Iris Ambrette

Oh gosh...yum. A delightful aromatic take on iris. This one has my eyeballs rolling way back in my head. Unique in that the iris here is not very powdery but moist and slightly oily. Everything here feels balanced, earthy and so natural. Cedar is light. The vetiver and ambrette are ever present. Lavender shows up later adding a cute little kick to the base. I find I can wear this year round, even in hot and humid weather. Projection is rather light but has a mighty staying power. This is my favorite so far from the house of Rirana. Iris Ambrette is catnip for the soul. Cherry on top was good too!

Forget about L’homme and Dior Homme. This is Iris done beautifully. To me, this one falls right under Florentine Iris, in terms of quality. The iris here is refined, creamy, and delicious. While the ambrette, musk and woody elements keep it from getting sweet. It’s a perfected balance of warmness and freshness. The late dry down becomes powdery as expected, but its tolerable as the scent alone is fantastic. The Zegna is still my number one Iris, but this one comes in close. Best suited for fall.

What a great deal for $30.. If you love makeupy / lispticky iris you definitely will adore this stuff. Good alternative for Dior Homme "vibe" Easy to wear, it's more fresher and less sophisticated not like Dior Homme lines because it doesn't have leather note. Beautifully blended.. No harsh or something bother me. Sillage & projection soft to moderate about 3-5 hours.. My wife really love it on me.. 6-7 hours for longevity on skin... 18+ hours on fabric...

I didn't expect this to be that gorgeous ! Opens with fresh musky cedar, lavender and a bit of vetiver. Dries down to honor its title : sublime, creamy and dreamy ambrette/iris duo. A bit soapy on the edges. Magnifique ! It's very long lasting and projects powerfully on my skin. This is full bottle worthy. Masculine opening and unisex/feminine drydown. Versatile, rich, comforting, cocooning. Hope you get to test it one day.

Just bought Iris Ambrette, what can say the scent almost same as the DHI but this one is when DHI on steroids. More kick and doesn't feel cold/burning effect much when spray on skins. If you're Iris scents fans or persons that love perfume such Bvlgari MIB,DHI, Valentino Uomo Intense this is the one you should buy. Great for formal/date night occasions.

A gem, immediately jumps so many of my fragrances- both in quality and scent.. This one is not a pass- You must smell this..

Dior Homme with a nice hint of freshness. Great stuff!

Trying this as a woman it definitely won’t work for me but it’s a very pleasant scent. I get big time grandpa vibes from it. Something reminds me of tobacco or maybe hay, must be the Vetiver. And that must be where the grandpa association comes from because I don’t recall him ever wearing cologne. I don’t think that association would stop it from being sexy on someone else though. I really enjoy this and might just need to get some for my husband. I mostly only get the Vetiver and lavender pretty much.

the ambrette here is beautifully done, unfortunately in the beginning I get a soapy vibe and i'm not digging that. I'm sure it's the lavender maybe I have had a lot of body care products with lavender such that i find it soapy now. It's gorgeous, the iris is there, the ambrette is there, it smells like a body cream. It's exactly what you'd expect it to smell like. Opening is a bummer for me but the dry down is absolute perfection.

I smell paper, lipsticky alcohol and Iris. Sprayed on skin, it stays more. It screams sweet yet sophisticated 50s women. Mums would love this fs.

when i got this bottle i was excited to sniff the scent of this perfume... but the first sniff turn to be like all scent alredy mix together.... the iris and lavender note in this perfume make it smell like body wash gel or to much soapy....for my opinion if this fragrance has something citrusy or zest note inside it will be perfect... and its not clone to the dior or valentino perfume at all... it has it own scent... it linger on your body around 4 to 5 hours before turn into the skin scent but still noticeable with your own nose... i wear this into hot and cold enviroment and both enviroment it performs good... just its lack of citrusy....

A dry, dusty iris petal with a faint blend of musk and lavender. Not my thing but probably something iris lovers would enjoy. To me this is more of an iris and lavender blend with the ambrette just giving it a musky backdrop. It's not as sweet as you'd expect, probably because the lavender cancels out the ambrette sweetness a bit.

This is an incredibly woody, musky, masculine iris. Would totally recommend for men, but on me, it's not the type of iris I like. Not sure why, I get a little bit of "Jazz Club" (by MMM) vibes in the background as well. Smells like a classy, grounded, mature man.

Really not a fan. Got it in a sample box, never smelled iris on its own so I can't say if it's what I'm smelling but this just smells super soapy and powdery to me, with a splash of lavender. If you're in to that sort of scent you'd probably like this. It has really good longevity and projection, and even though I personally don't like it, I can say it's blended well. I know it's labeled unisex but I see mostly guys reviewing this so maybe it leans more masculine and that's why I'm not a fan?

I’ve only tried Dior Homme Intense from a 10ml sample I bought (and sold off). The batch I got was from 2008 It was too rich and flowery for me. The iris was overpowering (I love Iris btw) Iris Ambrette — despite having the same notes, hits me as a lighter, fresher DHI. It’s much more versatile than the Dior counterpart in my opinion. Scent - 10/10 - Fresh, mature, elegant, powdery, metrosexual Projection - 10/10 - Projects well for 4-6 hours Longevity - 11/10 - Lasts 11-12+ hours on my skin I like this better than Dior ⭐️ Edit: I compared this to Prada L'Homme & they're actually similar to my nose. Prada is airer, fresher, and lighter while Rirana is much denser. However, the way Iris is used here is pretty similar to me!

If you enjoy camphoraceous fragrances, check Iris Ambrette out. I've only smelled a few fragrances with ambrette in them, and ambrette is a quite light scent in my opinion. The ambrette really stands out in Iris Ambrette. The lavender almost takes on blue lavender which is a higher quality lavender oil, and of course you get the iris, which I believe spoils the cooling effect. I'd enjoy it without the iris more, but the iris is the main character in this fragrance, and makes it feel feminine. In the opening, you can definitely smell the alcohol. Iris Ambrette does give off a chic vibe for a conservatively dressed sophisticated woman. Not for me though.

I love iris and ambrette, but I wish they would leave lavender out of it. I like lavender in its own, but the lavender in this and also the lavender in Dior Homme Intense makes it too heavy and gives off a new car scent. It’s good, but it would be better without it.

I live in tropical climate country. This scent makes me feel like I'm on a cool, green mountain. It's like taking a walk in a green forest early in the morning while everything is still dewy. I like this effect on me.

This one hits you with strong in your face iris followed by prominent cedar and vetiver. Lavender and musk is there too. At the 10 minute mark it Kinda smells like valentino uomo intense to me.
