Eau de Rochas Orange Horizon

This is the ONLY perfume I have ever been complimented on! To me, it smells like a freshly cut orange at first, then it transforms into orange blossom extract, and it finally dries down to a really clean scent, kind of like an orange blossom scented detergent. This perfume DEFINITELY lasts a long time, at least on clothes, as I apply it on my tops and it stays even after I do laundry! (And I use a scented detergent!) It is definitely a "fresh" scent, very clean. Personally, I've worn it all year round and, like I said, I've been complimented every time I've worn it, with people telling me I smell really good! ;)

got as a sample and i really adore it. really smells like oranges that you've peeled by hand, and lingers like it. under your fingernails, in your skin, around you... some citrusy fragrances boast a quite leafy orange blossom like smell, but here it smells like peel and pith and juice. wonderful summer addition.

When I first sprayed it, it smelled like the bitter part of the orange peel, then it got sweeter. I can’t quite get the orange blossom, but it’s a lovely summery citrus fragrance. I blind bought this after seeing reviews on it.

I just got this (March 2024) as a birthday present to myself. Ive had Eau Sensuelle for several years, and I think it is more original, but this is a refreshing orange. Ive sprayed it several times for a boost. I find it better than Clinque Happy, which is the other orange scent I have had and used. The price is reasonable. I expect to have used this up by the end of summer.

Holiday mode: ON! This fragrance instantly took me back to childhood memories - it smells just like Mirinda! That said, it’s surprisingly well done: sweet, but not overly so, fizzy, refreshing, and full of fun. It’s no masterpiece, but it’s a perfect summer pick for anyone who loves a sparkling, feel-good scent on vacation.

I blind bought this based on the fact that I love Eau de Rochas and because I knew that even if I didn’t like the scent, the bottle would look great in my bathroom. It’s pretty inexpensive and easily got. I must say that I really do like it. I find it very different to Eau de Rochas original which I wear almost every day. To me, Orange Horizon does not have the “sparkling/twinkling” sensation that you get with the original. I can definitely discern the different citrus types as the scent develops, tangerine and blood orange definitely come through. There is no sense of a fizzy, sweet orange crush like Fanta here. It is more sophisticated and grown up than that. It reminds me of Cointreau on ice. This scent is nice for summer, definitely, but I can see it having currency all year long, especially Christmas and I look forward to wearing it then. The longevity is superior to Eau de Rochas original. Others may disagree but I think it leans more feminine to the generously genderless vibe of the original Eau de Rochas or Eau de Rochas l’Essentiel. The packaging design is impeccable in my opinion, a timeless design that would look good on any bathroom shelf or dressing table. The black font on the white label gives such a classy, French look. I love Orange Blossom by Jo Malone, to me it is perfect (no wonder it's adored by some very high profile people) but it costs a fortune. So I have looked everywhere for a cheaper alternative and I think I may have found it. The orange opening is incredible; three different oranges combine to leave you refreshed; it's zesty and fresh but not sticky sweet. It dries down to a nice cedar but it's the opening that will leave an impression. Longevity is poor (2 hours with about 5 sprays but you must accept this with citrus forward fragrances) but projection and the scent trail during that time is strong. This contains Ambrofix so I think this is why it projects so well. This is reasonably priced and your co-workers and friends will love it. Outstanding. 9/10

very fun scent! the opening smells incredibly similar to an actual orange, however the drydown is a bit disappointing and the entire scent disappears after like an hour. but it is quite cute and sweet!

Summer in a bottle! A mood booster - juicy citruses & clean feel florals.. very affordable..def value for money!

Overpowering jasmine ruins the citrusy pleasure for me!
