Rituals of Ayurveda

The opening is very fresh, but still filled with florals. I'm usually not a fan of roses in fragrances, but here it presents itself a bit differently; It's a very playful one, the type of rose that gives depth to the scent. After 15 minutes it becomes a bit soapier, but still sweet and even a bit citrusy? However that's very faint. It doesn't smell like a detergent, but does remind me of a spa. I don't see a problem with that association, I think that people around you would also find that scent intoxicating instead of cheap. The atomizer is very strong, but I also think it's a good thing. Generally my to-go scent when I'm staying at home or am straight out of the shower. More feminine than unisex, however not a stereotypical female floral scent. Any age could wear it, but it's still more of a young scent instead of mature. 8.5/10, a bit too pricey for that simplicity, but the formula is still good.

At first, in the cloying heat, I didn't like it. The rose scent was too "velvety" to me and the whole experience was too complicated for a sunny hot day. Now in the cold, it works amazingly: the rose has a soft and luxurious feel to it and the honey brings some calm warmth to it. I was sipping chai on the sofa and this was perfectly complementing the mood. I like it a lot, heartwarming cheapie if your expectations are in line with what it is (an affordable body mist).

if Rituals ever made an eau de parfum out of this smell i will be buying it by the litre!! smells amazing and also has almond oil inside which makes it even smoother and more balanced , not so sweet due to the honey! im buying this over 3 years and love the smell. Classy and appropriate for every time of the day , everyday lasting power is 0 unfortunatelly , i cant smell it after 2' i have it sprayed on my hair. sillage is barely there ... PLEASE MAKE IT AN EDP!!

Perfect flowery sweet scent, very rose like to me, feels like im walking in a nice garden. I bought it for my mom and she also likes it. I also keep a travel version of it in my bag to freshen up, though i dont have to use it really, cause the scent lasts so long that a few sprits in the morning last the whole day.

The best rituals scent in my opinion. I can’t even describe how much i like this, it’s my absolute comfort smell <3 sadly it really doesn’t last long though :( If there was a perfume that smells like this: I WANT AND NEED

Very earthy rose smell, I love it a lot. I don't have this specific fragrance, but I have other products from Rituals with the same exact scent. A friend of mine is a huge fan of this specific scent from Rituals.

it smells expensive. pairs very well with the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. i've repurchased so many times because i love the scent so much!! very flowery, yet elegant

I really really love the scent. Flowery with slight of yummy sweet from the almond. Smells comforting. Longevity sucks tho :( I wish they will create the perfume version

I believe its my favourite smell of all. I am literally addicted. But I dont buy this because it dissapears in an hour. Let me know of perfume alternatives 😅

This is such a beautiful and special scent. Im just in love with it! Doesn't last so long and causes addiction so the bottle will get empty quickly.

This brand literally has the best smelling mists, oils, and body lotions. This is my favourite body mist of all time, but the longevity sucks.

picked up the body oil in Europe. the sweet almond is so addicting... i love putting this after a night shower to just aromatically unwind

smells nothing like their body lotion. very disappointing

I have this as a dry oil because I was scared of all the mixed reviews. Also I didn't like the shower foam of it. However, as a dry oil it smells lovely! This is extremely sweet, it reminds me of Haribo bears honestly. On the skin it goes much more in the direction of silky rose and loses a lot of this sweetness. I actually enjoyed the Haribo scent of it and first loved it but I am not sure it cooperates well with my skin chemistry. Must test it further. This oil will be surely used up but I am not certain if I will upgrade my Ayuverda collection.

It's much stronger than body spray and can definitely be worn as a perfume. It's also a safe blind buy. I have never encountered a rose perfume that sat well with me. They're usually too sour and overpowering, whether it's the spicy Roses de Chloe or even the subtler Roses et Reines by Loccitane. I think ritual of Ayurveda has mastered the art of blending rose into perfumes. They have added sweet honey and something fruity to neutralize that disgusting sour note that plagues so many rose perfumes.

I have all the shower oils and lotions from the Ayurveda collection, it is so freaking good!! I have never smelled anything like this, the mixture of rose, almond and honey is so rich and yummy!🍯🥀🌰 But i wish i had a perfume that smelled like this! But i can’t find any perfumes that are even slightly similar :( If anyone has some recommendations pleas post them here🙏

nurturing and comforting, smells like honey but not in a super gourmand way: kinda getting incense from this as well, which makes it reminiscent of a massage parlor. i prefer the body oil, since it has better projection and longevity. type of scent thats perfect to apply while getting ready for dinner after a day at the pool. fancy hotel vibes

This is definitely one of my favourite ritual fragrances. It is fresh and slightly sweet. It is a fragrance I would wear if I want to feel very clean and fresh, like after taking a shower. The price is pretty good and the fact that it is available is practically every rituals store is also a plus!

It doesn't really smell like rose to me. It smells like a spicy warm sweet tea. Not really chai tea but really similar. I see it as a fall scent wore somewhere cosy

One of the cult Rituals. Gentle and sensual rose and almond oil, not honey I think. It is a very relaxing and seductive scent enhancing the body care nicely

Very nice and sweet scent. To me it gives arabic perfume perfume vibes without the overpowering feel that most have so its a slight safe blind buy.

smells like a sweet and delicate watermelon in the best way possible. the scent of roses appears after a few hours and is very faint

Love this as a spring evening scent for something casual. Sits very close to the skin but has a beautiful, almost seductive smell.

It’s arabic-like and elegant, smells like a bazar in winter, ablaze with burning incense.

The other products in this line (lotions, scrubs, soaps etc) have my favourite scent for products. I adore the smell of them. But this falls short. If anyone has a recommendation for a perfume that smells like the rituals ayurveda products, please let me know 🥲 It’s not a bad scent, just a little lackluster (even for a body spray).

smells a bit weird but reminds me of sweet clean laundry, longevity and sillage are horrible just like any other rituals perfumes so I'd recomend purchasing a body cream of the same scent to slightly improve those flaws. personally I think this scent is great for all year round, day and night.

I kind of like it, and WANT to like it - but this is way to strong and sweet. Very sweet smell of caramalised almonds. Love the honey and rose in here, but the almonds ruin this perfume for me... Very long longevity tho!

Rituals scents tend to hit right, and Ayurveda is not an exception. It's a floral that thanks to the honey is very homely and comfortable. This is a scent that would fit anyone, without it being unoriginal.

The notes gave me hope as I love both rose and honey, but this only gave generic rose room perfume, the kind that comes in a bottle with sticks. And of course it doesn't last

It smells like 40% rose, 40% watermelon and 20% pure granulated and screechy sugar. If you're used to more high-end perfumes, don't buy this one.

I used to enjoy this and I finished a whole bottle but now that I got another bottle it smells strange. Like it has a sour smell in it, at first it reminded me of ketchup and it still kinda does. Idk what happened but my nose started smelling it differently than before

I don't understand this scent at all, every time I try to smell it, it just smells like cucumbers to me, no roses, no honey, just so weird

Based on the notes, I should love everything about this. But I do not. This is just awful. I don't know how they could mess up rose and honey this badly. Yet somehow I continue to see it on shelves, so I guess it must be appealing to someone.

Sweet sunny rose. To too loud, not too light. Sunny and mild, crystallized like a flower candy with a powdery undertone. My children love It, it’s a reassuring fragrance. You know, this « security blanket » (we call it « doudou ») maternal and comforting ? This is this kind of feeling. Even for myself. Adults can also need to hide under the covers. So I’d say, stop complicating your life, keep cool and enjoy.

I think this is walking a fine line between a bitter rose and a clean fresh scent. It's good for after-shower wear, though you will get limited projection. It's a pretty mature scent, but not much dimension to the fragrance -- it's pretty flat. You'll get rose, rose, and rose with maybe a drop of honey sometimes. I got it as a present and I probably won't be getting a second when I'm done.

To be precise- I have the dry body oil, not the perfume. There is something addictive about the scent of that oil. It makes me want to take a bite out of my arm after applying it. If I apply it after the evening shower, it is the first scent that greets me when I get out of bed in the morning. My partner thinks it’s a sweet scent, but all I think of are sweet almonds.

This is a review of both the Rituals of Ayurveda body oil and this one (since I usually use them in combo, the smell is at least in my oppinion the same in both): This is my go-to scent for after showering before bed when I want to smell lovely but a spray of something else would be too overwhelming. The smell is lovely opulent rose and honey.

Underrated. Romantic and elegant and has a twist to it. Hard to pinpoint the notes. Beautifully made. Each rituals perfume brings to mind something specific to me, like a place. This makes me think of like an Indian spa, overgrown with plant life in a very artistic and poetic sense. In the jungle. Worth buying

This smells like a rich person to me, I don't even know why - maybe because Rituals products are not super cheap. I love this scent and really wih they would make an EDP. I would bathe myself in it if I could. Pair it with the body oil from the same line. It’s divine and makes the smell stick for longer.

I don’t get much rose or honey from this perfume. It’s a sweet musk with a slight floral undertone. Almost like cherry cough syrup, if it weren’t for the musk. I took one sniff and knew I needed it.

My mother loves it. The scent is nice and creates great character. I was shocked that it's just rose + honey...i thought at the beginning that there is something else !

Is this the same scent as the body cream? That one has a delicious almond note that is not listed here, though.
