Extraordinary

HI all there, I bought Roccobarocco Extraordinary EDP for my girl some time ago, as I thought it could be very interesting mix between modern style and the classic vibe... I’ve tested it several times and now I’ve just decided to check it out again. Well... hm... I think it’s a unisex scent. The notes of neroli and oakmoss are very potent and these two + tuberose and jasmine give some kind of a classic feeling... I feel like I smell an extraordinary mix between old-school men barbershop scent and a classic women non-sweet white flower perfume... I’m kind of guy who likes white flowers and I love Roccobarocco Extraordinary EDP, but I’m sure it’s not suitable for people who don’t like white flowers and tuberose in specific. The tuberose note and the jasmine note are really bold, but at the same time they are not scary :) Everything is very smooth and elegant. So, all you guys out there, who ever wonder what kind of scent could be a men version of Madonna’s Truth or Dare, here you are! ;) Extraordinary Roccobarocco EDP is a perfect classic old type of unisex scent that many of the young people will not appreciate, but I think it’s a gorgeous one! As a matter of fact, on the box it’s not written for what gender is – women or men...;) I could imagine a smart looking men wearing that beauty... I found it cheap online and I didn’t risk much, so if you are into these types of classic unisex white flower non-sweet scents, just shop around online and you can find Roccobarocco Extraordinary EDP at a really good price.

Good gosh I love this one. The start is just like a greener, more polite Giorgio, but since I came of age in the era of Giorgio being sprayed on ladies at Bloomies by bedazzled and big-haired blonde sales assistants, I love it. The top last about 10 minutes. The middle is my favourite part. The neroli comes out and stays, and the peach and oakmoss hang out with my good friend Hyacinth (I cannot resist Hyacinth!). So darn lovely. The base is slightly sweet and dusty with synthetic oakmoss and the remnants of neroli. Love it to bits. So wearable.

This is the 2000s re-release of the first Roccobarocco of 1986 (relaunced again in november 2016 with the name Uno) wich was probably inspired by Fracas or by Giorgio Beverly Hills. Actually they share a lot of notes. At the same time are differents. A friend of mine use to hate Roccobarocco as she loved Giorgio. But let’s begin from the end. The end of this perfume is divine. What remains on your skin is the aura of those perfume which are "the ones you want to die with". A powdery soapy, innocent, clean amber and oakmoss, dripped with light white honey. Yes, a light cream of moss imbued permanently but slightly of orange flowers neroli tuberose ylang, with some survived green flashing lights. This part is similar to the scent of Giorgio Beverly hills bar soap that I own, Jontue drydown, and quelque chose de L’Air du Temps. The heart is like the base and even if we are into the full detonation of tuberose/ylang/jasmine and neroli/orange flowers involved in a dance that recall the monoi flowers, the amber shine a lot. Here you are in company with yellow fat flowers and a sensation of joy and calm, I mean here the perfume is loud, but make me breathing that sort tiaré and coconut and honey candies that make me smile and feel like home, paradise of childhood, a pacefull warm place full of billion of flowers. In this concert of the heart I sense Fracas and Vanderbilt without ananas. The overture is quite different. It is green that smell almost like mimosa and violette leaves and green notes, it is a step to be medicinal, and you can be worried, but after a few minutes become that thunderbolt of flowers oakmoss and spices I have described. Compared to the original Roccobarocco, as usual, you find a a simplified construction and a lost o persistence, but that soapy drydown remains for hours. The chemical tuberose. make the fragrance a bit cheap in the heart for a while. but there is still gorgeous and unexpensive. There are also Dark sides in this solar fragrance. To balance. And someone says it could be for man cause of the cologne-like orange flowers... well, can't say. It is really 40s style, like almost all tuberose based perfumes are. And obviously 80s beunette woman in white fur, even if i think Roccobarocco has no seasons. it is different everytime I wear and that is usually a caracter of a great masterpiece. I can't stopo to sniff it. It is my obsession now.

This one goes into my "guilty pleasures" category. I am a guy, who sometimes enjoys a good floral. First of all, I get a touch of (GASP ! ) Giorgio of Beverly Hills vintage in this...but NOT..Not...as cloying. I get a bitterness from the animalic qualities...which somehow works for me. Tuberose is the key here, and I happen to enjoy Tuberose if it is slightly bitter/animalic. The sillage changes on me, fruity comes in and out. Projection is great...wafting in and out during the wearing. I get no soapiness, which is good !! On clothes or fabric (bedsheets...!!!...lol) it lingers on and on. I enjoy this in my own private time. Got it off eBay for $9.99 shipped....so...not bad at all for the scent and price..plus, the bottle is very nice too.

Hope my english is good enough :-) People who like Neroli will enjoy this perfume. In the beginnig its a little bit much of Neroli, but after a while it become more soft, elegant and a little fruity (mayby the peach?). I can still smell a little of bitterness. For them who like classic not sweet perfumes this could be the right choice.

A huge coup de foudre. I am not a Tuberose-girl but this note here is well melted,full of a smiley way to walking.Neroli and amber make their job and you feel like a queen. I love it.Grabbed a bottle without regrets.

Anyone Who can review this fragrance? Please someone who has it, write your opinion please.

I'd like to try this one, notes are great and ppl say its smell reminds of GBH giorgio :))
