Najma Nova

Sharp medicinal rose opening, very ambery too. The rose is intense and heady, making this a mature scent and definitely red in my mind. The bergamot adds some freshness along with the apple blossom and pineapple blossom that lasts and it makes this better, and the dates usually smell like ambroxan sour on me (as in all The Dua brand perfumes) so the sour ambery effect here is similar to that in The Dua Amberilicious however they're different scents (the latter has cinnamon, rum, tonka, vanilla, amber, caramel making it more of a Kismet Angel cousin which has cognac - not rum - but it also has cinnamon, vanilla, tonka, amber, honey. Amberilicious and Kismet Angel (so Angels' Share too) are in the same league as Tonka Reminiscence with the labdanum, honey and spices (which has clove and anise plus almond) and distant cousins to Tobacco Vanilla by Flavia or TF without the sour amber and liquor balsamic sweetness. So I'd consider Najma Nova in the same ambery warm-spicy cinnamon category, but it's a different scent than all the above because it lacks rum, cognac and honey notes and because it's so rose centered. Its cinnamon isn't very noticeable to me unlike in Kismet Angel and Amberilicious btw. All the above also lack patchouli which makes them less mature and more gourmand. The patch spice here is intense and hence why its ambery sour patch essence even reminded me of scents like bbw Into the night and VS Very Sexy Orchid minus the black currant berries juicy element of these, however as I said, Najma Nova is a middle eastern warm spicy scent so it only features that patch amber sour quality from these cyclamen, plum, berry, iris, black currant scents. The patch rose, peach and benzoin-tonka here are reminiscent of La Rive Fleur De Femme's sharp rose warmth. The dates and peach in this give it a cherry - like nuance at first, similar to the cherry note in Fleur De Femme which also has peach, rose and patch, but that one is a Poison Girl edp dupe (and similar to Varens d'Orient Amethyst Ulric de Varens (almond, rose, amber, orange, jasmine). It's the typical heavy heady middle eastern balsamic ambery scent but the good thing is it retains freshness just like Kismet Angel does have freshness by its apple pie note that's not listed btw. To me it's not like Khamrah which is syrupy sweet on me, but likewise in the same ambery balsamic spicy woody league. Khamrah lacks rose and patchouli so I'd prefer it. I do like it tho because I love all the spicy warm balsamic or boozy scents I mentioned so one more with rose doesn't hurt.

Someone asked about this and I had to reply. This is very potent and not like anything I have smelled before. Its erba pura pls khamrah plus a floral and strawberry note. Its sweet. I paid £20. At this price, go for it, you won't be disappointed unisex, but possibly too feminine for men

these notes are Khamrah + Madawi, i wonder if its an intentional crossover or an unintentional mistake. Can anyone report on this?

Madawi+Angels share, that's a magical compo. I really want this beauty.
