Royal Iris

One of the best and most elegant iris fragrances that I have recently come across. Elegant and opulent bottle. Lovely!

A good solid papery iris that will satisfy discriminating iris fans. The leather is here but soft and it stays quietly in the background. Iris is the star here and it is very high quality and worth the money. This reminds me a bit of the Les Heures de Cartier collection in the way its executed; soft, subtle, classy and refined. Cavalli perfumes continue to impress me, even their lower priced fragrance are good. This one is exceptional and the best from this collection. Cavalli fashions are known for being loud, flamboyant and showy, but Royal Iris goes against expectations with impressive results. Thumbs way up.

Thank you Lipglossjunkee! I received this as a sample in a swap and after one spray I got OUD OUD OUD!! My curiosity was so piqued and now that I have checked it I'm wondering about those "two" notes as well? Leather is one thing (which I really don't smell at all) but this earthy odor that I have come to dislike intensely has really ruined this "royal" fragrance. Maybe the same chemicals that are supposed to emulate oud aren't that different than those used for leather? Who knows? All the same, no thanks.

Only 2 notes listed here, but I'm getting a slight hint of oud in the opening, with the iris. This gives it a slightly dirty waxy lipstick vibe right off the bat (which I love)...and the drydown is leather--soft suede really, and a hint of vetiver. The suede and vetiver drydown is smooth and sweet and overall the fragrance lasts about 10 hours (6 of them as a skin scent). Definitely worth the blind buy. Can't wait to find the rest in this line. The bottle is gorgeous as well!

It's a crime that apparently there's oud in this fume and no indication here in fragranticas description. Not a trustworthy website now. Oud is to 🤢 for
