Surur

Got this at a great price LAST YEAR- after smelling the tester at a local store. Came home and put the box aside, thinking I would open it later OR use it as a gift. Decided to open it a few days ago and I really like it! It's just a soft, warm and very pretty floral. I'm so glad I didn't gift this! I had forgotten exactly how it smelled (but I bought multiple fragrances on that date- and I honestly just remembered that it was "pleasant" - also, I go nose blind pretty quick when testing multiple fragrances in-store). I have a lot of fragrances, but I think this is quite lovely and a steal at the price I got it for. Now that I have opened it and sprayed it a few times - I expect it will mature and get more potent. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out after a few months. * I paid around $29 The bottle is solid and attractive - it has a pretty cap aswell. I see there are no actual fragrantica user "photos" posted - will try to post one shortly! BTW- this reminds me of my Otoori Musk Taher Powdery by My Perfumes (which I adore) - Musk Taher Powdery is more powdery and less floral. The Otoori Musk Taher Powdery bottle has a similar shape to Surur (but the Otoori Musk Taher Powdery bottle is more delicate).

I just received this today, so this is solely a first impression. On first sniff, I mostly got a floral scent, albeit, a “bright” floral, which may come from the grapefruit, but I didn’t get a distinct grapefruit or citrus note. I’m not sure what the white blossoms are exactly but I do get faint ylang ylang giving it a slightly tropical vibe, perhaps a little jasmine or honeysuckle. I can’t quite put a finger on it. It starts to develop into the warm woody and amber notes which are gorgeous! I’m not sure if this scent will mature into something else like many other middle eastern scents, but this is good from day one. I’ll add an edit if things change significantly. This is a great buy, and will be an easy reach for me! Update- a week and a half later, this is really becoming one of my favorites! Such a beautiful scent for the spring season! Love it! Update 2-a month later, Gosh! I absolutely adore this fragrance!! It creates the most beautiful scent bubble, yet isn’t overpowering! It lasts all day! It’s like fresh cut flowers! Yet is done in such a beautiful way that it won’t be too much for those who don’t like a lot of floral notes! Grab it! It’s beautiful! I got mine from Jomashop for a great price!

I blind bought Surur because I found it at a great price on Amazn. First of all, the bottle is pretty. Now, if there is a note I don’t like at all is TUBEROSE. That said, as soon as I sprayed it, to my inexperienced nose, it reminded me of the L'Interdit - Givenchy line. Surprisingly I did like it. It smells clean and put together in a different way that I am used to with clean musky fragrances. It doesn’t mention tuberose in the notes but the white florals to me smell like the sweetness of tuberose, almost bubble gum to me. It doesn’t NOT give me a headache so that’s a plus. It’s potent, and since I am allowing myself to experience tuberose with this perfume, I do only two atomizations and it lasts for a long time. I feel this could be an everyday perfume for work or just going around all day.
