No. 17 Vetiver & Bergamot

Something really wierd happend when i tryed this. Like if i turned into a little girl, smelling 4711 for the first time, but now i was standing there all middleaged with my daughter beside me, this was stronger! This was traumathic! So i left the store without buying anything. Then we walked with no goal in the mall.. I asked my daughter "-so, isn't this perfume really really Really something?" She aswered "-mjeee" with great lack of interest. Something snapped, and I turned around and walked as fast as i could towards the Rituals store and bought it. It got a spell on me . Therefor im not sure if im able to be critical enough to write Anything negative about this perfume. The love for scents was again woken. The child inside me just gazed like a Beatles fanclub. I have no idea how this happend, im stunned.

It's a strong citrus scent, but very fresh during spring and summer. This is like a contemporary take on the classic cologne theme, with steroids added to the citrus notes. Longevity isn't even that bad, with about 5/6 hours. Sillage is soft to moderate, but it does radiate a bit so I voted moderate.

Just found out it's going to be discontinued so bought a new bottle in advance...but why stop making such a nice fragrance? Longivity is beter than Tom Ford's !

What a marvelous fragrance !!!!!!

How is this possible? A perfume of such a quality with natural ingredients that is just € 35,-. This perfume opens with that typical citric-woody scent that reminds me of one of the most well know Eau de Cologone 4711. But then it changes to a fresh-aromatic scent in which the vetiver is prominent. Later on it changes back into the vetiver. The longevity and sillage are excellent. This is an EdP with some beautiful notes. for some it will be to sharp which is due to the citric oil that is used. Wear it on casual occasions and on not to hot days. This is a nice perfume with some class.

There is a lot of neroli in this, in my opinion. Very nice scent. A bit 'simple', but very nice.

Tried it: starts fresh (not citrus-fresh, just fresh) and clean, then becomes (on me) a little soapy, but pleasant (a good soap), then still fresh but a little more soft. The main experience, for me, is a soft, simple and clean smell. Not sweet nor floral in any way, just slightly woody but not much. I would not call it a masculine scent. Rather an unisex fragrance. Not what I usually look for in perfume, but could be pleasant in hot days when my normal kind of fragrance is too much. I would buy it if cheaper :) Edited to add: after a few (6-8) hours, the slightly woody note that appeared on me had dissipated, but if I bring my wrist to the nose, the fresh soap smell remains. Nice, but too far from my taste for me to buy it at regular price.

Is there any difference between this and No.06 Green Bergamot & Vetiver? I already own No.06 and must say it's quite decent and long lasting given the price.

THIS STUFF WAS SO AMAZING ! smelled super sophisticated ! unfortunately they don't sell it anymore..
