Moustache Eau de Parfum

Really one of the better designers released over the past 5-10 years. Moustache EDP smells nothing like the original or any of its offspring and instead smells nearly identical to the YSL exclusive, Tuxedo. But this costs a fraction of the price, which makes it a real bargain at $25 for a 2.5oz these days. Moustache is one of those fragrances that has a lot of notes working together to basically form one big accord which defines the scent. Here, the dominant notes are vanilla, pink pepper, rose, and benzoin. They create a sweet, caramellic accord that's embellished with a subtle and masculine dark rose, adding an element of elegance to the overall composition and making it more than just a sweet, gourmand for men. Due to this composition, this fragrance does not provide any significant transitions or changes during its development. To me, that is not a bad thing, but for some more demanding noses, this may fall short. Moustache has a versatile appeal, and can be worn comfortably pretty much any time of the year save for the hottest summer months, and is a fragrance which is easily dressed up or down. In that regard, you'll get plenty of use out of it. The most common question about Moustache seems to be, "Is it as good as Tuxedo?" I would have to say, yes, more or less. While the notes in Tuxedo seem a bit more defined and rich, they're only very slightly so, and you only notice upon very close, careful inspection. Moustache can feel a bit more plasticky and synthetic at times, but again, it's nothing obvious, and 95% of people out there wouldn't notice the difference. Also, Moustache may be brighter, with less of a noticeable dark patchouli in the base, but not by much. Projection is good and longevity is superb at 8+ hours before it really fades to a skin scent (my bottle is only 2 years old). I actually put Moustache on my arm yesterday and I can still smell it lightly on my arm 24 hours later. The patchouli in Moustache seems negligent at first, but it comes out and has some presence after about 10 or 12 hours, which is fine with me. Sample this if you can, though I also recommend it highly as a blind buy. Moustache is easily available online on just about every discounter site. I picked up my 2.5 oz bottle for $25 on Fragrance Net.

BENZOIN RESINOUS VANILLA with Pink Pepper. This smells like an enhanced pure benzoin essential oil, which in its undiluted form comes in a thick syrup that smells like congealed vanilla, with faint hints of rum, raisin, wine-flavoured cigarillos and tea & tobacco leaves. Moustache EDP has that, but plays up those faint hints. Straight up unisex after the opening 30 minutes, which leans slightly masculine with aromatic & fresh spices. Then it deepens into the benzoin heart with near-plum/raisin, balmy, zingy vanilla with trace tea & tobacco leaf (not listed). Well above average performance & longevity (9-12 hours on skin, +24 on clothes, plum-y resinous projection 3-6 feet). Batch nos. 04L47L176 (June 2021), and 04L47J245 (September 2021), both tested. Contrast to Tuxedo Yves Saint Laurent: These are different, but there are similarities with spicy rose, vanilla & patchouli. These have different kinds of amber, but dressed in a very similar way. Tuxedo has coriander instead of pink pepper up top, and the patchouli is more forward and obvious but there is a similar overall vibe. Contrast to Kismet for Men Maison Alhambra: This is a dupe of Moustache EDP Rochas and I would say it's about 90-95% similar although it might get more similar with an aged bottle. In Kismet for Men, vanilla-vetiver-patchouli does a good job of giving an impression of the benzoin in Moustache EDP Rochas. The opening fresh & warm spicy notes last longer in Kismet for Men, but the benzoin in Moustache EDP is more swoon-worthy for those who don't go nose-blind to it. Overall, this is a pretty good dupe, but not better than the OG Moustache EDP imho, since the benzoin is my favourite part. Moustache EDP has better performance. Contrast to Ambre Noir Yves Rocher: These are different but there is a similar vibe with vanilla & patchouli. Ambre Noir has a different kind of amber - more traditional, while Moustache EDP has benzoin. Moustache EDP outperforms. Overall: This was love at first sniff for me, and left me panting for a back-up bottle. It only gets better with time - both on the skin and in the bottle. So good you won't even care if other people can't smell it. 10/10. Enjoy!

Rochas Moustache EDP — The "Date Night" King Most of the time, I’m wearing stuff that smells like woodshops, forests, or barbershops. I’m a blue-collar guy, and that fits my life. But every man needs that one bottle for when he has to put on a suit, go to a wedding, or take his wife out for a serious dinner. For years, I thought I had to spend $150+ on a designer bottle to get that "rich guy" vibe. Then I found Rochas Moustache EDP. (Warning: Make sure you get the EDP version. The EDT is a totally different old-school scent. You want the heavy glass bottle with the orange juice). 1. The Smell This smells like pure class. The Opening: It starts with juicy mandarin orange and pink pepper. It’s spicy, but not "sneeze" spicy. It’s warm and inviting. The Dry Down: This is where it gets incredible. It settles into this smooth blend of cedar wood, benzoin (which smells like vanilla/amber), and a tiny bit of rose. Don't let the "rose" scare you—it’s not a grandma floral. It’s a dark, masculine floral that just makes everything smell sophisticated. 2. The Comparison If you know fragrances, you know YSL Tuxedo. That is a $250+ masterpiece. The Reality: Rochas Moustache EDP is widely considered the closest thing you can get to YSL Tuxedo without selling a kidney. It captures that same "luxurious, smooth, tuxedo" vibe for about $35. It is ridiculous value. 3. The Vibe This is the "Separation of Church and State" scent. I don’t wear this to work. I don't wear this to the grocery store. I wear this when I want to feel like the best version of myself. It smells romantic. It smells like you have your life together. My wife absolutely loves this one—it signals to her that it’s "us time," not "dad time." 4. Performance It’s not a beast mode projector (it won’t fill a room), but it shouldn’t be. It’s classy. It creates a nice scent bubble around you for about 6 hours. It invites people to come closer rather than shouting at them from across the table. Verdict Every guy needs one "Fancy" bottle in his rotation. This is the best one you can buy for under $40, hands down. It feels like a secret weapon. Rating: 10/10 (For the specific "Special Occasion" slot).

A truly versatile 'light' Oriental that I believe could be used anytime, anywhere. Will dress up or down. Initial opening is vividly but softly spiced with pink pepper on an amber-like bedrock. Benzoin, perhaps? Once the tastefully simple opening starts to fade, I begin to notice the more vanillic elements of the scent. It has enough but not too much. There's enough vanilla here to almost create its own sweetness without sugar being need added. But it maintains moderation and restraint. It would be hard to let this one get away from you and overspray to the point of being the plague to anyone else. To be as soft as it is, the projection does seem respectable. The scent seems to lack a heart. Top notes and bottom notes only seem to really apply in practice. Perhaps simply a parfumer trick, it (the heart) seems transparent all the same. Ultimately the peppers gently fall into the vanilla pit it glows golden and warm. It's not a rich scent. It's not a minimalist one. But it somehow feels like both. There is a touch of wood in there and somehow it seems like it too is embering and has the tiniest touch of incense smoke way down in it. The rose in this is handled better than just about anything I've ever tried. I generally avoid rose in my usage and often dislike it in womens scents. All too often florist shop or funeral and often demands attention above all else in a most obnoxious manner. This is a situation where if you didn't know it were there, you might not notice. But if you really linger over you can pick it up. Perhaps its something unique about Bulgarian roses but the material seems masterfully applied. Longevity is respectable. Projection is more scent bubble than room filling. Easy to like. Easy to wear. If you like Orientals at all, try it. It does smell a bit too familiar somehow. But it doesn't have to be so unique to be appreciated for what it is. And this seems almost experimental with the heart being so transparent. Easy blind buy for the price and so long as you are a fan of Orientals or wanting a great entry-level assassin. Well blended and the bottle is heavy, cap is amazing and doesn't slip.

Niche in spirit, designer in name only, and priced more like some well-made Middle Eastern scents than a typical high-street designer release. First spray and I had that feeling - oh. This is made properly. Someone knew exactly what they were doing. The opening doesn’t rush. Mandarin and pink pepper show up politely. Almost shy, actually. A soft citrus glow, a little spice, nothing screaming for attention. It doesn’t perform. It waits. You lean in. That’s the move. And then it warms up. This is where it starts to get interesting. Rose and cedar come together in a way that feels... balanced, thoughtful, quietly confident. The rose isn’t loud or old-school - it’s fresh, dewy, skin-close. The cedar keeps it grounded, smooth, gently masculine. There’s something beautifully androgynous here. Strong, but soft. Structured, but tender. This is one of view ambery, non freshie fragrances I am willing to wear to work and in (strict) professional setting. I am the one who is in principle "Fragrance is to be discovered, not announced". And Rochas Moustache EDP is still in line with this. Honestly I have not tested YSL Tuxedo, so I cannot compare. What I can say is Moustache smells really nice and has calming effect, at least for me. That's why I often use it as my go to bed fragrance as well. It is not overly sweet like frag trends nowaday, which is perfect for my personal taste. Somehow, I still also feel small amount of freshness, which maybe come from its citrus note, although it is surely not fresh-fresh like aquatic or citrus heavy fragrances. The projection also quite good, like maybe 0.75 to 1 m in first 15 minutes, then dialed down to arm length until around 2-3 hours, before becoming skin scent. The longevity, in my case, is around 5-6 hours before almost non detectable. For me doesnt matter as I tend to respray after lunch at work (and I normally use freshies for repray like TdH Eau Givree or Acqua di Parma fragrances). And maybe what I got is also a batch which is weaker than other batches. Because I read some batches have quite strong performance. But regardless, I feel it is sufficient enough. If i wanna wear stronger fragrance with quite same scent profile for non office time, I also have Turathi Brown, another Tuxedo inspired, although I find Turathi Brown is not as "smooth" as Moustache, and more spicy (still good anyway). I was testing couple fragrances in douglas long time ago, somehow i sprayed this one to my collar of jacket. When i get home i realized something creamy/vanilla type of thing smell coming from my collar. I loved this drydown smell. Then i tried to remind myself which perfume exactly it was i sprayed to my collar. That drydown smell stayed at my collar of jacket for weeks. I smelled it everyday. Anyway, i bought this today after long time. It gives me old style, mature, clean, refreshed man in suit vibes. When it comes to smell, i like the mix of sweetness of vanilla/benzoin with pepper. No one mentioned here before but I realized today while wearing, it smells like sweet whiskey. That is what i visualize when i feel it. I am not sure about projection and longevity right now because it is new. If that get me upset from performance point will give a try for maceration for a month. Later will use again to see what's changed. So far I am fall in love the with this smell, it is my style. I feel like I am in 1950s, leaving barbershop in suits after clean-cut hairstyle, i am looking clean and sharp. And i feel like this could be good fit to winter more than any season. But we are in spring, so it is not perfect but it is good i think. In my opinion, sweet whiskey is good example for similarity. Because it contains something sharp it gives me alcohol vibe. If it goes well at performance, i think it will be my signature.

I’ll be honest, I’ve ordered the 75 ml bottle of this with an online order simply because it was very cheap and with adding Moustache to my order I could get free shipping for the entire order. Best fragrance “decision” I’ve made this year by far... But holy moly, this is the best 2024 blind buy. A true gem! For less than 20 Euros, I got a delectable vanilla bomb. I knew it’s supposed to dupe Tuxedo by YSL, which I like but don’t love, but for me, Moustache is even better and an unexpected love! Big love! It’s even better than Tuxedo, for a woman I mean. It’s sweeter, more vanilla and more delicious smelling, easier to like in general and dirty cheap! Everybody who’s into warm, ambery, resinous, patchouli perfume, with a hint of rose and hints soft spices should add Moustache to their collection! It’s unbelievable good, and NOT just because the low price! I will be getting the 125 ml bottle as soon as I go through this one, the juice is amazing for fall and winter weather! So underrated and such good quality perfume that you can get for less than a Middle Eastern perfume in 2024!

One word. Gorgeous. So rich and luxurious. But unlike another reviewer, it wasn't love at first spray. First time I tried it, it was nothing but jammy rose. And that rose stuck to my coat for a couple weeks. I'd put on another fragrance for the day, put on my coat and when I took off the coat, all I smelled was jammy rose. Nice smell, but not something I wanted to smell like all the time. Had to wash the coat twice to remove the scent. I never give up on fragrances early. They need time. On wearings after that (when I didn't wear a coat) new things came out. A beautiful opening with more of that orange, more benzoin/vanilla, and a nice woody pencil shaving note. Probably the one fragrance in my collection that exemplifies the "pencil shavings" note. A little patchouli to add depth and earthiness. And the sweet jammy rose is still there, but rounding and holding the whole thing together and not dominating. Almost fruity along with the pink pepper. This is an elegant gentleman's scent in a modern way. Almost royal.

Wow, I absolutely love this scent - pure class. I tempered my expectations given the super low price and this exceeded them still. It's a unique sophisticated cologne that majorly outperforms its price tag. It starts with a fresh, playful, spicy top coupled with a lovely dry vanilla. As it dries down, the rose note lends depth and richness. I don't often like floral notes, but the rose here is well-blended and supports the overall accord wonderfully. The warm cedar becomes more and more prominent and smells heavenly alongside the only slightly sweet vanilla. The overall result is a classy traditional feeling scent, but one that's not stuffy or old fashioned. It's masculine and confident but not loud or aggressive. I get very solid longevity from it and reasonably good projection for a few hours. It's versatile and suitable for all-season wear excluding only very high temperatures. The bottle is great too! I can't compliment this one enough and it's a fantastic value. Don't hesitate.

I had to go back and leave another review for this having revisited after a long long wander through many fragrances, including many niche. Having found this early when i first got into fragrances, maybe 7 odd years ago, I loved it. I always rated it in the top 1 or 2 cheapies. Baldessarini Ultimate was another that i rated highly... Over the years I've gone further and further down the rabbit hole... Having finished my first 75ml bottle I popped the top on my new 125ml... this in itself tells its own story as to get through 75ml of it considering my growing collection is impressive... I must admit this still doesn't disappoint, if anything you learn to appreciate it even more... the pink pepper, the standing out from the blue brigade, the spiced vanilla and topping of with the patchouli in the base.... An absolute treat... This not only competes with niche but it puts a lot of them to shame.... A+

This thing bothers me. It keeps me up at night. Even with all the positive reviews and the decent rating score, I was skeptical on if I would like it. Turns out, I do. That is not why it bothers me. It bothers me because I like it very much. If it had better performance with longevity and projection, I would probably wear it all the time. I just can't stop using it. I wear it nearly every night for bed. The problem i have is that I can actually see the contents of my bottle dwindling. I know, it is cheap. Get another, right. I just don't want it to end. I am also one that gets the Dreamsicle memory when I wear it. It didn't realize that in the reviews. After a few wears, I started to get this itch in my brain on some long lost memory. I just had no idea what it was. Now I do. I am hooked. Simple tastes for a simple man. If this had a "beast" mode, i certainly would fork out more to keep it.

Imo this fragrance is blended very well. It's hard to pinpoint all the notes besides the vanilla and benzoin which round out the scent. There is a nice spicy freshness from the opening before the dry down. I believe the rose gives it a slight airy lightness. This scent feels more mature and definitely fit for special occasions. The sillage is moderate and it sits closer to the skin. However, the longevity isn't too bad (about 6 hours and 9-10 hours on clothes). The presentation is beautiful. Nice and heavy bottle and cap. The grooved glass gives it a classy feel. This is also a pretty affordable fragrance, you can get a 4.2oz bottle for ~$35-40. Apparently this is inspired by ysl tuxedo. I personally haven't tried it but if it's anything close to moustache edp, it's a no brainier to go for this at a fraction of the price. If it isn't, oh wells this is a great scent.

I just cant believe how wonderful this fragrance is at times. Every time I wear I am always impressed by it considering its price point. Ill say more on that later. This bad boy starts off with a bit of mandarin off the top. There is a good deal of spiciness early on that stays throughout its lifespan although it mellows out. The best way to describe this one is its a spicy, rosy, earthy vanilla scent that is just so damn sexy and sophisticated. I love wearing this to work in cooler weather because I know its going cut through the cold and still last all freaking day. You can try to wear this casually but if you though you will most likely throw on a better shirt because this fragrance demands that sort of respect. I will always have this in my collection. Rochas Moustache EDP is in my Mount Rushmore of inexpensive fragrances as my winter hallmark.

I have owned it for a year now and bought another one now. And I mainly used it last year during nightouts, dinners and networking events during in London. And every single lady next to me kept on complementing how I smell so good. Not to exaggerate, I have had more than 10 compliments every time I wore it. The smell is really nice, Benzoin - Rose - Patchouli together can feel like a burnt smell but it is beautifully complimented by the dark smell of Orange, and kick from the pepper, the vanilla is very mild not too sweet just the right amount needed. But, do not blindbuy this one, I have my friends try this on their skin it smelt like burnt plastic on them. Try it on your skin before buying, fortunately this suited my skin chemistry. Absolute banger for late fall and winter especially for 20 Pounds !!

Blind bought it a year ago. This is one of my favorite perfumes. First things first, the smell is insanely good. The rose, pepper, and vanilla blend together exceptionally well and create a very mature and sophisticated scent that works great for any occasion. It's a great all-year-round fragrance, except summer. I got lots of compliments with it. Initially reminded me of Moschino Toy Boy due to the pepper and rose notes, but the vibe is completely different, this one is much more welcoming and crowd-pleasing. The longevity and performance are very decent. Not a beast, but very solid. And the bottle design is so good, it feels very old-fashioned in a good way. Overall, it's the best price-to-value fragrance I have ever seen, and considering the price, I would not be afraid to blind buy this one.

Just got this in the 4.1oz size for about $35. Really impressed. It's understated and feels more expensive and lux than it has any right to be, given its price tag. There's confidence in its subtlety and a sure hand in the creator's decision-making here. Love the opening and wish the brightness of the pepper/orange would hang around a bit longer, but the heart of rose and cedar is really nice. I'm not a fan of overly vanilla creations, but the woodiness of what lingers helps the quite present vanilla avoid becoming too powdery/feminine. I'm a big fan of Horace's Oud Rose, and this feels like its lighter, less serious baby brother. Having never experienced YSL Tuxedo, I can't vouch for that comparison, but if the reviews are to be believed, this is a good affordable alternative.

Had to re review cause it smells different the day after. This is an amazing fragrance with more citrus and freshness than tuxedo. Opens with a peppery orange smell and dries down to a fresh rosy vanilla. Lovely. My problem with tuxedo is although it smells extremely high quality and amazing it doesn’t give me enough of the bourbon vanilla that it promises. Although this opens a bit harsh it dries down softer and creamier than tuxedo and gives me that vanilla I wanted from tuxedo. I honestly believe it’s a must have in your collection. Truthfully if you can afford it get both because they are 80 percent similar but different. If you can’t afford it though get this and it should scratch the itch. 9/10

This is like if you took Bentley for Men Intense and then removed the booziness that comes from the rum note. Although it is still quite sexy, it feels more appropriate to wear to other occasions. I'd say Bentley is almost entirely designated to date nights, but Moustache could be worn to other occasions as well. I would be comfortable wearing this to the office or to something casual. The mandarin and pink pepper keep things fresh and professional but still very fun and sexy. This fragrance is lacking the "cherry cola" note that I find in Bentley for Men Intense. Also, the fact this thing is just a huge vanilla-amber bomb makes it an AMAZING choice for the colder months!

Phenomenal, cheap, vanilla-amber heavy with some nice green/earthy notes on the dry down. The rose is really strong after a couple hours. Nice level of spice throughout, almost gourmand level. I much prefer this to Tuxedo; a fraction of the price and a more pleasing scent profile while maintaining all the unique qualities of the aforementioned. Only downside is the performance is abysmal, max 4, maybe 5 if you're lucky. Might just be my skin. Can't complain for 30 dollars though. Sillage is average, a meter at most TL;DR Niche quality spicy vanilla amber bomb perfect for colder months with below average performance and average sillage. Worth a buy 9/10

Upon the initial spray, the main note to my nose is a sweet orange vanilla made more decadent with the resin and some spices. The rich and spicy opening is beautiful and great for something at this price point. After 5 minutes, the orange goes away, and the vanilla is joined by woody notes from the cedar with a slight hint of rose. These notes project well and create an excellent scent bubble around you for two hours. Eventually, in the dry down, the vanilla loses the pepper and rose, and you are left with amber wood, which is most likely the best part of the wearing. The dry down for sure lasted on my skin for over eight hours.

Moustache by Rochas doesn't try to seduce instantly, but quietly asserts an elegant, composed presence. It is a scent that makes you feel comfortable and confident, with nothing to prove. Nose Note #444 I had The Tux by MA some time ago and wasn't a huge fan, I think it's a bit overhyped. But the DNA is definately one of a kind and it imprints in your brain instantly. Just tried this one today and it's practically the same thing, but The Tux is more patchouli, this one is more vanilla and amber, just like Fragrantica has it. In the deep dry down the two are different (patchouli vs coke-like amber). And I must say I like Moustache better. The opening - I'm still not a huge fan. Reminds me of bergamot black tea with sugar. I also think women and easily wear this 8/10, a special thing, but I can't wear it daily

A beautiful gently sweet, floral, rich and delicious fragrance. The mix of the vanilla and rose is clear, and works beautifully together, with the other notes tying it together and adding complexity. Very gently masculine, but anyone could wear this. Really is a gorgeous fragrance to wear, I keep smelling my wrist over and over. However, and it is a BIG however... The projection and longevity is very poor. I don't know if it's just me, or my batch, but it only really lasts 1-2 hours, and you really have to overspray to get much of a scent out of it. Which is a crying shame, as the fragrance is so damn good!

Quite pretty. The rose note is exactly to my taste - very dry from the mixing with the cedar and not overly saccharine. I think the pepper also helps out with this. The resin and vanilla base is also delightful - the vanilla actually takes a back seat to my nose and never dominates at any point, but I don't mind that at all. I do wish the patchouli stood out more but I don't mind this composition without it at all. Really lovely - I'm guessing the vintage formulations got much better performance because my new bottle off fragrancenet leaves a bit to be desired in that department.

Delightful scent and a great value. IMO, maybe 70% the same as YSL Tux. Does not smell as cheap as it is. Not overly sweet, but not a summer freshy either. No idea how people are getting poor performance out of this, maybe there was a bad batch or a bunch of fakes going around. This is a "put it on to go out to a nice dinner and wake up the next morning and still smell it on your clothes" long lasting fragrance. The dry down is a more subtle vanilla, patchouli, with a touch of rose. But still very much so there. Not a room filler when it comes to projection though.

I personally do not like mens vanilla scents... but this is just absolutely beautiful. For example, Mercedes Club Black EDT gave me intese headaches and it was just too much. This tones down the vanilla (its still the main note), but adds an old school type barbershop scent with a heavy dose of benzoin. IT IS NOT A BARBERSHOP frag but it gives it that old school sophisticated vibe. You can wear this almost anywhere. If indoors, be light on the trigger since it does project a lot. And for the price... 11/10. Absolute banger and my main daily driver for the winter.

To compare i sprayed my lovely Tuxedo on one arm and this Moustache on the other. I sprayed it in the morning. And few hours later i forgot on which arm i sprayed what. They smelled very very similar. So the longevity on my left arm was better. So that must have been my Tuxedo. But when i got home, to my surprise it was the Moustache. So they smell very similar and the longevity of the Moustache is better. I have only a few sprays left of my Tuxedo. But will substitute my signature scent with this Moustache. So glad this one came out.

Not to repeat what everyone else has said, but you just can't beat this for the price and quality. Another thing about this is that out of all 300+ fragrances I have, this is the one that keeps me coming back to it. It's that good. It lasts and has moderate projection. I wear it about 3 days a week and it's good for any occasion, dressed up or down. Perhaps a bit much in the summer heat, but a cooler evening would work. I like this DNA, considering getting Winsome by Maison Alhambra next. 9/10

I compared this with kismet from maison alhambra is very similar, the different is moustache has more sweetness rather kismet, but i do prefer kismet. I was never smell the OG (tuxedo), i don't mind how similar this both with the OG as long i can enjoy the scent. In terms performance moustache are better than kismet, this is versatile fragrances. I wish moustache decrease a little bit their sweetness, i'm not gonna rebuy this moustache better repurchase my lovely kismet. Overall rating 9/10 ✨

If you love YSL Tuxedo, you will LOVE Rochas Mustache EDP. Mustache EDP opens up a tad brighter and less spicier than YSL Tuxedo. Very wearable during the day, and you can always spray Tuxedo for the evenings. This is an instant love at first sniff type of fragrance. Not too sweet, not too spicy, the vanilla is not your typical bath and body works cheap vanilla, it's very smooth and this will not offend anyone. Buy it, spray it, enjoy it, and then buy a back up bottle. BLIND BUY WORTHY.

This is a gorgeous scent and actually has some good staying power and projection. People need to start spraying on their clothes. My bottle was made in November 2023 so I don't have the first batch or anything. I have no issues with the longevity and it's quite strong. I think most people are going nose blind. All of these claims of it having weak projection and longevity put me off from buying the scent for a while. It's a great cooler weather scent, and for the price, it's a steal.

In the opening, it does not smell at all like YSL Tuxedo but when it comes to the dry down it still does NOT smell like Tuxedo and then you will realize that it is not a clone of it! In my opinion, Rochas Moustache EDP is a classic style perfume that smells so nice and performs very well, and when it lingers in the air, it could remind some people of an imaginary fresh flanker of YSL Tuxedo. Perhaps the comparison to Tuxedo was a marketing trick that worked perfectly!

A criminally underrated fragrance IMHO. This is honestly one of the best inexpensive boozy-gourmand scents that I have encountered. A beautiful smooth & creamy vanilla mixed with spices is what I mostly get with Moustache EDP. Highly suggest checking this one out, it has niche quality. Although in the opening I get this metallic vibe, it fades away rather quickly and that's where the magic begins. Has great performance too. My rating for the price and quality: 9.5/10

What a pleasant scent, ignore all the tuxedo comparison. Sure theres a merit to the comparison but this is its own thing, and if I have to choose between both I'd choose this any day of the week. It's more pleasant. This is a very pleasant rich and bright amber. I think it's a masculine but I can see women easily pulling this off too. Clean, elegant, can be dressed up or down. Good everyday scent. Perfect for spring and fall, maybe cool summer nights.

This would be what a Colorado cowboy would wear to a very formal occasion. It smells somewhat similar to Bentley intense to me. Very similar to Suits and Turathi Brown. Owning any of these 3 (Mustache, Suits, Turathi) would be redundant. It's a classy, unique scent that would be mostly winter and special occasions. Not a daily driver IMO. Overall 9/10 and pretty unique. Not a lot of other scents smell like this dna.

Cheap benzoin/vanilla frags are a dime a dozen. The problem is they are usually clunky, heavy handed things that smell similar to Bath and Body products or scent candles. This one is very smooth and sophisticated. What separates Moustache from the hundreds...thousands... of Yankee candle like cheapies is the expert level use patchouli ...it’s just a touch of herbal resin without the funk. Fantastic fragrance.

Like, but don't love this one. A safe, solid, all-occasion scent. Masculine with a linear scent profile. Doesn't last or project off my skin. I want to like this more, as it smells so good off the rip. Dries down to barely a skin scent after a couple of hours. Overspray and re-apply if you're using this as your scent of the day. Might now be a good layering fragrance? I'll check back with this one, for sure.

This really feels like a "hidden treasure" although I guess it's getting pretty well known. It would be a great fragarnce even if it would cost waaay more, but on this price point its almost unbeatable. Just be carefull, you can definitly over do it. I don't wear it too often but it's just feels so good to come back to it from time to time. One if not the best cold weather cheapie I tried so far.

There are loud things that attract attention, and there are quiet things that demand attention... Moustache is in the latter category. This scent has mastered patchouli, as it is mixed to perfection, I cannot help but go "wow". This scent can be worn around the house or to a nice evening out. Versatile, perfectly blended, smooth and rich is how I describe this. Can't go wrong with Moustache.

When i first got Mustache i found it to be a little harsh in the opening and i put it on the shelf for around two months. Two months later it has macerated into a silky smooth vanilla and is one of my favorite fragrances. I thought that macerating fragrances was a myth but this fragrance has proven me wrong. 6/10 when i first bought it 9/10 after two months of maceration

This should be a cornerstone in every mans collection. Truly a beautiful scent and after finally purchasing I see what everyone meant. This smells luxurious and bright and if it had a different label it could perhaps sell for way more than where its priced. I wholeheartedly recommend this fragrance especially for any beginner its definitely blind buy safe. Cheers!

Since I'm working from home today, I thought I try Afnan Turathi Brown on one arm and Rochas Moustache on the other. Moustache is definitely winning. Turathi is too synthetic smelling and a bit strong for my taste. I don't have YSL Tuxedo so I don't know how they compare to it. But since Moustache has been around since the 1940s, I guess it's the original.

Really fine and classy. It smells like rose and powder, but in a masculine way, which is quite unusual. Very weak sillage, people need to get really close to smell it. Which makes it very versatile if you like that. It suits office and formal occasions IMO. Works for every season, except hot days. Very inexpensive, so it's definitely worth the price .

Smells so good , starts with a peppery semi vanilla and tones down about the same in my opinion. Starts off projecting really strong and around 6 hours later I had to respray. The smell lasts longer on clothes as all fragrances does. It lives up to its hype and smells wayy more expensive than it is. Overall 9/10, just wish it lasted a little longer.

This EDP is not a dupe of anything, this is an original fragrance that deserves the Moustache branding even tho it has nothing to do with Roudnitska's original Moustache from 1949. Smells unique, classy, like a 5pm royal tea gathering. This is probably the scent I will be wearing when invited to become a Duke by the Queen.

Very good, I got it for 22 for 75 ml. the bottle is also very heavy and good quality and the scent is like what you would expect out of a 200 euro fragrance (even tho it all costs the same to make its just marketed - scammed- so you think some cost more) the only problem is the performance, its meh, but you gotta buy it

Really nice stuff. At first spray I was worried because all I could smell was the benzoin but that quickly fades to a classy vanilla focussed scent. Everything is well blended, I can detect the rose but it doesn't stand out. Smells much more expensive than it is and the bottle gives the same impression.

The best alternative to tuxedo. Opening is a little spicy with pink pepper but it quickly calms into woody ambery and vanilla scent. There is a lot of benzoin, the scent is sweet but not cloying. Patchouli is rather subtle, but definitely detectable. Overall really good fragrance With great price value

My entry into fragrances and I must say it's a very nice smell right out of the box. Notes of vanilla and pepper were the most prominent and I'm super satisfied with it. Not to mention the bottle is really heavy and designed to look spectacular. It was a blind buy and did not disappoint. 10/10 for me.
