Fuyu D'Or

I feel like Rituals perfumes have to be left for a week or two after the opening spray, in order to get the scent you smelled inside the shops. But oh, they're SO well done. Really rich, complex, sophisticated, oriental... The opening of it is kind of spicy, with the yuzu notes, simultaneously accompanied by an amber note. I'm generally not into citrusy smells, but after a few minutes, the ylang ylang comes off, sweet, HOT, sexy, sultry, dominant, it lingers so well, making it an almost skin-like smell. And when it actually lingers ! You get some almost gourmand, creamy-flower notes, that you wanna smell AGAIN AND AGAIN. It actually helps me sleep; and it smells different on everyone, depending on the Ph of your skin. For this reason, and bc it's not your typical generic feminine fragrance, I don't think this is a safe blind buy. It's original, unique, sweet but not "cookie/vanilla sweet" (although i do love this kind of scent...) but once your nose gets used to it, it's addictive. My boyfriend was like "meh" at first, but i sprayed it again a week later and he was like "THAT smells GOOD". Honestly I've never smelt anything like this before but I would love to find one as this is a limited edition. My fav at the moment. Edit 4 months later : now that its had time to sit, the ylang and amber rly take the main spot. It is HYPNOTIZING. I can’t get tired of it and will somehow manage to get another bottle man idc

This is the first Rituals perfume I have ever bought. I was not known with the brand. I only kept buying the Hammam fragrance sticks and the body set and body mist. I absolutely loved that line. So one day I decided to jump into the store and try all of the fragrances. I kept smelling one after one until I smelled this one and my first impression was: WOOOOW!!! I had never in my life smelled anything like this. It is ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. I immediately knew that this was going to be my new signature fragrance. You could absolutely smell the amber embracing the beautiful Ylang Ylang. I didn't know what Ylang Ylang smelled like until I got to know that this fragrance contains Ylang Ylang. Now Ylang Ylang is one of my favorite notes. After I found out that this fragrance is a limited edition I immediately bought 4 more bottles as a back up. I don't want to wear this fragrance that much because im scared of running out :( I must say that my brother didn't like this fragrance on me at all, but my mom loved it so much so I bought a bottle for her as well. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL Ps: all the rituals fragrances have an amazing village + longevity!

This was my first purchase from Rituals, having discovered the brand on the same day and falling in love with their fragrance collections. My immediate reaction to this was 'gentle, professional, impeccably clean'. An excellent fragrance for work and professional contexts. As I mentioned, this is a very 'clean' smelling fragrance that makes you feel like you've just walked out of a luxury spa. Floral and subdued without excessive sweetness. There are no distinct 'sharp' notes; this is what I would describe as a 'quiet' fragrance. As most reviews have mentioned, this is a very sophisticated, deep scent that feels more like a sensory experience than a fragrance alone. The bottle looks great on my shelf. I always wear this fragrance when I want to make a confident, put-together impression.

This opens to a subtle citrus blast which comes from the yuzu cord. I never had yuzu but in Fuyu it smells close to satsuma. After 30min. the ylang-ylang takes centre stage which becomes very rich when the amber shows itself. The ylang-ylang mix with the amber sometimes smell like caramelised banana and fresh warm pastries, which for me is addictive. I personally like this fragrance. This is a fresh, sweet fragrance. This fragrance might get too sweet when over sprayed so careful with the nozzle. Perfect for winter and perfect 15ML. size! This is currently one of my everyday fragrance at the moment which I can take and re apply if needed. It lasts a lot longer when sprayed on clothes.

Very lovely; bright ylang and yuzu is all I smell, lasts around 2-3 hrs from a full bottle that's macerated for almost half a year. Love this profile in warmer weather, low sillage, very much a skin scent.
