Jeunesse

Of the three scents in the Pacific Collection I like this one the most. It actually has some lasting power and sillage, where the other two do not. The opening is a bit synthetic but settles down to a very pleasant berry musky rosy floral scent. I really like the drydown. I don't notice any coconut macaroon note as others have. I think that would ruin this for me. I also don't see this as a particularly "young" fragrance. The opening could be interpreted as being a bit juvenile but I think it quickly moves into a rich maybe not quite sophisticated scent but at least a "grown-up" fragrance none the less.

Smells like the Ispahan Macaron at Laduree. Those who know it, will know what I mean. And likely agree that's a good thing. Exquisitely pretty, but still worldly.x

Today is a big day fragrance-wise. I got my bottle of jeunesse! I'm trying to collect all the Piguet scents, even futur which I have but reminds me of aqua net hairspray. I still like futur tho. Anyway I just tried this and it smells more like peach to me than raspberry but I think that's something with the way I perceive fragrances. I like that it is strong. I can see where someone might compare it to 80's shampoo or some body spray from bath and body works. I mean, I can see that but this is much more rich. I'm going to see how it lasts and if it lasts much. I do think it has a heavy sillage. I just applied 1 spray. And it's loud. I don't know how I feel about this yet. I don't get sour or bitter. Mmmm the top notes were more peachy and now it's full raspberry. Yum. This isn't for everyone. But if you like sweet then I would say try this. Right. Now my favorite Piguet fragrance is Visa, followed by mademoiselle. It's too soon to tell on this. It's not a scrubber and it's not headache inducing. I don't know about the euphoria comparison yet. I'll do a side by side and write about it.

I’m surprised that Jeunesse has such a miserable rating - I mean, 2.95? That’s worse than Chanel Gabrielle and almost as bad as Dior Joy... Tbh Jeunesse is not such a bad scent - it’s a typical fruity floral from the 2010s... Some raspberries, some marshmallows, some nondescript flowers and a tad bit of powdery musk. It’s a soft scent and doesn’t project very far. It’s neither better nor worse than countless similar fragrances that have flooded the market in recent years. I presume that a lot of folks who press the ‘dislike’ button are old fans of the house of Robert Piguet (or Dior, or Chanel, for that matter), who expect the new releases to match their oldies-goldies in terms of strength, projection, originality and the overall impact. However, we must understand that these new fragrances are aimed at girls born at the turn of the millenium, or even younger; girls who wouldn’t be caught dead wearing Fracas or Chanel 5. Times change, tastes change; to each their own.

A very likeable scent. The performance leaves much to be desired. I love pomegranate perfumes like Fragonard's Grenade Pivoine. This is heavier on the pomegranate. This perfume reminds me of Dior's Rouge Trafalgar. Both RT & this have raspberries & black current. I have body sprays that perform better than this, I think this would make a nice gym spray. I get max 3 hours from this spray and it doesn't matter how much you spray. It's a lovely skin scent, cheaper option from Grenade Pivoine & RT which I also own & adore Fragonard's the most. This is not a dupe for either. Musky, raspberry & pomegranate = the main notes. The black current also reminds me of the dry down in Philosophy's Falling In Love which is @ Marshalls for $30 largest bottle. The definition of "Jeunesse" in French = 1. The time of one's youth. 2. Young people. Perfect scent for a middle schooler, a very safe blind buy for a young person. $70 from Fragrancenet.

12 hours later and this still is very strong. So I will say it lasts. But it just smells more and more like Bath and Andy works sunshine mimosa or pretty as a peach. And I only sprayed one spray on my arm and it is a sillage monster. 12 hours later and one spray! I used to wear Bath and Body works in my late teens - that's kind of when I could have seen myself really liking this so I agree it really is jeunesse. Bond no 9 hi line has an 80's shampoo smell but I often still wear it in spring because the green notes somehow make it more wearable for me. I just don't think this is my cup of tea. It really is too young for me - and I don't even mean too sweet because I can wear pink sugar - it's just something about smelling like a peachy fruit salad that makes me feel silly.

I find this one enjoyable and pleasant. Nothing groundbreaking, but you definitely wouldn't offend anyone if they smelled this on you. It's a basic fruity floral. I could easily mistake this for a body spray. Now I don't judge fragrances as being for young people or older people. I think people of any age should wear what they want to. With that being said, this is definitely a fragrance that would be appealing to a younger crowd, meaning, they wouldn't consider this a "grandma scent" by any means. It's pleasant and basic enough for a teen to wear for sure, but does a teen need a perfume at this price when they could get something similar at Bath and Body works? That's for the purchaser to decide, I guess.

I was hoping this would be a tastefully done fruity fragrance and what I found was some sort of unfinished bitter unripened fruit project. Although I do like the smell of it, I don't like it as a perfume... Unless I can find something to layer it with. I think it is far too bitter and bland-smelling. A good metaphor for how I feel about this purchase is: getting ready to bite into a juicy raspberry but discovering that it's totally not ripe yet. If this was a candle, laundry, cleanser or room spray scent I would be very happy.

This starts with a pretty solid berry scent that lasts maybe an hour with just a hint of floral. After that it gets sweet and creamy. It is pleasant and I plan on revisiting but it's gone in about 5hrs and that's typically an unacceptable duration for me.

I`m surprised at the amount of poor reviews. I find it very fresh and upbeat - it`s my weekend fragrance, that I wear with jeans and little makeup. It makes me feel younger, light and uncomplicated.

Standard, shampoo-ey light fruity floral. It’s lovely and inoffensive, but not a standout in any way and interchangeable with the hordes of other designer fruity-florals on the market.

Do not like this unfortunately. So on my skin it smells very synthetic and sharp, something i was not expecting from this house. Definitely sour fruity pomegranate and musk seem the most dominate notes, slightly sweet & juicy, but not well done to be outstanding. I do not get strong raspberry or currants, they seem to be sitting quietly in the background. Only In the dry down its like a raspberry macaroon with artificial sweetener. Try before buy! Reminds me of a number of generic sour sweet berry fragrances already on the market.

I do not understand why to ruin such exclusive brand with such cheap fragrances. This is pure fruity bathfoam/shower gel/ deodorant, you can find in every supermarket. In fashion expecially in the 90s. Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!! A true scandal. A loss of creativity. It smells and "taste" also like those marshmallows that you find in black or red, made with praline on done to imitate blackberries and raspberries, you can find into Cinema's sweet corners.

Unfortunately to me this smelt very synthetic and almost like a cheap soap from BBW. Not what I expected from the house of Robert Piguet.

this was absolutely not for me. high pitched watery juice box of peach and pear juice. plasticky, weightless, cheap like bathroom deodorizer.

I have recently started revisiting fruity fragrances after almost a decade of disliking them. I tend to gravitate towards niche fruity florals as I am seeking a less synthetic and not so sweet blend of fruits. Robert Piguet's Jeunesse looked promising based on the scent pyramid. I like many fragrances from the house of Robert Piguet, which I consider a truly underrated niche brand. Jeunesse is quite an intense jammy raspberry, pomegranate and black currant fragrance. There is an element of sweetness, however, it never becomes too overbearing. Jeunesse translated from French to English means 'youth'; an apt name for this fragrance. Released in 2012, this fruity concoction reinvents and modernises this classic perfume brand known for its tuberose-heavy Fracas and leather-clad Bandit. Fruity, sweet scents have been incredibly popular in recent years, so it was only natural that Robert Piguet sought to create a range of fragrances to appeal to the younger consumers. Whilst I do enjoy this thick, juicy blend of berries, I wouldn't reach for it very often. It tends to smell quite tart and heavy on my skin, which doesn't strike me as being the most suitable choice for the warmer seasons. Jeunesse could blossom beautifully in the cooler months, however, I don't tend to crave fruity scents when it's cold out. I placed my wrist under my partner's nose and oddly enough he couldn't smell the berry accords in Jeunesse, even when mentioned. He found this fragrance 'soapy', possibly as it reminds him of a shower gel or shampoo. Jeunesse has impressive longevity and sillage on my skin, lasting approximately 6-7 hours. If you're seeking a juicy pomegranate fragrance, Jeunesse is a fine choice. I personally prefer my pomegranate fragrances a little less sweet and complemented by woodsy accords.

Loads too sweet and fruity for my taste, but nicely done, with the musk not overwhelming, and the raspberry and pomegranate notes finished with some real style and grace. It's just classy enough to smell as if it's an unusual burst of carefree joie de vivre from a sophisticated French stable, rather than just being a teenybopper shower gel flanker trying to aim higher... so while it's not my thing, I'm more positive about this one than many of the reviews below. Worthy of comparison to something like Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Fraiche Passiflore, rather than to some generic bath-shop stuff. It's still much LESS sophisticated than many Piguets, though, and is vastly less complex and intriguing than most of the house's others. Perfectly good spring to summer smell, though, and if you're a real fan of ripplingly real raspberry, this is likely to please you mightily. Projection and longevity also pretty impressive - like a teenage gymnast in a glittery leotard, it might seem like a tiny girly slip of a thing, but it's a lot tougher than it seems at first!

Thats it !.. No more blind buys - strict exceptions only. Purchase was based on Petite fracas(love/admire) and Alameda(love/admire). Being a lover of pomegranate/ berry type concoctions and with these now RPiguet loves, how can i go wrong ?... Initial thoughts are light pinky synthetic peach raspberry medicine from my youth, shaken with the bubbles present. I have waited and it has not evolved. This has no resemblance to Forbidden Euphoria (i wish it did) or Blossom. Totally different to my nose. No structure or complexity either. I may compare this to Boss scent for her. Boss scent for her is on par or better ? It has been said below FEuphoria was first and better - SO TRUE! I would choose FE too - more delicious and involved. So disappointed, was expecting an improvement on perhaps FE. Heres hoping this performs as a simple summer shampoo scent... chances ??

Lots of raspberry & macaron sweetness then the pomegranate shows up along with gentle flowers. I barely notice the musk so it must be very lightly done. This feels like a young girl's fragrance although much better done than the celebrity versions. It's all done with a light & elegant touch. I spilled my sample bottle on my bathroom countertop & the room was filled with a pretty raspberry macaron scent. I bake my own macaron & that is what they smell like! This has a moderate sillage & lasts less than 3 hours on my skin. While I like this fragrance, it's not my style and I don't think I'm the age group for it. But if I had a tween/teenager, I wouldn't mind if she wore this. I think I would have loved this as a young girl.

A sugary musky scent, with nondescript woody undertones; it does smell like a shower gel, indeed. This one reminds me of I Profumi di Firenze Mora Selvatica, except Mora Selvatica is smoother, muskier and does not smells like a shower gel. I'm definitely going to pass on this one, although I see how this scent might be appealing to someone who likes fresh fruity musks. Update: on top of everything, it has the worst lasting power! :(

Well for some of us who find most Piguet fragrances unwearable, this is a lovely change!! I appreciate the quality and distinctive qualities of the brand, but some of Piguet creations are suffocating to my nose, Jeunesse is drizzling with the most authentic raspberry smell I have encountered, high quality, not very sweet, just real raspberry scent ...the musk isn't very far either, this is definitely a Piguet I would wear!!

Save your money and buy Forbidden Euphoria instead. They are almost identical. And, truth be told, Calvin Klein did it first. upd I'm testing it again. This time I don't smell patchouli. It's more similar to Jimmy Choo Exotic and Blossom flankers than to Forbidden Euphoria. The main notes are raspberry and black currant.

I smell first a very nice grapefruit scent in the opening. Then I smell a mix of blackcurrant and mango. I find this composition to be well appointed with the name of the perfume "jeunesse", which means "youth". I could imagine a more mature woman, still young at heart wearing it in the summer.

I wore this today from an official sample. I can't say I DISlike it - but it's very "meh". I find it similar to CK Forbidden Euphoria (which has far better sillage and is more "fun") - so I've switched my perfume of the day to that now.

While I love most of Robert Piguet's fragrances, I am not a fan of Jeunesse. It is to fruity and does not develop any depth in my opinion. Oh well, there are many more in the Robet Piguet's family of fragrances for me to choose.

This lasts FOREVERRRRRRRR. I took a shower and put on Confetto by Profumum Roma and I could smell this still. The almond in this is the only think keeping this from smell like a body spray though. Lol it’s good.

Wow! This is the first raspberry perfume I’ve smelled that actually smells like real raspberries! I really like it!!! but need to test it again in a day I’m not wearing 4 fragrances already lol

This is a pretty, sweet, fruity berry scent. I get the raspberry note later, in the beginning I smell more blackcurrant leaf. I think its very likeable.
