What a wonderful scent ! A sweet freshness comes with the first spray and a cozy sweetness of fruits and flowers come along together with soft woody notes. Flowery , juicy , warm and long lasting, i could smell it for -at least- 6 hours before becomes a skin scent. I think it would be great all year around, but in warm spring and summer days it will glow!

Roccobarocco presents its very first fragrance: Uno. One, a historic success for the Roccobarocco maison. A classic fragrance, but at the same time capable of emanating sophisticated elegance that is not at all obvious. The hexagonal box characterized by the strong color contrast between black and orange, immediately denotes the bursting personality of the fragrance. The bottle in the shape of an ancient column is embellished by the color of amber that fades to disappear when the capital is reached. The floral and citrus fragrance releases warm notes that evoke the most intense fragrances of the Eastern countries. The perfume is dedicated to a woman who loves traditions, elegant, sensual and unique.

4 April 2026: My husband agrees with me: this is "Soap Bar" Eau De Parfum. The peach, white flowers, and musk create a strongly aldehydic-powdery quality that resembles the classic Dove soap bar, and even a perfume non-enthusiast would recognize that. By no means a bad smell, just very.... specific. 2 March 2026: To me, this smells like an aldehydic fougére. It is flowery, but not flowers that are common nowadays - old fashioned flowers. The hyacinth really stands out. After hyasinth I get a strong note of old-fashioned soap bar. I think it's a mix of musk, oak moss and a tiny bit of patchouli. Maybe this is where the peach comes in; it's a very green peach that adds that soap smell - not at all a ripe, sweet juicy peach. Maybe lilly of the valley also adds to this. The texture of this is very like a white, rectangular soap bar: a bit dense, cold, slightly silky-feeling, clean, but not in a "fresh" kind of way. It's old-fashioned, but not dusty: this is what people smelt like many decades ago, before shower gels with fruity smells were invented.

The top notes are fleeting. I get the earthy base notes quickly and they mix well with the florals. Grounded, "natural", juicy, waxy the way spring bulb flowers are. Fits the ambiance of a sunny spring day. I don't think I would reach for this in any other season. It has some tropical and summer scents built into it but they smell delightful now as a promise. The fragrance pushes one's thoughts forward and optimistically. I sprayed Uno with a heavy hand, on this sunny day, and went for a long walk. We're social distancing so why not? Intoxicating.

This one is the rendition of the first ROCCOBAROCCO of 1987. Even with very good results.
