Roberto Cavalli Uomo Deep Desire

This is one of the most underrated designer perfumes – my wife loves a lot of the ladies fragrances and that’s perfectly fine because most of them are dead cheap, myself I have Uomo for quite some years which I really love, but Deep Desire is even better, warm spicy woody fragrance extremely long lasting with a decent silage, – unfortunately this one has already been discontinued, now you can still buy it relatively cheap but once the stock will dry down this will only be available at Ebay at higher prices

It is good, deep and underrated. For the lower price definitely you get more in comparison with other brands. Unisex- yes, winter - yes. Type of fragrance without leather that you use when you wear something leathery or wool... or natural. It starts with cedary-pepepy-citrus-mix and later the saffron -tuberose - mix comes in the game. It ends with sweet wood... while from time to time you can smell the dna ot the Cavalli uomo (black bottle). It is a winner!

This is very like Uomo by Cavalli. Deep Desire is slightly less sweet and slightly woodier. A good performance comparable to Uomo. Pity that there isn't a stronger cinnamon note though. I was expecting a different smell. If I had to choose, Uomo is a touch nicer A gorgeous perfume by Cavalli however. I love it.

Allright, so first of all the note breakdown listed on Fragrantica is completely off. It's rather shameful to see this. Having witnessed this not only here, but multiple times with other fragrances by now. It really makes you think and realise how a lot of frags listed on here might actually be composed of other notes then listed. Also hilarious how people use them in their imagination to 'disect' and mention these notes while they are not even used realistically in the composition lol! Anyway with that out of the way, these are the offical notes for this one: Top: Cardamom & Black violet Mid: Cedar & Patchouli Base: Honey & Tonka This one is a solid flanker within the Uomo line up which I adore in general. I mentioned this multiple times, it's one of the most underrated designer lines out there hands down. Deep Desire carries the backbone of the original cause of that black violet note, but definitely does it's own thing. In comparison with the OG, It's more creamy, slightly sweeter and a bit more cozy smelling. This oozes fall and especially winter weather wearing and is ideal for mostly nocturnal occasions. Best scenario's to wear it would mostly be in a romantic setting. Performance is outstanding, aside from the golden anniversary edition, this one performs the best. Longevity was 10hrs on my skin and could smell it on my jacket a week after still. There is just one minor thing that did not let me love this one and that's that from the mid till the drydown, it develops a peachy/coconut type of aroma that I did not like and got me tired of it. Maybe it's that added cardamom mixing with the rest and/or the re-aligning of the notes from the top till the base that makes it come off that way, but you either love it or don't. As much as I recognized how solid this scent is, because of that one aspect, this one did not cut it for me, although barely. Fortunately, recently I discovered Burberry Brit Rhythm For Him Intense. Immediately when I smelled that one I was instantly amazed by how good it was, but it also reminded me so badly of a fragrance I experienced before. Then I realized it was Roberto Cavalli Uomo Deep Desire. The only difference is that peachy/coconut vibe I got here is completely absent in there, which made it smell like an ideal take on this scentprofile for me. Deep Desire also reminds me a little bit of Valentino Donna Noir Absolu in certain ways and carries a slight vibe, just a slight of Spicebomb Extreme. All in all, Cavalli nailed it with this one even though it did not make it to my personal collection, I'm pretty sure a lot of other folks who would try this, would love it or at the very least like it. The value for money is insane, get this fast if interested, cause the stock is drying up! Rating: 7.7/10

Nice cheap fragrance. I got it for £18. All UOMO are nice. My ranking is La Notte, Deep Desire, Uomo and Silver Essence. Is it unisex? No. At least not for me. I would rather say original UOMO is more unisex. Scent wise it's smooth, warm wood with some sweetness from floral notes. Opening is the worst in my opinion. Citrus simply doesn't suit in here. Then it's getting definitely warm and woody. Saffron with tuberose gives really smooth and soft feeling and cinnamon brings the warmth and cosiness. The last stage is wood. Even thou there is not in the note I can pick up sandalwood. Experience wise I can see it like drinking spiced tea (with cinnamon and orange) sitting in front of a fireplace with few logs sparkling up, rolled in cashmere blanket. What's weird is people complain that this is nothing groundbreaking. Well off course it's not. Either Y from YLS is nothing new. Then we have tons of fragrances with amber, vanilla, tonka, carmel etc. sweeties where everyone are just amazed and in heaven, just because they came from bug names and designers. For the money you can get really nice, warm scent and that is definitely worthwhile the price.

Grabbed it alongside regular Uomo for about 25 each. Very good fragrances, excellent for the price. I do agree that the listed notes aren't that accurate - the fragrance to me is Sweet Spicy with a strong Honey or something similar at heart, toned down Saffron (or similar Floral?) of the original, and some other Florals on the back, and stronger Woods than in OG Uomo. There is a Sweet Tangerine-like note in the opening, but it fades. Deep Desire is Sweet, Powdery Floral - but not too sweet and dense - very airy and delicate even. Less Cinnamon, and Honey isn't as juicy as say Pure Havanne - but sort of dry. I understand similarities and comparison to it and Wanted By Night and similar fragrances, but very general at that, and Deep Desire different enough to stand its own ground. Still Warm, but with a good mix of Florals, slightly Spicy and Woody. Somewhat unique in that regard, and under the radar. Development is fairly linear. Excellent performance and pretty good versatility. Definitely not worth overpaying for - but a no-brainer if you can get it for cheap.

An absolutely amazing fragrance, another hit from Roberto Cavalli. It's sensual, sweet, warm and powdery. a great fragrance for colder months. and the performance is great as well. bottle worthy for sure. Please don't take the notes on Fragrantica too seriously, the notes are completely off for this fragrance.there isn't any cinnamon, saffron, white florals or mandarin. I get honey, tonka and violet. here is the note breakdown on Cavalli's website: "Deep Desire Man takes the wearer on a sensuous journey of hypnotic attraction, played out across the opposing forces of woody notes and the tantalising pull of spices. Irresistible notes of black violet and cardamom are rooted in the confident musk of cedarwood and patchouli, finished with the beguiling smoothness of honey and tonka bean." Edit: It reminds me a bit of Halfeti by Penhaligon's in the dry down but this one is designery and more wearable version of it.

So as others have mentioned there's a few missing notes from here; honey and violet dominate this scent. There's also a whole heap of orange and a little cinnamon but not as much as I hoped. This has a boozy quality to it like rum. This smells like a cocktail a bar might serve around halloween. It's sweet in a refined and mature way. Unusual but very smooth. I was hoping this world be spicier though. Overall a nice classy sweet and boozy scent. A like but not a love for me. I'm also surprised nobody has compared this to Azzaro wanted by night or Pure havanne

A good fragrance. But, there are so many similar fragrances out there. Update 10 hours after applying this fragrance: This is a long-lasting fragrance! And the middle to last of it is beautiful.

Roberto cavilli uomo deep desire is a great fragrance well worth the price it sells at , better than a lot of other more expensive fragrances .smells devine .

Roberto Cavalli " Deep Desire " is just another generic designer perfume that lacks originality and complexity. It smells good, but remains linear through the wearing experience with no projection or longevity. An o.k. frag to wear to the gym or for taking a walk just as with most designer perfumes. My 3 P's - Projection 4/10 - Performance 4/10 - Price 6/10

I bought this fragrance in 2022 before FragranceX ran out of bottles. This cologne was weak. I'm assuming the first batches of Uomo Deep Desire were strong but not my bottle. I agree with the person saying that it reminded them of Penhaligons Halfeti. It did have that vibe but the spices and woods toned down in Uomo Deep Desire. Overall, this fragrance was a pass for me. It smelled good because of the similarities to Halfeti. Though, the weakness in projection and longevity were horrendous for my liking. I sold it to my uncle for a great price.

I wouldn't advise anyone to go tracking down a bottle of Deep Desire, as I do believe that it is a slightly woodier version of Oumo. Which to me is already and an above average scent which gets bumped up to "Good" because it's well priced. It's not a bad scent at all, I hope that's not how I'm coming across, but it is a little flat in the dry down. Like just sweetness, I get the same sort of thing from the OG Stronger With You. Whatever this thing may be, it sure does make the base notes a little uninteresting sadly.

My third after silver essence and uomo. None of these have disappointed. They are all of exceptional value. My favorite is silver essence but this one is definitely a keeper for the collection. Still missing la notte but I doubt I'll find one at a reasonable price. Discontinuing these was a crime. These fragrances didn't fail, their marketing did. I own amouages, xerjoffs, and a bunch of other high-end stuff but I love this line as much as I love anything else I have.

This very much reminds me of Autoportrait by Olfactive Studios. It's sweeter and spicier while that one is drier and more aromatic, but they smell like they were flankers in a line that shared the same woody-fresh duality. The notes and bottle seem to scream "cold weather scent" but to me this has more versatility than most in that category.. On me this is a great year-round date/evening scent - in that role quite similar to La Notte.

First impression: very nice. Take original Cavalli Uomo and mix with cinnamon/woody spice. But it's still fresh and maybe even a touch aquatic believe it or not of Kennzo Homme Night. My nose picks up a coconut/guaiac wood feel in the opening, it must be fooled somehow by a mix of the notes. I like this one less than the original and La Notte. Will update later after more use.

Yeah so the only thing I get is Spice Bomb Extreme and to me exactly linear as the aforementioned.. Definitely a great scent but totally hype train and if you have either of the or it’d be a redundant purchase(imho)..
