Roberto Cavalli La Notte

I remember buying this perfume in high school with my mother because its selling point was that its exclusive and limited edition, idk how she let me buy it when its a very mature scent, i even wore it to school when its very much for nights and special occasions because it has a strong sweet liquory scent. I do really like this perfume, its my favorite ones from the whole collection. its longevity is really good and i remember it literally rubbing off on my friends when i hug them, you even create a scent trail when you use this perfume. 8/10 i would recommend going out of your way to find someone selling it, the notes are wonderful however i dont get individual notes out of this just overall sweetness thats not overpowering and booziness.

Let me start by saying that I have all the flankers of this line, except for the Oud ones. Do not let the dark blue bottle fool you, this is very soft and wearable. Projection and longevity is much lower than all the other flankers in the line. It reminds me of Lancome La Nuit Tresor but not a dupe. I prefer La notte over La Nuit Tresor. It is boozy but in a soft way, I get the raspberry and pink pepper, then liquor ( nothing chocolaty here btw if thats what you are looking for ) I dont get vanilla or amber, but there is some warmth to it towards the end. I wish longevity and projection were better. Also, this has the least DNA of the original Roberto Cavalli, so even if you dont like that one, give La Notte a try. Unfortunately this is no longer sold at the Roberto Cavalli website in the United States, nor any other RC fragrances...sigh.

Quite an interesting perfume ! I love Cavalli, but Notte is not the one I like best...it is rich, warm, the raspberry gives it a drizzling fruity elixir freshness, on a bed of woods...it is quite woodsy, which isn't what I like best...in that sense, it is a lot like Assoluto, in the woodsy undertone..it is nice, but I expected maybe a more enticing or exciting scent...it is in a way a nicely done fruitchouli, with the right amount of warm and rich..with a good dose of rich amber too, which tends to balsamic, so typical of Cavalli..i just need maybe to wear it more, so far, I am not into it that much..but it certainly could change when I wear it in our frigid Canadian winters. At least, it is feminine, and a bit mysterious.

A bit disappointed. In both, La notte and Gemma Paradiso. La notte is way too strong and harsh. I don ́t think they should ́ve added the patchouli if there are sweet and strong notes in it like vanilla and especially the amber. One of them could ́ve been enough. Another no for me. Enjoy though.

OHH As soon as I saw the bottle I automatically wanted it, that shade of blue is beautiful. I have the original and Aqua which are beautiful perfumes. The raspberry liqueur note in this one I can already smell it and it is making me drool. I am getting the biggest bottle!!!

Why is it SO hard to find this!?!?
