Portofino Noir: A Piece Worth the Wait Some fragrances arrive with high expectations—and after waiting four weeks for this to land from Amazon, I can confidently say: it was worth every second. From the very first spray, Portofino Noir is magnificent. The opening is fresher than the EDP version, yes—but fresher in the way that the rolling hills of Tuscany feel fresh at sunrise, when the air is crisp, the cypress trees stand tall, and the scent of lemon groves drifts through the warm morning mist. And let’s be clear—this is NOT watery. Whoever said that below simply didn’t give it the appreciation it deserves. This is depth, richness, and elegance, done with absolute finesse. The bergamot and citrus sparkle at the start, like the first sip of an aperitivo overlooking the vineyards. But then the fragrance deepens—the warmth of spices, leather, and woods unfolding like the golden Tuscan sun dipping below the horizon. There’s an undeniable refined masculinity here, something both sophisticated and effortless. The original fragrance always reminds me of my intense dating in NYC—fast-paced nights, candlelit bars, conversations that lingered until dawn. It was a hit, a scent that commanded attention without demanding it. This version keeps that same magic but adds an Italian elegance—less neon lights, more moonlit terraces, the same confidence but with a touch of old-world charm. The dry-down is where Portofino Noir becomes pure poetry—ambery, slightly smoky, smooth as a well-aged glass of Brunello di Montalcino. It lingers like the echo of footsteps on ancient cobblestone streets, like the warmth of a lover’s touch before parting ways. Four weeks of waiting, and now it’s here. Some scents are worth chasing. This one makes you want to stay.

Got this as a Christmas gift It’s more aromatic than The One EDP, even a bit spicier to my nose in the opening. The drydown is preeeety similar, kinda close. Not 1:1, maybe 75%-80% (with indulgence) there. However, it smells very good on it’s own. It serves the same function and evokes the same vibe as The One EDP. A masculine, well put together man This requires more formal clothing, as it’s a good compliment for when you’re dressed up, and superb for dates. Out of the box, longevity is around 3 hours or so. The first 1-2 hours it projects well enough. So a person sitting next to you can smell you properly. The last hour(s) ends up as a skin scent, and on clothes, it stay a “skin” scent for more than that. I’ll come back later to check on projection and performance changes. I’m hoping for the best. edit: idk what batches people received of this, but now it’s strong, 5-6 sprays and you’re filling out a room. skin scent after 2-3 hours now, but it stays there for 4-5 more hours. being a special occasions frag, I’d buy it myself

Yes, this too was another blind buy thanks to a review on YT. The verdict is that I love it. It is definitely very close to the real deal but the longivety is mediocre at best. It's a very pleasant non offensive smell that feels modern and classic at the same time. I smelled the real deal only after getting this and they are very very close , at least to my nose. I'd say this is blind buy safe depending on the price range. In my case, this was absolutely worth it . The only complaint is the strength in sillage and longivety which doesn't necessarily become a deal breaker if you want to smell awesome in a discrete way.

Based on my first impressions smelling this today at a store. It's amazing. Even just from the atomizer this is undeniably D&G The One EDP. I haven't had the opportunity to smell it on skin but from the atomizer and on paper, the scent is 1 to 1. Nearly perfect. I haven't seen any other clone brand nail D&G The One EDP so well. If you're looking for D&G The One EDP and don't wanna to spend D&G prices, then this could be an excellent alternative for sure.

Cheap, in a good way, but smells expensive and, if you're looking for The One EDP DNA, you can't get much closer. On initial blast, all the elements are there but there is not much longevity and the sillage is fleeting. Gonna give this a chance to settle before giving it the bifters - that'll just be in time for the Autumn, which suits this scent perfectly.

After years looking for a good take on The one epd, finally I've found it. It still misses some notes from the original, like the orange, and it's a little bit fresher, but it's crazy close enough and last longer. It's not the same but It can replace the OG if you're not picky with details. Good quality and It smells fantastic.

What a nice smelling DNA and for its price it's one of the best perfume. Very good sillage ss well . 8/10

Excellent clone of Dolce and Gabbana The One, comes very close!!

Such a unique DNA I like it, about the similarity with D&G the One i think they are a bit different this one is more fresher especially in the opening and could be more versatile since is not very thick as the OG when it settles, longevity and projection not that bad i mean definitely not strong but better than the OG ofc so overall and with that price it's 10/10 great quality scent !!!

Right off the bat smells weak and disappears really quickly. Fast-forward 2 months it's way richer and lasts longer, still moderately tho. U can wear it anywhere and anytime.The scent itself is really nice just give it some time to maturate Fast-forward 2 more months and tis thing is a monster - now its a love!

Weak performance and sillage, but you basically get what you paid for. The coriander and cardamom notes hit you right when you spray it, they smell interesting but can't decide good or bad. Overall don't regret buying it even though there are better dupes to buy out there.

Only just arrived and from the initial 2 sprays on my hand, it smells like a cheap shower gel. Longevity - 30 minutes top Smells nothing like D&G - The One I'm going to give it another couple of sprays, leave the top off it and come back in 2 months..... will update then. I actually went mad and did about 10 sprays and it still vanished after 30 mins. Update 2 months later: Still pish

This is not a perfume, it is a water😶 Don’t waste money!

From this I smell now a very weird note. When I first opened the perfume and used it, it did smell like 80% the one. After some usage of like, days to 2 weeks this no longer smells like that, I get a weird smell that is a bit nutty, dusty, mouldy. I don't know how to explain it, but it's in no way smelling like the one anymore. Im so confused and have no idea what the matter is.
