Gorgeous gorgeous leather bomb- my girlfriend sprays this on and I can smell it on her jacket for the rest of time, and on her neck even after she wears it. Too strong for me, especially with that sillage, but just right as a trace on her neck. It's delicious, and definitely makes me queasy wearing it directly because it sticks around (which happens for any perfume; I prefer fumes I can reapply so I can have a break in the middle). Smells like if we took a break from my great aunt's stuffy afternoon tea in her old damp moors manor and went tramping in the wet forest, and then I put my head on my lover's shoulder. Exactly like that.

Familiar, well-worn territory with a base of aromatic Australian sandalwood, a whitewash of cedar, and a touch of muted spices on top. A dash of bergamot fades in and out, as does the remainder of the fragrance - it's possible that I'm anosmic to the synthetics they're using, but it seems to be barely-there. Leather? I hardly see ya. I'd call it a Le Labo dupe but it's less polished and with less "oomph" than Santal 33. One big ol' "meh", as much as I wish it were otherwise.
