Jeunesse by Robert Piguet

I prefer the reformulation, it is youthful and not so intense. Soft tangy red fruit over musk.

This is very feminine and soft. It smells delicious like a sugary confection that I want to dance inside. It is gourmand in a Robert Piguet style - soft edges and full-bodied, fluffy confections from France not hard candy or doughnuts, floral and fruit come together to form a pink bubble around you. The scent memory of someone from your childhood who wore Fracas and gave you the warmest hug. It envelops you similarly to Fracas but instead of the sexiness it’s a joyfulness, an innocence. I adore this scent. To understand this house is to love French perfumery. This house will always do what they’ve been doing and that is because it works. Seldom does perfection exist but Fracas is one of the most timeless scents for a reason. In fact, if you do not care for Fracas then investigate this house no further. They will never stray from the classics and Fracas is a masterpiece. When someone wears Fracas I’m always in the presence of greatness and that is as comforting as life gets.
