Just Cavalli Her

Hello all so I finally made an account literally yesterday just to review this particular perfume after coming on here so often and not being able to add votes or ask a question because it is one of my signature scents & I love the conversation around it. I’ve had it since I was maybe 8 to 10 years old? AnyWho, it’s one of those scents that is very peculiar in that it has some similar notes of sweetness in terms of what fruit is used, but then the back hand of the other notes makes it very specific. This definitely reminds me of the early 2000’s for sure (in a good way). Warm, sensual, with a forward punch. But for some reason you cannot find a scent that is an exact dupe - except as of the last maybe 2-3 years I noticed two scents that reminded me of it: 1. Noyz “Unmute”!! & 2. Sol de Janeiro, “Cheriosa 40”! When I go into Ulta, I instantly go to the perfume section and spray Noyz^and/or Sol de Janeiro^ depending on how I’m feeling based on lasting power; sometimes I spray both, but knowing that those two perfumes/mist give nearly exactly the scent that Just Cavalli “Her” has, makes me really wish that Just Cavalli “Her” was not discontinued because those two perfumes/mist come very very close but they just do not hit it exactly on the nail. The notes in both are pretty spot on, but I think there’s some type of spice that is missing? That’s what might take it up a notch. Just go into Ulta and smell them since they’re readily available, but I do believe most people would agree. I truly believe those two^ are THEE closest dupes. Now on to dupes I disagree with: JC ‘Her’ smells NOTHING like 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods; I went into the Sephora store to smell this specifically and it’s not similar on any scale, beyond it having the warmth and musk of vanilla & amber/caramel. Yes there’s fruit: pear; but it’s not pronounced enough to me. It’s missing the spice that JC ‘Her’ has which is what makes it distinct imo. JC ‘Her’ is also not similar to Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla because that is very vanilla based. I’m not sure who started suggesting those 7 Virtues & Ari’s Mod Vanilla but you’re missing the fruity parts of both of those suggestions. Not the greatest to compare to whatsoever in my personal opinion. Close Out: However, I did try to input Noyz ‘Unmute’ as an option on here, but it’s not showing up yet? Idk if someone else can help me but I am trying to get it on there to help others out. It’s also hard because knowing that when I would go into Ross (the store) 8-10years ago I think I saw a bottle and it never dawned on me like ‘you should buy this because you’re running low. It might be a scent you can’t find ever again’. And funny enough, I only ever found it at Ross to begin with. C’est La Vie. It just hurts my heart a lot, but I did find someone who had one bottle on sale recently. Hiked up to high hell of course but it is majority filled, so I did order it. Rather buy it than miss out. I’m hoping that with that I can potentially just find a perfume place where I can try to replicate it for my own use so that I don’t overuse my last bottle... but Roberto Cavalli please just bring it back, I love it down bad, like so bad!!!!

Update: Okay I totally changed my mind. It turns out that I love it! With this fragrance it's all about the layering. I spray it few times let that settle for a bit and then I spray it few more times. You may think it's a lot but trust me on this one- that's the only way i can make it work, and when I do- it is one fabulous raisin-y, warm, spicy party. This smells so so delicious and so inviting I can't even explain to you how much your boyfriend/partner/husband will love it. It has something that draws people in. It has a slight masculinity, barely noticeable, that makes it just a little more special for me, because I just LOVE it when sweet, oriental type perfumes have that masculine note, it makes them sexier, more noticeable and more daring. A+, since I learned how to wear it, try it, I don't think you'll regret. This juice smells...familiar. Close to the skin, ordinary, but in a nice way. There is no complexity, no development, It stays sweet, fresh and somehow unnoticeable. Spray it generously, just to experiance the true identity of this scent, warm, kind of weak, but pretty safe and cozy blanket of fresh apple, jasmin and hint of coffee and raisins. I smell no cinnamon and vanilla on me, such a shame. On me it is jasmine, apple and raisin-y tobacco with hint of coffee... Good for everyday use, nothing special, noting I would spend my money on again, this is my second and last blind buy, not because it's bad or anything, I just think before you buy a perfume you sould TRY it. I like the element of surprise, that's why I got this, but, oh my... it's deadly for your wallet.

Mmmmmm... This perfume smells sooooo yummy; in the bottle, in the air, on my clothes, and on me. However, it was not love at first sniff! At first, I couldn't help but compare it to wretched, fruity hairspray (like Salon Selectives). Yuck! Fortunately, the yucko factor died down really quickly, and the remaining scent -- delicious -- is getting better by the minute! Lots and lots of vanilla, mingled with amber, musk, spicy bergamot, and just enough tobacco to keep things interesting! There are also some fruits and florals at play here, but my opinion would be that this fragrance is decidedly gourmand, which I love. The plastic (protective?) case is kind of annoying, but as another poster mentioned, it can be disposed of without too-too much effort for those who are so inclined. Maybe it was designed with the intention of being tossed into some teen queen's overstuffed backpack? Would explain why I was able to pick it up for el cheapo on the Shoppers Drug Mart sale rack! I couldn't care less if people think it's kid stuff; a good smell is a good smell, at any age :)

It was literally my favourite perfume ever and so beautiful and feminine I always had it and whenever I saw that I was running low I was immediately ordering another bottle. So I was absolutely heartbroken when they discontinued it and have been looking for something smelling similar to it ever since. I saw some people said sol de Janeiro cheirosa 40 so I bought it and it to me it smells absolutely nothing like it it's more powdery /soapy I would say. But very recently got mini random perfume as I usually do as constantly looking for new scents to add to my collection and oh my god from the moment I sprayed it I got transported back in time and to my favourite Just Cavalli her . It's KAYALI Deja vu white flower 57 👌❤️

BRING THIS BACK!!! 😭😭 This is such a warm and feminine scent, it is such a shame that it is discontinued :( The dry down is so ethereal, I had sampled it and couldn't stop smelling my arm throughout the day after applying it. I am rarely in awe about a fragrance upon first try but this one was different. She is sensual but not too much. She is very feminine, soft, inviting and comforting all at once. She smells like that girl who has her life put together and is super friendly and cheery. I am quite literally honored to get the chance to try this fragrance. You will be missed dearly 💔
