Roberto Cavalli Signature Verde Assoluto

As I adore The Roberto Cavalli - Cavalli, I thought I would try this as its so reasonably priced atm. First spray and it carries that undeniable Cavalli DNA. It has a light citrus element and a beautiful rich woody tone. The woodsy notes are not dry or pencil shaving'esque - done beautifully. White flowers are not over the top and I think that's why it might be superb on a male too. Tuberose is there but again - not overpowering or cloying. Such a winner for me and as I only managed to find a 30ml bottle I think I better order a back up bottle asap.

Gorgeous bouquet of fresh gardenias with its dewy buds just opening up; sweet, juicy honeysucle and sexy, creamy tuberose. It's a very modern, feminine, sparkling white floral on a smooth, woody base. A quintessential scent of summer florals. Not identical but in a similar vein to now discontinued original Michael Michael Kors. I don't find any similarity in smell to the original Cavalli Signature but I find they both share this confident and effortlessly seductive vibe.

The bottle, although beautiful does not denote what is inside. This is definitely not a green fragrance. This is however, a very pleasant, well balanced tuberose gardenia. with a very pleasant praline dry down it certainly not beast mode but very nice to add to my collection of Roberto Cavalli fragrances.

It's not quite as Verde as I hoped, but it's not too much of a follower of the trend of white scents with tuberose and "something". Usually coffee, pralines, etc. Even though it contains pralines, I clearly feel the DNA of the original Signature, which pleases me. It's a bit lighter at the beginning and the tuberose and gardenia here show their greener side of the fragrance, which is still partially hidden in the fresh bud. Gradually it blooms and all together with the scent of cedar, which lightly scrubs pleasantly and sandalwood, which adds an oriental undertone, moves the perfume towards the east. All this on a weakened base of the original Signature. I don't smell the pralines at all for the first half hour or so, later they just sweeten a little and I don't mind, I'm pleased. When the price drops, it will be a very wearable oriental in warm weather and then I might add it to my collection. Verde Assoluto has a really nice bottle. Personally, I prefer this original shape to the new repack. It's a strange habit these days to put fragrances in one bottle and send several to the market at the same time. Cavalli has already fallen into this trend, but I have to admit that its lines are great.

Pleasant, but not groundbreaking. I will happily use up my 2ml sample, but I do not see myself buying a FB soon. The dry down is really similar to D&G Devotion intense, due to the praline-hazelnut note in both. The Verde assoluto describes itself as a “woody vanilla” fragrance, although the vanilla is not listed. I guess you can smell it via the gourmand praline note. Definitely NOT a summer fragrance, the citrus veeery quickly turns into the sweet woody profile. I associate it with autumn/winter, as the summer heat would definitely make it too cloying. Another thing: the name and the green bottle I find incredibly misleading. I would associate the scent with a camel-beige-gold colour palette.

Bland. Generic. Not green. Delicate(aka gone within minutes) I ordered because 30ml was just 20€ and I really liked Nero Assoluto so this one got me curious. This is so meh. It's my 1st day of wearing it so maybe I'll grow to love it but right now I'm bored. It also seems to be very weak and I'm not even someone who makes it a point to have their perfume enter the room before they do. Totally agree with the comments on how this is not a green scent. Aura by Mugler is green, Pleasures by Carolina Herrera is, this - nu-uh. It's white flowers and some powder. It is very similar to Rituals Lotus Flower and White tea shower products that they have in Novotel. On the flipside - there's nothing repulsive about it either - so there's that.

It's ok... smells good but a little boring. It's soft and non offensive. The tuberose is very weak. The dry down soft and sweet. If you're looking for a scent that is very light and discret, you might like to try this. I agree with the comment below... green is misleading... def more a cream beige cream color

Mid not thick tuberose&gardenia scent perfect if u dislike vintage dense creamy tuberose&gardenia scents the creaminess is really balanced as it settles more it becomes more unique but not something i would see myself wearing tbh i prefer fruity bubblegumy tuberose scent more

It looks a lot like Lancôme Bronze Goddess Fraîche
