check there, it is more then worth it to me.

Sweet and simple floral. Great for spring/summer. The RiRi perfume is just simple and fun! The bottle is beautiful. The fragrance is versatile and suitable for any age. Need to reapply after a few hours but still a fun perfume to wear. EDIT: Iv'e owned this perfume for a few years now and boy, does this enrich. Ri Ri is much more complex than originally thought. It has a nuance that is quite unique. This is great value for money. It does not project loudly but I can still smell it on my sweater a week later. Love it.

This is to die for!!!! Even in this cold weather 33F it is delicious! So juicy, sweet, with the scrumptious white florals and musk... I thought because of how amazing it is in the summer heat tgat it wouldn’t do well in the cold but I was wrong— the florals give this more depth in the winter and it’s fruity and juicy... oh my it is sooooo gorgeous!!! Nothing about it goes bad after awhile either like with most fruity sweet florals, this is the ideal fruity floral imo.

Rihanna's fragrances never disappoint and RiRi is just another one of her masterpieces. Very vanilla, very sweet, makes me feel delicious while I'm wearing it. I see the notes have a few florals, but I don't detect them at all. I'm mainly getting passionfruit and vanilla. This is such a likable scent that could be appropriate for any age. Side note: I have Riri on one wrist and VS Scandalous on the other and they are identical. :)

Recently bought an unopened 100ml bottle of this from eBay for only $32! The scent is heavenly, it's a lovely floral/fruity scent that isn't cloying at all. I first smelled it at Kohls and instantly fell in love. Sillage and longevity aren't super impressive--it always sits close and I usually get 2-3 hours out of it, but I don't mind that. It smells /so/ wonderful. I'm so glad I bought this!

**My review is for the body mist of this perfume** LOVE IT!!!!! this smells like a yummy rum,vanilla and passionfruit scent on me!! I can't get enough of it!! Silliage is soft but very noticeable and longevity is about 2hrs....I don't mind at all reapplying this either. I have used the actual perfume and found it to be the same for sillage and longevity. A definite repeat purchase for me!

Its a love at first sniff 😍 i bought it because of the comparison to pink chiffon but i can’t remember exactly what pink chiffon smells like because i never owned it but one of my friends used to wear it when i was little For me tho it smells like Velvet Sugar by BBW but without the strawberry they both have a similar custardy vanilla

This perfume is soooo beautiful. This was a love at first sniff. It's fruity, florally and sweet. It's the blend of vanilla, passion fruit, and rum that really stands out, with the florals in the background. This celebrity fragrance is so underated, and it's sad that it's now discontinued and hard to find.

I have mixed feelings for this one. I bought it in winter, but started wearing it just now (in July) because to me it smells very summery. Not my favorite Rihanna perfume, but still good if you like very sweet fragrances, especially the ones where passionfruit stands out in the notes the most.

I bought this one today, and I totally love it!! It's very sweet and very romantic, I can't smell the vanilla or the passionfruit, instead there's something else sweeter, fresh and overwhelming that makes me smile!! :) the bottle is soo pretty and I'm happy to have it

Literally a tropical cocktail in a perfume. And it smells delicious- fun, punchy yet not offensive at all. It is quite sweet, but like the sweetness of a juice as the tart notes balances it out perfectly. I’d probably wear this from spring through to autumn.

I love this but it's not one of my favourites. This compositon could have been almost perfect if it wasn't for the strong powdery character along with the leather-/alcohol scent that could be rum. I wish they'd do an updated version that's better.

Smells sssooo good... very tropical-Escadaish. The Longevity and Sillage could be a little better, but I brought this on Black Friday after Thanksgiving, which is Fall weather so I think it will be better during the hotter days.

I'm not sure why and how this scent reminds me of gucci rush but tad sweeter 🤔 I've purchased this fragnance while it was on sale. Sillage is unfortunately weak but I do enjoy wearing it. * I went through the 30ml in a week*

Get this if you want compliments. Smells much more expensive than it really is and it is much easier to wear than Kilian Love Don't Be Shy. It's weird because I get more compliments wearing this than the pricier LDBS

I Have the pink juice version which i got at burlington, I adore this. Something about this just smells amazing. Theres no coconut listed but i swear its there and it is delicious I only wish it lasted longer. 8.5/10

Smells exactly like Scandalous by Victorias Secret to me. A sweet, fruity smell with a tiny bit of vanilla muskyness(almost undetectable but steers it away from being too fresh/fruity).

Why so many Dislikes? According to me, it's one of her best ones and it amazes me because the notes didn't catch my interest at first glaze.

RiRi is nothing near generic for me,honestly I find it pleasant,well made and beyond celeb quality as most of Rihanna's other fragrances.not as seductive and edgy as rouge or reb'l fleur,not as unique as rebelle.not like soft and intimate nude(which I love the most).not like romantic,easy to like rouge love.it's not similar to other rihanna fragrances.still it's good I believe an outstanding perfume doesn't need to be a very complicated oriental or a vintage smelling chyper;making a different job in floral fruity genre is much more difficult because there are too much nice smelling floralfruitys out there also they have more audiences in various age groups and less tools to make a great creative scent Let's go back to RiRi..it opens boozy,sweet and fruity.I never tried pink chiffon so I can't say wether they're similar or not,but when I first tried it,Britney spears rocker femme was the first thing that came to my mind.they don't share notes.rocker femme is creamy while riri is boozy but I could feel the same intense fruity sweetness.even I thought there's berry here,then I could recognize that it's passion fruit but still It sometimes smells like black berry(like the blackberry note in sweet like candy)which is perhaps for cassis it opens with a detectable rum note for me,blended with passionfruit,like a tropical very sweet,and fruity drink,and I find it really likable.. It's carefree,happy and summery.of course it's sweetness makes it wearable even in fall and winter After some time,fruity sweetness calms down and light florals show up,I can detect honeysuckle in this stage..floral notes add a ladylike quality to the fruit punch,obviously RiRi is not just a childish sweet fruit candy,teenagers will probably love it for it's fruity and sweet opening but rum and soft whisper of middle and base notes give it more dimension..it is easily wearable by young girls also +30 years olds..I like it in opening part and during middle notes but dry down is my best.dry down is mostly the combination of Musky vanilla and soft florals in a creamy base. Since I'm a vanilla lover I've tried a lot of vanilla dominant scents and you know it's not that easy to find a summary vanilla scent so I'm happy to find RiRi Longevity and sillage could be much better.it lasts less than three hours on my skin,it's last hour being a faint skin scent but a couple of more hours on clothes. RiRi is not what I love madly but it's something I like and considering it's price it's a full bottle worthy for me.I love it's bottle,it's heavy and looks different from any other perfume I have.I don't know why color of liquid is pink in photos.mine is a very light lavender However it's not as original and interesting as it's notes may suggest,it's pleasant and trendy.It's not very memorable and could be more exciting IMHO.if I was rihanna,I'd insist on adding more florals,more sandalwood and benzoin,more rum If you like passion fruit and vanilla or are looking for a more mature floral fruity give it a try

Riri second test, daytime, winter still. Well... it’s not the ‘clean one’ anymore. There are no tart fruity edges as the notes would suggest. This comes off on me as a warm rounded fruit (how yuo might smell fruit in ice cream - rounded and creamy) dense, talc powdery smooth scent. I line this up more with scents like the new Byzantine by rochas, maybe mont Blanc signature.. except with the warm rounded talc fruit overlay. I tested riri and crush, both are much of a muchness, in the evening I tested them also, Riri was the clean one which went dry and leaned fresh, dense, and a touch warm. Crush leaned warm from the outset, I got more warmth and fruity roses celeb smells, then it went talc and clean. I really can’t tell them apart easily. If I didn’t have Byzantine and signature... and a few others I suspect I think this would be a good cheap alternative, for now I won’t purchase. For those looking for good longevity both crunch and Riri are fantastic. I sprayed three sprays to elbow of each and they lasted from abuot 7pm until the next morning well. Sillage excellent, I wondered what I was smelling whafting up, impressed I was. Much better than rebelle line. However, my disclaimer is that it’s winter where i am, and in summer I don’t get the same distance out if these scents. Summer seems to cheapen celeb scents in my skin. X

Hello! This was quite unexpected for a celeb fragrance. Wow, delightful. So this is definitely worth trying if you're the type who doesn't like spending a load of money on perfume. I just finished a 50 ml EDP with the light blue juice and honestly loved it. It's not a screaming projection perfume, but you can definitely smell it at arms length. Inoffensive so can wear to work. It starts off as a sweet floral but mainly FRUITY, picking up on a rum mandarin orange, honeysuckle & jasmine. After a few hours it winds down to a vanilla musky scent that you can still smell on yourself which is quite comforting. This is such a lovely SUMMER fragrance because it smells fresh tropical, however it is UNIQUE as it is a tropical perfume that you can wear year round because it doesn't give off beachy sunscreen or heavy. It instead gives light fresh, slightly aquatic which is perfect because it is the middle of the Canadian winter and somehow I'm getting away wearing it. Super versatile perfume. Low sillage and projection but good longevity. 100% worth the try. If you're looking for a tropical fragrance that you can wear in winter, this is it. My body is in -10 celsius, but my mind is in the islands. Thx Rihanna.

I am surprised at the votes for calling this one weak and I myself have a problem with many fragrances fading too fast or being too weak on me, I sprayed two quick sprays to the top of my hand today at Shopper's Drug Mart (who by the way were charging way TOO MUCH for this). Half an hour it was still going strong on a spot where there is no pulse point, which almost never happens to me. I was enjoying this tropical cutie a lot and thought you know, I just might pick this up if I can find a good price.
