Océan Infini

I wanted a fresh aquatic fragrance as it is now summer and I have none in my collection! Tested this last summer but didn't get it. I passed by the rituals store the other day too and tested it then but wasn't sure if I should get a full bottle. Got back home and looked up on fragrantica - there were mixed reviews about the longevity and sillage. Finally, I went to the store today and bought a 15ml travel bottle to try out and decide for myself to see if it is full bottle worthy. I love this scent - sea water, white musk, pear and lily of the valley what a lovely combination and so addictive! But it doesn't last long, maybe have to reapply a few times during the day? Which is the only annoying thing about it. However with a travel bottle you can bring this along in your handbag and top up during the day and know that you are not overspraying with about 4-6 spritzes making you feel refreshed and delightful! I may be tempted to get a full bottle very soon! update: I bought the full-sized bottle a few weeks ago and can now spray freely!

Another nice clean marine scent !!! I am glad I found something that is on the same category as Ocean di Gioia from G.A !!! It’s a naturally sweet & aquatic Nashi Pear, followed by a clean & fresh floral note with the Lily-of-the-valley, and to give it this even cleaner aspect, you get a subtle and beautiful white musk ! It’s definitely less mature than Ocean di Gioia because there’s no woodsy notes such as the Sandalwood in OdG. It is really classy, feminine and perfect for summer if you’re a pear enjoyer ! It lasts in a pretty decent way, my sillage surprised me because when I tested it on my wrist, during the following hours I had scents of my fragrance coming up to my nostrils at each movements I made ! The quality of the blend, the bottle, the box and the overall design makes me believe that it’s niche quality. Really affordable price point as well, I payed only 45€ for a fragrance of this quality. If you’re into clean, marine & aquatic scents, this is the one you need to test ;) 9,5/10 love love love this fragrance !

Beautiful marine scent. Doesn't have the stingy, sharp note that sometimes makes marine scents repulsive to me. I think it's the pear note that softens the edges. To me this is a lovely skin scent with moderate longevity. First notes are fresh, drydown softens into salty sea water warmed by the sun. About comparisons with Davidoff Cool Water, my take is that Océan Infini is much softer and more delicate. To me it means it's much more wearable. Very beautiful reviews down below mine. I agree very much!

I received this fragrance as a gift. It smells wonderful, I love aquatic perfumes and I can't wait to use it in the hot summer! It will definitely stand out in that weather. This is how I imagine a relaxed scent for a holiday or a scent that invokes "summer&sea" mood if you know what I mean :)

I love this scent from their line. It reminds me a bit of Chanel Chance (green). It's very clean and aquatic. I just think it feels refreshing to smell. I really like this scent but I do not think I will repurchase since I have better bottles that have similar profiles.

The pear note is very potent here, i feel some flowers, not exactly Lily of The Valley how it s listed here. This scent is refreshing with enough sweetness, not a plain aquatic, really beautiful and feminine, more feminin than Light Blue from DG, perfect for summer.

Such a banger of my collection. I feel like I can reach for it at any given time and it will be a win. It's fresh, light, very polite yet present. A very translucid and elegant scent, it's like the sun trought a glass of the cleanest water you'll ever drink.

Such a nice perfume, it really is perfect for being near the ocean. Refreshing but also undertones of sweetness, could be worn by any gender but it is slightly more feminine. Free, young, girl next door vibes.

I absolutely love this! I can't get enough lately. It's a beautiful fresh, floral aquatic on me. Sadly it only lasts maybe an hour on my skin. It's really refreshing and beautiful though 😍

bought this very recently, and it smells so good. it has a clean or refreshing type scent. thought it does get a bit sweeter after an hour or so for me. it only lasts long on my clothes.

clean and summery scent, very smooth and long-lasting

A simple aquatic summer perfume featuring powdery floral note and sweet fruity note. The opening smells just like any other perfumes featuring aquatic notes, fresh and clean, nothing special. Nothing sharp to my nose, but slightly citrusy. I can understand that a lot of people would say "I have smelled it before". It develops pretty fast on my skin. I soon get some powdery floral note with green nuance. I wanted to say lotus, but I also find it somewhat sweet, which make me think of geranium. According to Rituals website, it is Lily-of-the-valley. The juicy fruity pear adds more sweetness to it, but in general it remains fresh. Anyway, unfortunately, I cannot handle white flowers, so once the floral note comes up, I start feeling nauseated. This is an easily wearable perfume for summer, leaning to the feminine side. It is clean, fresh and watery.

I really enjoy this one! I'm quite picky when it comes to perfumes because overly sweet or strong scents give me a headache. I've seen some reviews that describe this as unisex leaning masculine, but on me it doesn't smell masculine at all. It smells fresh and aquatic but with a little sweetness to it in the dry down, it's a very inoffensive scent that is perfect for work and casual spring and summer days. The only downside for me is its longevity, or lack there of. After about 3 hours it's completely gone. Which is to be expected because it's just a Rituals perfume, but it's kinda disappointing none the less.

Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this does lean quite masculine to me. I don't have a problem with that so would say that, depending on your own preferences, it can be very unisex! As a whole, the perfume sort of opens with musk and ends with a vaguely marine accord. That being said, I'm not sure I'd really be able to pick out any individual notes with this one. It's an inoffensive, nice scent but not anything unique. Rituals isn't exactly known for its longevity but I find this perfume particularly weak in that regard. A shame as I otherwise might have repurchased as an interim summer scent!

If I hadn't known that this was a different perfume my initial reaction would have been that I was smelling Cool Water for women. Admittedly it has been a couple of years since I last smelled that, but the initial impression was so strong that I confess I was a little disappointed - if only because I am on the hunt for a "new" aquatic! Don't get me wrong, I like Cool Water and it was my go-to summer scent for years, but I simply fancied a change to something more subtle and less ubiquitous. It seems my search continues...

The opening actually captures the salt note of the ocean very nicely. Fades into a more sweet and and generic smell afterwards, with the salt note only being noticeable if you sniff your own wrist with the intensity of a food motivated dog trying to locate a hidden treat. That said, the sweeter, softer, slightly citrus-y note is still very nice

This is really likeable and reminds me a lot of Acqua di Gioia (or even Acqua di Gio). Unisex. Performance really bad, and that's a shame because I really liked the scent. I don't get how citruses are not on the notes list...

I got this for my brother. I think it definitely leans male. I find most male perfumes too much. I think this is an excellent everyday perfume for men very fresh without being too citrusy or cologne like.

So so delicious, in a very fresh way. its actually exactly like i have imagined it would smell,before i bought it.. A perfect aquatic scent., very calm but still strong, if that makes sense..

Beautiful aquatic, fresh and slightly sweet, no disturbing « marine »note. Airy, sunny, uplifting and unisex.

Very fresh and pleasant scent. Reminds me of walks by the ocean when sun is shining and life is enjoyable.

Edit: Actually I don’t like this at all anymore, it’s becoming more and more masculine with age, as I said before ’wet cotton t-shirt’ It was super fresh and feminine leaning when I first tried it at the store, I really loved it, now I don’t know what has happened. Seems to be the case with other Rituals perfumes too, my sister had one, can’t remember which one .. maybe it was Fleurs de L'Himalaya, which now just smells like a dusty attic.. So sad. I loved this when I first bought it, thought it would become my signature scent. First 30 minutes after spraying it is really fresh and citrusy (?) and leaning more female, but after those 30 minutes it’s becoming more masculine, all I can smell now is ’wet cotton t-shirt’ I still kind of enjoy it though.

Purchased for my partner, she liked it. I liked it also, but performance is nonexistent even with a decent atomizer. The smell disappears by the time you leave the house and I'm not even talking skin scent, just gone! If your willing to reapply this every 30 minutes then maybe worth buying. If they can keep this dna but with better performance then it might be a winner. It's a simple but fresh juicy smell perfect for high heat and the travel size makes is great for holiday.

surprisingly masculine to my nose! not what i expected when i saw pear, musk and lily of the valley, but then again "sea water" is a fantasy accord and could mean anything. i'm definitely getting something spicy and citrusy in addition to the saltiness and aquatic tones. smells good but it does lean masculine, or at best unisex, so be aware if that's not the kind of scent you're going for

Lost all it's freshness on the skin immediately, can barely smell any marine notes. Can feel it on for about an hour or two? Lasts a bit longer on clothes, and I've been told that the aftertaste still lingers after a whole day out but I can't smell it. You definitely won't have a headache. For the price it's not that bad but it really depends on how it shows up on your skin.

This perfume smells so citrusy to me, and very perfumey (i dont know how else to put it) i can’t really smell anything super oceany, mayyybe a bit of floral

kind of ok. rituals perfumes have the worst longevity. i dont like aquatic notes at all but this is pleasant.

Don't bother getting this; it barely lasts. Better off getting a body mist or just anything cheaper.

Fell in love with this instantly, it was exactly what I was looking for last summer, an ultra fresh aquatic scent, perfect for hot summer days. Salty enough to layer it with extra sweet scents, it adds balance to almost every fruity scent I own. It can definitely be unisex but to me it leans more feminine, I cannot sense the pear listed in the notes here no matter how hard I try, I can sense the musk in the drydown though. Longevity could have been better but I paid €50 for a 50ml bottle so I’m not complaining. Perfect for beach days or when I wanna smell good in the summertime without getting a headache.

Tested this a few times. After a fresh opening, I get a acidic, flowery-fruity drydown. Not quite what I'm looking for as a lover of aquatics. I found Soleil d'Or to be a more true aquatic and overall more pleasant. Purchased the latter and didn't regret.

This just smells like opening a champagne bottle on a boat, while the sun is beaming. I love this scent. If you love aquatic scents, definitely try this. It sadly does not last long on me at all, maybe 2 to 3 hours.

Airy and slightly sharp start (similar to pure breeze of himalaya from 4711) with creamy and clean drydown (like Nivea). Very beautiful. fresh and feminine

One of the better freshies for women at Rituals collection. Reminds me of Light Blue Forever (women) by Dolce & Gabbana.
