Ehsas Love

The notes absolutely have to be wrong across several websites, and perhaps intentionally misleading to get more people to buy this. This smells nothing like Devotion, to me. The only thing the two fragrances have in common is the citrus. Ehsas Love smells like a strong blast of grapefruit, salt-water, creamy white florals and ylang ylang (with perhaps a touch of vanilla), rose, and sweetened berries. It’s fresh, feminine, and sweet, and manages to be an airy fragrance while having a warmth that smells like salty sun-kissed skin. To my nose, it’s JPG’s Divine EDP with a slight twist and the citrus aspect turned up. It’s a beautiful scent that would really shine in the summer heat. It feels a touch generic (but honestly, I think that’s probably just me nitpicking because when I got this I was irritated that the notes didn’t match the scent almost at all). Performance is moderate overall. It projects well (sprayed once on my hand to smell it again after having it for a month, and my fiancé said something smelled amazing when I walked into the room and was sitting several feet away from him), and it’s overall a good fruity-floral summertime fragrance. As long as you know what you’re actually getting, it shouldn’t be disappointing.

OK at first spray I did not love this, but it truly grew on me... There’s something strange and alluring about it. I am not a Rose lover... Me this almost smells medicinal like Vicks and that is super nostalgic. I just can’t stop smelling myself. I really think this is interesting and unique.

The scent is pleasant, but the panna cotta note didn't work very well in this perfume. If it had caramel, I think it would work better! It's sweet, light... It's nothing like Devotion DG. I'll let it sit for a few more months to try to get a better feel for the lemon note; the first note of the perfume is barely perceptible.
