Sensual Oud

#1349 in my "Tour de Fragrance" When I ordered this I was concerned the raspberry would be too much. I ended up never wearing scents like Louis Vuitton "Ombre Nomade", Tom Ford "Tuscan Leather", Rasasi "La Yuqawam", Montblanc "Individuel", Byredo "Black Saffron", maybe five or six more besides, and gave them away, because after a while their raspberry notes, which always came off synthetic, even in the Vuitton "Ombre Nomade" this sort of copies, and got to be too much for me. I very much prefer this to all of those scents. The raspberry is subtle, doesn't smell like it came out of a kid's chemistry set. It's a nice mild saffron. Just a hint of rose. Westernized agarwood note that you can wear in tight spaces. So if you'd like to wear an incense and oud scent, but find most of them just too oriental for your taste, this is for you. This is a unisex offering. Low price. Attractive bottle. And while it doesn't project aggressively, it's very attractive, well-blended, long-lasting, and draws compliments. You could wear this in the office, but I'd save it for romance. I think everyone will like this scent. Successful blind buy for me and a scent I expect to wear it frequently.

I ordered this as a replacement for Zara Sensual Oud, which has been discontinued 😢 It is a perfect replacement. It's a little edgier, definitely stronger, and I am absolutely in love! If you own MFK Oud Satin Mood and you want less rose. This is it. I use it to rough up my OSM, make it darker and a little nasty! Just like I like my scents. Both are beautiful alone, but together......magic🪄✨️

I have never smelled Ombre Nomade to compare this to. I do however have tons of fragrances and can rate this as its own inspiration. First off bottle and atomizer are excellent. Especially for less than the 20$ I paid. So this fragrance opens up with Saffron,Raspberry, and Incense. You definitely get a heavy incense note. Very heavy Saffron note as well. The Raspberry is there and you can smell it but it is not sweet. As the fragrance settles in you get the Birch and Rose. It's a darker rose not a sweet rose. Geranium helps freshen up the fragrance a bit. It's honestly needed. I get a little oud the whole time. It's an anamalic oud but its not the star of the show. I also get a chocolate vibe as the fragrance starts to develop. I will also add that I believe that Risala hits way above its price range. I have 2 or 3 of their products and all of them compare very well to more expensive options. Sterling owns Risala BTW. 4.3/5. Very good purchase when considering I paid less than 20$. Risala's offerings do not smell cheap. Edit: This low key kinda smells like ant poison.

This is niche profile. Powdery sweet rose with a raspberry touch at the top, supported by a balsamic base, a little boosy too (like a rose liquor). It becomes more addictive as it dryes down. I found some similarities with Toy Boy from Moschino, being like a tunned down version (rose is not so proeminent and is not beast mode like that one too). A little more for the feminine, so is not for every man tastes. I like it a lot.
