Florence Blossom

Lovely! Florence Blossom is better than expected. It's a pretty "light pink" fragrance, suited for Spring and Summer. The opening is reminiscent of others in this category, such as Bvlgari Pink Saphire or Dior Addict 2, i.e. light citrus, white floral, rose with a tad of fruity sweetness/tartness. The difference on my skin is in the drydown, which is vaguely similar to a softer and more accessible Paco Rabanne Olympus Acqua (which smells nice but turns my stomach). After 30 minutes, the head notes give way to a well-blended and soft base of sandalwood, patchouli and iris. It becomes a skin scent after 3-4 hours on me. Florence Blossom is ageless and versatile. For $20 CAN at Shoppers Drug Mart, it's a great blind buy!

Was excited today to have received a blind buy of Florence Blossom. The box and bottle are stunning, but to be honest, my first impression is that I'm a bit underwhelmed by the scent. It is pleasant, in a light aquatic floral way, and I'm sure I'll reach for it when in the mood for a toned down perfume, but I'm afraid it's a bit too weak for my taste. I was hoping for a more floral/citrussy version of the original Florence, which is quite a potent perfume. I would compare this to a lighter version of Yes I Am by Cacharel, with a touch of Clinique Happy Heart. I guess I'm really seeking an alternative to Coco Mademoiselle/Miss Dior 2012/Miss Dior Le Parfum, and the search continues. EDIT: I gave this to my teenage daughter and she loves it.

A very well blended, feminine scent. It opens up fresh, a bit citrusy, but lovely, before it gets to the rose that dominates. I also get some raspberry athough it is not listed. It's quite different from the original Florence one, that had a more mature, flower-opulence. This one smells "younger" and very appropriate for spring. Edit: I guess the berry note I mentioned comes from the black currant.

Florence Blossom is a bright, happy, solar orange blossom perfume. Not very unique as I've smelled similar among Givenchy type perfumes. Also, layering Versace Bright Crystal with Yellow Diamond will get you close. However, easily wearable during the spring and summer seasons. More interesting than the seasonal citrus perfumes.

I do love how the Roberto Cavalli perfumes feel very gaudy to me. The description for this felt very fresh and girly, yet still I find the soul of this scent to be a powerful, nature woman with substance vibes. It’s almost a bit heavy.... I love the first fresh opening.... juicy, fresh, bright. But I can’t get over the patchouli. It ruins it for me. I knew I didn’t like patchouli and blind bought this anyways, desperately hoping I wouldn’t notice it (because how cute is this bottle?!) but it dominates the whole time and I find I cannot enjoy this perfume as a result. Why patchouli?! Why?! The result is a perfume I would only really find suitable for special occasions, like a summer wedding. If the patchouli was replaced with any other note, preferably a floral or sandalwood, I would likely love this scent. Also, it has a strange alarming hairspray/ nail polish vibe at first spray...... I do find it goes away/ comes and goes but I wonder if that’s why this scent averages for $20 and never really made it to the big stores. The bottle is stunning! If you like patchouli and generally like the gaudy vibes of Cavalli perfumes and want a nice juicy fresh summer perfume, I would certainly go for it! Great price, adorable bottle, very decent smell. But yeah if you cannot stand patchouli like me, sttttttaaaaaaayyyy away.

I just purchased this today as a complete blind buy. What attracted me to it was a few youtubers who reviewed Cavalli’s perfumes and really enjoyed them and the packaging itself looks quite lovely. I don’t typically steer towards florals and fruits but I was very intrigued to find out what this smelt like. Upon first spray I couldn’t really tell what was going on due to the alcohol. Once it dried down a bit it smelt quite nice and fresh. Sweeter now about 3-4 hours into the night. However I can’t say that I wouldn’t have to reapply this every so often. I think it’s probably more of a skin scent. I assumed it would have better lasting power due to being an EDP. It smells to be smelling more on my shirt than myself at this point. I wouldn’t repurchase this however. 4/10

I just bought it in Shopper Drug Mart for CAD 20. I was so excited, because of the Florence line and one of my favorite perfumer M. Salamagne. It is very nice, but nothing ground breaking. I will probably enjoy it in spring. Perfect for work, wouldn't offend anybody. Lasting power 2-3 hours. Generally enjoyable, but boring.

I never really liked original Florence but Blossom sounds really good and the bottle looks gorgeous
