Very similar to La Vie Est Belle but maybe not as potent. Really good value for money as longevity is excellent. A worthwhile buy for every day wear. A hidden treasure.

This is a fraternal sister to Lancome's la vie est belle but it is light in its interpretation of sweet and powdery notes, so that it's not at all overwhelming or cloying. I would wear this during the warmer months only, while I could only attempt to wear la vie est belle in the autumn/ winter. A blast of juicy pear and currant followed by a lot of vanilla and praline, iris and jasmine settle in and become dominant after a few minutes, but still it remains light and fresh in its powderiness. Tonka and praline aren't overdone giving it just the right amount of light sweetness in the drydown without that sickly vibe that la vie est belle tends to have once the notes settle/ This is not a beast mode perfume that announces itself and overwhelms others- it's what I hoped la vie est belle would be- vanilla sweet, iris-powdery, and contained. Projects the first 30mins-1hr and then settles to be a skin scent. Longevity on my skin is 3 hrs, on clothing 5-6 hrs. This one will need topping-up during the day. The bottle is also really lovely, the cap albeit a tad fiddly the first few times you use it. My tip: Overspray on clothing half an hour before leaving the house.
