Roberto Cavalli Uomo Verde Assoluto

I truly love this scent only if it's longevity was better. On initial spay it reminds me a little bit of 'The Prime collection Deep Sense Sport' with its zingy citrusy, minty smell and green notes, but then the mid and dry down does it's own thing, where verde assoluto goes into this creamy amber pachouli base with a touch of lavender lingering through from the mid. it's quite nice but such a light scent, not an attention grabber. It's classy and well made but like i wrote earlier, the longevity on me was weak to average, 4-6hrs on skin & 8-9hrs on clothes with 1-1.5 hrs of projection. Note: I do think it has the potential to go longer because it lasted much longer on a test strip (detectable smell for 24hrs) & tissue paper (detectable smell for a bit over 2 days) so I guess my skin chemistry played a big role in its longevity.

Didn't waste any time spraying this on as soon as I got home and opened the package. I can say, finally, that the 'reminds me of' has, for once, been spot-on. At least with the top three in the list. If you blindfolded me without telling me anything, I would have said 'K'. It is a touch cleaner and a bit more zesty, but if you have smelled any of the K's before the Parfum you'd know this DNA. I'm not disappointed, as I love the K line. Was I expecting more? Well, clearly Cavalli has the good juice in their other lineup (Bloodiris is incredible). But this can't really get near the flankers that came before the mass discontinuation. I'm going to wear it and see if it grows on me.

I ve had the RC uomo before, and i wanted to buy it again.. but then i saw this beauty at the store! and i had to test it, safe to say i fell in love with it . amazing opening smell im a sucker for flowers and citrusy smells then it dials down into something more spicy and woody, safe to say this is my new daily i absolutley love it. Same complaints as the uomo siliage is weak it lasts long on skin though great all season, great price range!

As Hugo said, very strange. The original square bottle that all the others came in was changed and all the flankers discontinued. So why they chose to release a new flanker in the original bottle design is pretty wild. Either way, i can't wait to get my nose on this. Hoping it's a good one 🤞

One of my favorites in my collection, especially for the summer. Perfect scent for warm weather.

Just received and it's too early to tell how well it will perform. Most likely will need to macerate for a couple of months. Off the bat it opens very smooth with citrus and green notes. Very distant from previous flankers but after few minutes you start to get a slight touch on the background of that Uomo DNA but it's very faint. As mentioned I cannot tell right now it's strength or longevity as it feels very weak. I'll update this review after a few more tries and letting it macerate. Overall it's very pleasant and for people that collect the Uomo line. For the average person it won't wow them, it's not that kind of scent.

Can be had at discounters already which is good for us but doesn’t say much about the future of this flanker. A decent enough scent, back in the better Uomo bottle style, and very much in the same space as Sedley, if not quite as strong. A solid 7.5/10.

I return with a review: Definitely not the "safe" blue freshie I always gravitate towards, but this is exactly why it stands out. Modern masculine scent trying to balance two opposing personalities; fresh outdoorsy green aesthetic and the sensual, darker Cavalli DNA underneath. The result is far more elegant and mature than the name might suggest. The Opening- Green, spicy, and expensive-smelling The first few minutes are bright and aromatic. You immediately get citrus and pink pepper, but it is not sharp or “sporty.” Instead, it feels smooth and slightly creamy. There is a polished designer quality here that reminds me more of luxury fashion fragrances than mass-market crowd pleasers. The green effect is not grassy or earthy like a classic vetiver fragrance. It is more aromatic, slightly herbal, smooth and almost humid. Think; dark green leaves, warm air after rain, polished wood and a crisp tailored jacket. I think this is one of those fragrances that fragrance enthusiasts will appreciate more than casual buyers. It feels; stylish, smooth, unique, and quietly luxurious. Not a loud attention seeker. Not a generic compliment machine. But the kind of scent that makes someone say: “You smell really good... what is that?”

The notes on Fragrantica are incorrect. It's very hard to believe that this is really a thing. It seems like they took everything that made the flankers of this line so legendary in the community and tossed everything out the window. No more Christophe Reynaud, no Uomo DNA, no more violet, no sweet notes. Instead we have a perfumer I've never even heard of, a generic freshie scent profile, one of the ugliest colored presentations and flacon I have ever seen. This flies on the face of the entirety of the rest of the line. I haven't tried it yet, do I will reserve judgement, but I have very low expectations.

It smells very similar to Just Cavalli Give Me Magic for Him, but there's no vanilla. It's fresher, cleaner, and less suitable for teenagers. However, it does have a sweetness to it; about halfway through, it smells slightly of caramel. The color of the bottle perfectly matches its scent. However, it turns out to be a repulsive scent. Why? Again, at the very end, I detect that unpleasant smell of modern synthetic materials that increase its longevity and strength. I didn't expect to encounter this in this brand. I'm disappointed.

Also 'very strange' is Roberto Cavalli's choice of colour. Looking at the notes, nothing about this fragrance screams 'fluorescent green bottle'! And where does the 'Verde Assoluto' come from? That said, I'm looking forward to trying it though. Before it is discontinued, of course!

Didn't they discontinue the entire line? Plus, they changed the bottle style for the OG and now they are launching a flanker in the old bottle style? Weird... Anyway, florals for men are in vogue now. Could be good this one.

Robert Cavalli Uomo line fan ?, This is the same Idea, for adults , but very citrus version of them, Performance is moderate to strong It ends up less citrus after one hour but it is for summer indeed,

MrFragUK is correct. The notes listed here and on basenotes are totally wrong. I checked the Cavalli website myself aswell.

As a fan of PDM Greenley, I'm liking this one a lot. Not a clone but certainly in the same neighborhood 👍🏻
