L'Homme Rochas

Just picked this up and wore it for a night... This is a very good fragrance. I own Moustache EDP and I think it is OK, but L'Homme Rochas smells superior in quality and is a great execution of a Blue Fragrance. Scent/Use: I can smell the cardamon, patchouli and the geranium. There was a waf of pineapple, but it seemed to be gone nearly immediately. I don't have a great, cultured nose as others do, but I've smelled enough clones/designers to know when a fragrance smells cheap, screechy, synthetic, and unnecessarily loud... This one is the polar opposite. The scent is pleasant, sophisticated, and versitile. It changes in the dry down and loses the fruit component, IMO, but is still extremely attractive. Based on my experience in one night, and the compliments of others, this might be in the regular rotation for Spring and Summer. I also contend that any and all Blue Fragrances are safe for the office, when not overapplied. Comparables... While it reminds me of BdC, I don't think it smells like BdC. It also reminds my of Missoni Parfum Por Homme, but it doesn't smell like a clone of it. I like this scent more than Acqua Di Gio Profoundo, D&G Light Blue, or Versace Pour Homme. I use those three scents as examples because the circumstances for wearing them would be the circumstances I would wear L'Homme Rochas, but not because L'Homme Rochas smells like those three. If I were going to a "dressed up" event, I would still opt for BdC, Dior Homme Sport, or Prada L'Homme. Value: I paid $18 for this (50 ml), and for that price, it's one of the best deals on the planet. If you are just getting into fragrances, and you're on a tight budget - this is one you should pick up. The only downside I had was that 4 hours later, it seemed to be fading fast. So, if I'm going to be wearing this at the office (and I will be), I will need to give myself one more neck spray after lunch (just one). UPDATE: Great scent, but either I go nose blind after 2 hours, or the longevity is really poor. Because of this, I can't really trust it during the day (because I don't won't to over apply it). That's a real bummer. I was expecting it to be in my Spring rotation for daily wear.

what dior sauvage should be. yes this a blue fragrance, but not JUST ANOTHER blue fragrance. it has that shower gel vibe but with something more refined, the famous ambroxan is present but not dominant. the opening is a bit fruity with pineapple and orange, in the drydown there are floral notes and juniper berries and this combo gives a calmy, soft effect like tea. more airy and classy than the other blue competitors. no bubblegum here. after 2-3 hours u can find the same sweetness of dior sauvage but toned down. another important factor is the compliment. i used in the last 3 days and i received compliments like " u smell good" "what are u wearing?", and it's quite rare, so many compliments in just 3 days... the performance is strange, it works like prada l'homme: u think is gone but it is still there. in the first hour it projects very good and there are many chances to get compliments. after that, projection and sillage are definitely softer. longevity is pretty good, i think other blue fragrances like sauvage or dylan blue are better performers. in the overall, this is your blue fragrance if you want something more refined, less in your face and super-versatile. fits good on young and mature people, very casual with no teeny vibe. spring and summer are the best seasons for rochas l'homme. of course there is no revolution here but a very solid release. rochas l'homme è un profumo della categoria blu, ma meno banale di tanti altri. più arioso e raffinato rispetto a dior sauvage o altri simili, ha una discreta performance che nella prima ora consentirà di avere complimenti come è successo a me. non sottovalutatelo! scent-8,5 long-7,5 sillage-7 versatility-9 uniqueness-7 bottle design-7,5 compliment factor- 8,5 rebuy?no my vote- 8,5 in one word- discreet

On first smell, I couldn't really smell what this was all about. I needed to spray it on my skin and spray a bunch. It's not very strong, but after I sprayed this all over and it dried down, I can tell you that the smell is excellent, and the combination of fragrance components is great. I don't know quite what to say about this one, but I feel like agreeing and disagreeing for you about things other people below me on here wrote. Finally I think I found something that trumps Cool Water Intense in terms of scent profile that I love, becuase I adore that DNA but it was a little too "simple" and I never got that beast mode performance that people rave about. This smells similar but with so much more depth owing to that blood orange and hint of cardamom in the opening, giving it citrusy/sweet/fresh yet spicy opening. The juniper in the mid adds to slightly fruity nuances; and the dry down with tonka gives it a pleasant sweet base and smells very similar to CWI but these notes adds to it layers, which works in its favour. Performance is a little underwhelming for now, about 5 hours on skin with first hour of good projection, I have kept it for maceration so I hope that it improves as I absolutely adore this! The performance is quite similar to CW Intense on my skin but atleast this is not pretending to be a beast mode with linear smell, the class and depth and the presentation adds to it charm. Quite pleased with this frag and I think I can make it my signature owing to its versatility and smell, just hope the performance improves, that would make this an instant masterpiece for me. If you can get his below €30 that is an excellent deal, get it ASAP!

My first experience with Rochas L’Homme was amazing! I think it’s a hidden gem and a great value for the price. It’s a super sophisticated citrus scent with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, cardamom, geranium, and basil (which has a hint of mint). The blend is really well-made. Some people have compared it to D&G K, but I don’t think it is very close. The opening is a burst of zesty and fresh citrus, with a hint of spice and that distinctive geranium and basil which is reminiscent of Bleu de Chanel. As it develops, it becomes a soft and powdery citrus scent with a subtle green mint vibe. The whole experience is incredibly clean and refreshing. Since I live in Florida, I know that Rochas L’Homme is perfect for warm evenings. It’s more distinctive than a blue scent, but it’s definitely not like other blue scents. This fragrance is enjoyable for everyone, but boys under 21 might find it a bit too complex for their tastes. It’s not offensive or inappropriate for any setting, including office environments, dinners, parties, luncheons, shopping, or hanging out. The bottle is a solid 10 out of 10! It’s heavy-ribbed blue glass and a sturdy cap that feels solid in your hand. At $24.50, it’s an absolute steal.

Like previously stated... The best description of this fragrance is Cool Water intense. This is almost the same smell just a bit softer. Where Cool Water Intense has sweeter amber, this one has cardamom. Which also gives that sweet note but it's not as sweet as amber in CWI and . But basically, a more smoother more toned down CWI. It is exactly like 80% or 85% CWI and rest is YSL Y. Like if you mixed the the pinch of YSL Y zestiness which would water down that sweetness of CWI. You get Rochas Lhomme. Is it a great blend? Yes it is. Is it a good release? Yes it is. But it's not a WOW. I do prefer this over Y and CWI and and Dylan Blue and K which this is in the same ball park as well. I wore all 4 on my hand and they are like 4 brothers. If you like any of the 3, you will like Rochas Lhommme. A blue shower gel minty semi sweet frag. Better than Sauvage, BdC or ADG Profumo? No!! Because it's cheaper by a lot out of all these mentioned and you get a high quality frag it is worth getting but if you own any of the 3... this is HIGHLY redundant. Lasts a long time. Around 8 solid hours without breaking a sweat. Projects good and it's helluva pleasant in the air. A mass pleaser for sure.

I just got this fragrance today and I was wearing it all day. As soon as I applied it, I was like ....I have definitely smelled it before...I couldn't understand what it was, it smelled so familiar. I started smelling fragrances in my collection that could bear some similarities and finally I found one that smelled very similar - Mouboussin Private Club. They are not clones by any means, but definitely share some similarities. Also, as many people have said here, It is very similar to numerous blue fragrances such as Dior Sauvage, YSL Y and D&G K. Me personally, I don't find it to be similar to D&G K which I wore just a couple of days ago. At least on my skin it doesn't smell anything like D&G. However, on its own, it is a very interesting and long lasting fragrance. As it is developing on the skin, it is going through multiple stages with different notes appearing and disappearing throughout the life of the fragrance. I love the ambroxan in this fragrance. It is very well done. Overall, this fragrance is not going to change the history, however, it is a very interesting release which deserves a spot in anyone's fragrance collection.

Modern, crowd pleasing blue scent. It's spicy and sweet, then becomes fluffy with a slightly creamy aspect. It's fresh too. The sweet-spiceness remains and is accompanied by orange-citrus and tropical notes, alongside a dusting of oriental rose. There's also sweet-vanilla that develops after about half an hour, but it remains fresh. The base is the nicest part (IMO); it's a lovely, sensual mixture of dark woods and spices on top of patchouli and ambroxan. At times the middle made me think of "Boss Bottled?" but overall I would say it's more like a cross between "A*Men Ultimate" and "Sauvage EDT." This is a youthful, masculine scent that would suit someone aged 20-50yrs. I think it'll work in most environments and tempratures. Good for a date setting. Performance is ok, projection not that loud, lasts as a skin scent for a good while. It's not hugely original but if you like "Sauvage," then this would be a solid alternative. It's really nice and could be the most underated of the modern "Blue" designer frags.

This is an easy recommend. It has a very fresh barbershop soap vibe without the astringent notes of the classic fougeres. It's a comforting mix resting in a cloud of tonka, fortunately with a very reserved use of basil. It's blended in such a way that it's surprisingly difficult to pick out all the notes in each phase. This gives it a fairly unique profile compared to a lot of newer fragrances, but also makes it moderately linear. It took multiple wears for it to go from a like to a love. I wish that opening pineapple note stuck around longer. This is also one of my most complimented fragrances, but most people will not pick up on it until you've applied 9-15 sprays. It "smells really nice and clean." That's what you're signing up for with this one; a well-priced fresh and versatile scent that deviates enough from other popular blues in price and composition to make it a good casual option. If you've smelled a thousand other fougeres like some of the reviewers here then this isn't going to appeal to you.

Given how affordable this still is, especially in a world where everything including fragrances is only going up in price, Rochas L’Homme is simply an awesome bang for your buck. It really doesn’t remind me of any other blue scents, and I think it smells far better on my skin than D&G K which many seem to draw comparisons. This punches well above its weight and can stand on its own. Rochas made this fragrance its own thing in my opinion and is just extremely pleasant to wear. It’s fresh, herbacious, slightly soapy and a bit creamy, it’s perfect for the office or just casual wear. Lovely sillage, it’s subtle but noticeable. This could easily be somebody’s signature scent as it has a refined and alluring quality about it, and would be such an easy reach too after wearing something like Y EDP or Sauvage which honestly grow tiresome after a while. There’s just something so chill about this that I love, a chilled out blue scent as it were. Definitely worth having in any collection!

I actually really like this, and TBH I didn't think I would. This is masculinity in a bottle, not abrasive or super macho, just no question for a man. It's "blue" but doesn't smell like shower gel, if anything it smells like a nice shaving foam type scent, not exactly fougere but definitely more of a classic type scent but not old fashioned. It's quite versatile, I would think you can use it for all seasons (maybe not cold winter, or date night). It's not going to wow you, but it's pleasant, affordable, has decent quality, versatile, isn't unisex (in an era where everything seems to be) and has decent performance. It's spicy woody similar in family to Issey Fusion extreme. And again even though it's nothing new, I feel myself grabbing it with little thought if I want to smell good that isn't overwhelming and need to run an errand, aka dumb reach. I passed on this a few times at online checkouts and I am glad I finally picked it up because it was better than I expected.

Awesome scent and very respectable performance this could easily sell for twice or 3 times the price.Well rounded smooth not sharp or particularly synthetic(btw guys all fragrances use synthetics).Definitely has similarities to Blue De Chanel and the like. However, this is less piercing and has a level of sophistication not found in those fragrances.With this said the Roja Elysium reference is legitimate as it definitely gives off a similar vibe in the dry down. Although I will say the Roja is far more citric and transparent however in the dry down the fougere spicy creamy commonalities become more apparent.The quality of the Roja is higher but not high enough in my opinion to justify spending and extra £200 plus on it when this and YSL Y exist. Anyway this is one of the best blues on the market regardless of price point.Ive owned all the blues my order goes Blue De Chanel Parfum, YSL Y,Rochas Lhomme-Blue De Chanel EDP,Versatile Dylan Blue.

Looking to swap/sell my 3.3oz bottle for something else. I enjoy the scent but it's just not unique enough for me... it smells like a combo of Bleu, Icon, ADG and few others I already own. I'll be honest, I purchased my bottle based on a Youtube review from Scentland in which he stated Rochas L'Homme became his HOLY GRAIL he's been looking for his whole life. I was impressed because he really knows his fragrances, especially vintage. So I hunted down a bottle from France a few months ago. Still have the box and it's 99% full. I wore it twice 4 sprays each time. No compliments. Not that it matters. Just being upfront. Average longevity 6-7 hours. Note: I have a huge collection (400+ colognes) so let me know what you got if you prefer to swap. I'll be happy to show you my receipt for proof of purchase. U.S. swappers/buyers only please. And only if you have a trusted name here. I've been ripped off before! Not again.

Awesome Fragrance , A Modern Fougere, Fresh, Clean, Complex and Unique, One of the best Blue Fragrance without Ambroxan! It has High Quality and Good Composition with reasonable price ! It opens up with like fresh citrusy spicy and green notes in the background then dry down is a little bit sweetness musky woody. This is very pleasant from the opening to the dry down and perfect for the spring summer and fall. The art of bottle design is very wonderful, elegant with deep blue and metal plaque. I really enjoy it and I love L'Homme Rochas EDT, I'm so happy that I have it in my collection. Longevity is good. Really enjoying wearing Rochas L'Homme. It's blue, fresh, fruity and spicy. Sillage is good, but longevity could be better. But I bought my bottle for £20 from a discounter, so I've got no complaints.Of course it's not ground breaking, but it's super versatile and a perfect dumb reach for day to day wear. I'm kind of glad it hasn't been given any attention, because it means that I'll be able to pick up further bottles very cheaply. Move along, nothing to see here. ;) 8.5/10. *Update* I have nearly 150 bottles of fragrance and some of them were very expensive. But I absolutely love Rochas L'homme and find myself returning to it time and time again. Rochas is one of the cheapest I've ever purchased, but it's easily one of my top 5 favourites.

....I am returning for an additional remark here> this is among the very best fragrances I have ever smelled. In terms of smell, performance & quality its there with the absolute top designer legendary fragrances like Lagerfeld Photo or Versace Versus Uomo which are among the best fragrances ever released. I would even say its this Rochas goes beyond them because Jovanovic managed to find the perfect combination of classy and modern, hot and cool, vivid and calming, easy going & elegant. My absolute all time favourite, the holy grail itself: L`Homme Rochas, I love you!!!

Man, this stuff is good! Yes, it is similar to Office for Men, mashed together with Coach for Men, so it has the fresh, shower gel vibe. The thing that really makes it stand out is the cardamom. This, combined with the tonka gives it a spicy and rich depth that you just don't find in other fragrances that compete in this category. Projection is solid for 2 plus hours, and it lasts for 5-6 hours before becoming a skin scent. The niche snobs won't like it, but damn, it really dose smell good!

Lightly sweet and spicy with a soapy finish. Reminds me of Coach Platinum but not 1 for 1. After getting this one on skin, it gets even better than off a test strip. A creamy and subtle sweetness takes the place of where many in the same vein as this scent get soapy. It's absolutely addictive, like a hybrid of a brown and blue fragrance. I think I like this more than either of the Moustache fragrances and they are fantastic as well. Highly recommended and blind buy safe in my opinion.

A great masculine that is overshadowed by youtubers and bloggers that put this into the Sauvage-Bleu trend. It's a versatile fragrance but with sophistication, maturity and great quality. Excellent combination of geranium and patchouli with a juicy fresh and sweet blood orange and pineapple opening. The geranium is the key here but many people seem to don't pick up the note. Bruno did a great job by making a new fragrance with hints of classic french perfumery. Great!

I find this frag to be very enjoyable with a similarity to Dylan Blue but with a bit more twang high up and a soft cashmere base in the dry down, where Dylan Blue stays sharp in the dry down. Really good stuff. I picked up the Homme Aromatic Touch and at first didn't really like it as I picked up the pickle vibe. However, after some months of maceration and having my palate expanded I've really come to enjoy it as well. Very good scent for spring.

For the opening, Sauvage like but with a little bit of Office thrown in. It also has a powderyness from the Tonka bean that strongly reminds me of Dior Homme Original. The sweet fruityness in the opening is gone in a couple minutes, so if you’re looking for that kind of summer freshie then you will be disappointed. This quickly transforms into a warm amber scent with noticeable cardamom. It still has a slight blue type frag feel but only slight.

I love this stuff. I got it because it was supposed to be similar to K which I also love. But to me it doesn’t really remind me of K at all. To me it’s a very clean barbershop type smell. It even smells like shave foam on the dry down to me. I think for a fresh fragrance this has nice elegance to it. Doesn’t smell cheap to me. The performance could be better. But overall this will stay in my collection for as long as I can get it.

Think of Rochas as a cheap brand as Scarrod99 said is out of my mind. Rochas is a historical and influential brand. This one is a great barbershop fougere scent done in a 2020's style. Not cheap just well made. Please stop comparing the online price of a fragrances with the quality. This is not a clone brand nor an arabic one. This is as good as D&G, CH, PR and others... And Bruno Jovanovic is a great perfumer too

This is going to be released in the US very soon. I was fortunate enough to get my nose on this before hand and I am so glad I did. I ultimately ordered a full bottle from overseas as it Is a must have for me. Upon application I was not sure but after being better acquainted I knew it was destined to be in my collection Rochas deserves so much more spotlight for there intriguing recent releases. Inspired by blue scents such as Dolce & Gabbana K EDT and Versace Dylan Blue; personally I definitely get D&G K vibes immediately with the blood orange open; it's stellar. The cardamom also comes through for me in open. Nice herbal heart of basil with earthiness from the geranium interaction with base of patchouli and moss; it is lightly sweet due to the tonka which reminds more of Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu.

I'd admit I bought this because Scentland (Chris on Youtube) said it was the holy grail he searched for his entire lift. Yeah, I'm an idiot! Although Chris did introduce me to some under the radar gems like Paco Rabbane Sport, Givenchy Insense', Eau De Rochas, What About Adam (Joop) and a few others. But this Rochas L-Homme is way to much like other ambroxan chemical powerhouses. Once again, to each their own.

It was a blind buy for me, but I really enjoy it. Typically I prefer heavier scents, but I also enjoy blue scents when in the office or running casual errands. Definitely a very good one. I don't know why everyone says they don't get the pineapple, but the first thing I though after smelling it (without reading the notes in advance) was "it has something Aventus-y about it", I can definitely pick it up.

The opening of this fragrance is very beautiful and head turning and I really like it. I get a spearmint bubblegum smell from this fragrance and it's a very alluring and handsome smell. This is a good everyday casual work scent and signature scent worthy. In my opinion this is a great release from Rochas, and I say this and moustache edp are the must have fragrances from Rochas.

It's great, and not hyped. i wore a full bottle and loved it. Got me compliments too. A fruity fougere, very masculine and sexy. Longlasting and good quality. The user below that complains about the quality is missing something. probably a bad bottle. this is not and super high quality fragrance, but is good and better that JPG, Rabanne and so on...

Love it, I heard how it's supposed to smell but descriptions don't do it justice. Smells much more expensive than it is. For me it's fresh, spicy, minty, a bit sweet too. If this "new" blue fragrances trend continues, then I am all for it. The performance is so-so though, even though it lasts a long time it stops projecting after a bit.

Opens shower gelly and Ambroxany ... at first 4-5 minutes reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana K but soon will turn to coach for men and 5 percent coach platinum direction .... at late drydown very close to Davidoff cool water intense.... I get 8 hours of longevity by first hour solid projection second hour strong skin scent

This is perfect. I bought it in late 2020 and finished my bottle in the beginning of this year. I already miss it. Fresh fougere with fruity sweetness from pineapple and a green minty vibe from geranium. Masculine, modern, sexy, versatile. The price is iltra cheap. A must have for me. Need to rebuy it.

Absolutely and utterly STUNNING! An incredibly delicate blend with such fine nuances that its a pure joy to wear this. The development is flawless and refined. I comare this to a perfect dinner were all courses compliment each other from apertif to digestif A modern day masterpiece! Bravo Bruno!

I'm in love with this. The opening has a heavy dose of the blood orange, then the cardamom pokes it's heat out and eventually it becomes semi sweet revealing slightly different aspects of the fragrance through it's 6-8 hr life. It's a soft smooth inoffensive office safe fragrance.

In all honesty this smells closer to starwalker extreme more so than K by Dolce. I have all 3 and soon as I smelled it I started going thru my stash. It's not 1 to 1 with starwalker. But either is very good. I think l'homme is heavier with better staying power.

If you're looking for a true compliment puller from the ladies, this is the one. Its just so happens this is also my wifes favorite out of my 200 frags and I'm not basing this review off just her opinion. An easy 9.7/10 with smell, longevity, and value.

Kinda like a tonka heavy Sauvage, or Sauvage mixed with La Nuit de L’Homme. Sorta a blue frag but ambery/spicey. I like it, smells like a decent quality designer frag. If this was more potent I think it would be a hit.

This is the fragrance i reach for when i have no idea what to wear, it never dissapoints and just smells amazing, shame i only got a 60ml bottle because im gonna need a backup bottle real soon!

Actually it is a very masculine strong fragrance and lasts long on my skin (8-10) hrs. Spicy with a warm notes as i know isn't preferable for summer. Mostly i preffer between autumn spring.

In times where everything is getting reformulated and weak as fuck, we need an amazing new release, a blue one that will replace all the weak stuff. Looking forward to this.

This one feels like you can you all year round, similar to Versace Dylan and Lacoste Intense.....heavier than Lacoste. All go their own way, beautiful nonetheless.

I received a small tester of this one and it’s a very nice fresh fragrance. Very pleasant to smell, I love it! I will definitely buy one bottle of this.

@isakasyv Same happened to me but then I let a bit of air in the bottle and after a couple of weeks it became stronger and deeper. Give it some time.

Drydown reminds me of a warm spicy Xeryus Rouge by Givenchy but lighter. Pleasent scent, definitely it's not a common blue one.

Perfection! Don't waste your money on Creed Aventus this is one fruity floral of pure class! Supurb value for money, love it.
