Rituals of Sakura

This scent opens with a sweet, powdery musk—soft and creamy, like rice pudding. As it unfolds, a delicate cherry blossom accord emerges, never sharp or overpowering. There’s no greenness or aquatic quality to this fragrance. The powderiness isn’t vintage or talc-like, but light and airy—like petals dusted in softness. Think of it as powdery in the way fabric softener is: gentle, clean, and comforting. Purified softness. It’s an intimate fragrance that stays close to the skin, quietly whispering femininity and warmth. It doesn’t last long, but it offers a soft, light sillage for about an hour. I absolutely adore this fragrance—such an effortless, easy reach. Backup-bottle approved (in fact, I have four!).

This is a very pretty, feminine and dainty scent. Always gets me lots of compliments like "you smell so fresh" and "you literally smell like spring flowers" - (my favorite comment from best friend hehe). It's light and inoffensive, sometimes I like layering it with a stronger floral fragrance and I'll usually spray this in my hair (no it doesn't make your hair greasy) because it just adds the perfect amount of flowery freshness. Also perfect on it's own for everyday - it's quite subtle that way tho, so if you prefer a more noticable fragrance then I would recommend layering this like I mentioned before.

I had the body cream. This perfume smells heavenly. Sexy, classy, feminine, I feel like an absolute queen when I'm wearing it. It's just the right combination of clean, musky, powdery, and pink floral scent that is very well-rounded. It's never offensive to the nose, never annoying or cloying. Very very well done. Sadly they don't ship perfumes internationally from their website because of airline regulations about flammable goods. If you find yourself close to a ritual store, it is 100% worth a sniff. I remember it being reasonably priced as well.

Very simple yet lovely floral, zero sweetness, just fresh. and straightforward. This would be perfect for layering to give it some more depth since it's obviously not very complex. I can see this combined with woody/herbal elements for colder seasons or sandy/aquatic or green for summer/spring. Do feel like on a bright and simple sunny day this can also stand by itself. Just a very clear and nice smell, although zero lasting power and silage since it's actually not a perfume. Very easy to like though! Good formulation

A lovely Dutch ex of mine gifted me with this perfume (it's a body spray but has the sillage and lasting power of a perfume). When I first sprayed it all over myself before bed, I could still smell it in the morning after quite an intensive night with that lovely ex. I still spritz this on myself on the rare occasion. It envelops me in a cloud of rice powder and a whirlwind of cherry blossoms, and for a moment I'm back in his loving arms, young, carefree and madly in love.

it's kind of sweet and soapy, has the same vibe of BBW Japanese cherry blossom line, but unlike BBW's this smells actually floral rather than straight up cherry, it's more natural smelling, I like it, I usually find cherry blossom scents boring, but this is not, it's different, it's a powdery floral, very clean and refreshing. *note: it's one of the few fragrances that trigger my hay fever, so be wary if you have allergies .

I had the Sakura body mist, body lotion, shower foam a couple of times, these are the highlights of my wellness routine! The light, floral scent is so girly and nice! However, the body mist is truly very light. I am thinking of getting the dry oil, maybe that will be more long-lasting. Until then my recommendation as a perfume alternative: Shiseido Ever Bloom is a perfect choice with much better sillage and longevity!

It smells amazing, has a very natural refreshing sweet flowery sugary smell. BUT no alcohol! DOES NOT LAST AT ALLl!!! The only way to smell it is if you put your nose onto the skin. Also horrible price and durability. 22 euros for 50ml that has 0 projection is CRAZY. This lasted me 2 months but keep in mind that i barely used it just so i wouldnt finish it. If you were to use it regularly it would prob last 2-3 weeks.

I don’t know any rituals scents that I don’t like, they all smell so good. Sakura is one of my favourites. It’s a fresh light soft sweet smell that reminds me of spring💐 The longevity is unfortunately really bad. If I want it to last longer I pair it with the foam and bodylotion but this doesn’t last the longest either. I would probably buy a perfume that lasts longer and smells the same!

I'm beginning to think that Rituals enjoys and actively engineers their fragrances to not last beyond 20-30 minutes just to keep us buying more. Because this as an eau de parfum would KILL. I've loved this scent for years, and continue to love it now, but its crappy longevity makes me want to boycott this damn company. So, I've stopped repurchasing. Overall 6/10

Somewhere between classy and girly, it’s what an elegant spa with pink accents would smell like. I feel like there’s a bit more here than what is shown. While it’s fresh / herbal it has a bit of a lactonic / gourmand quality to me - maybe milk, almond milk, rice, and/or tea notes? Reminds me of the way a baby doll smells as well. Absolutely lovely!

I love this delicate scent. Although it’s inspired by cherry blossom, I feel there’s much more going on.. soft rice notes, maybe even a creamy, milky nuance that gives it a comforting glow. At times I even catch a hint of cherry fruit itself, a little sweetness on top. It’s gentle but memorable, and the more I wear it, the more I love it.

I didn’t expect to love this so much. She is so gentle and peaceful, lasts much longer than expected. Tried in store and on my bus ride home I couldn’t stop wondering what the beautiful scent was, only to find it was me! Perfect radiation for my trip to Japan. Not offensive to others but noticeable enough to boost my mood. Just adore it.

Really clean, feminine floral scent. I love wearing it on it’s own as it gives this fresh and girly feeling, but I think it would also be amazing for layering with other floral perfumes. It doesn’t last that long on skin, but when I spray it on clothes it lasts few days. Really good mist for young girls also considering the price.

This is such a crowd pleaser, everyone seems to love a Rituals scent no matter which one, but this is just so sweet and fresh that it’s hard not to love. The floral cherry blossom mixes really nice with the subtle richness of the rice milk, it adds a nice comforting edge to the fresh flower scent :)

For less than 20 euros this is a good choice of a body spray. It's my personal favorite. Unlike other body sprays of that price range, it doesn't have an alcoholic or sharp smell. The scent is simple, inoffensive, and softly feminine. The cherry blossom is clean, fresh, and a little bit soapy

I love it. It smells like clean laundry. Very inoffensive, very good longevity for a body mist. It's one of that fragrances that doesn't bother you even when you're sick. I can even spray it before going to bed. It's one of my favourites for sure! I recommend if you're into clean fragrances.

I love this scent. I generally enjoy the products of this "series", as the scent isn't too powerfull and doesn't give me a headache. I usaually wear it during the cherry blosssom season, along with a milder perfume, such as Elizabet Arden's Green Tea Sakura Blossom.

"Lovely" is the first word that comes to mind. I smell soft, slightly soapy, elegant cherry blossom! There's no sharpness at all. This scent could be worn by children! I enjoy this perfume after I took a shower, in the evening, when I don't want to smell too strong.

This is an amazing, soft, clean, comforting early spring body spray! I like to layer it under floral perfumes or jusy wear on it's own after shower. I swear it almost has some milky rice note for me. The only con is that it only lasts about two hours maximum.
