Tanzanite Bronze

Woody ginger forward scent that grew on me with time, although not easily wearable. It's Not very complex, but for a 20,- EUR scent its quiet good. I just dont see myself reaching for it that often. Not blind buy save.

Disappointing. Ginger is fresh to the point of being so airy it’s hard to detect. What you are left with is a soft sandalwood darkened to the point it is dirty and almost a soft patchouli. I know it’s there but it may as well not be - strange underwhelming performance.

Note: only maturated for a few days so far. The notes suggest this clones Bvlgari Empyr, which I haven't smelt. To preface, this smells extremely cheap/low-quality and generic (smells like it costs $10). Scent profile: this smells like a very generic ginger/bergamot bright shower gel freshie (not marine or aquatic at all btw), but VERY muddled together so that you can't actually pick out any ginger/bergamot without being told and gaslit into smelling the vague idea of it. I need to emphasise - this smells very muddled/muted, low-quality, and a bit screechy; and even a teeny tiny bit funky too. Really smells like a generic $10 freshie from the chemist. I've smelt multiple $10 fragrances at the chemist that smell better than this. It may partly just be the scent profile of this DNA rather than the ingredients used. This may also just need maturation. Will update. A few people mention they smell eggs in the OG because of the suspected ingredient of calone. I don't get eggs in this supposed clone but I can vaguely see how some noses (due to genetic differences) could pick up eggs in this - I get a tiny 3% of the composition as an adjacent smell to the natural funk of cooked eggs that have gone cold, which simply translates to a minor general funk to the bright shower gel composition; too minor to distinguish as an egg smell though but still a slightly noticeable funk.

Tanzanite is a blue-violet color. They're making it sound brown.
