Fleur de Figuier

I've been reveling in sweet scents lately. Smokey vanilla, salt caramel and cherry cola fragrances, all sweet enough to make your teeth ache...couldn't get enough of them. And it's not that I've suddenly gone off them or anything like that, but I woke up today in the mood for something different. Maybe it was TOTM hormones that decided to play havoc with my sensibilities; maybe it was the muggy closeness of thick summer humidity that demanded something that could cut through the fetid fug that had settled everywhere. Or perhaps it was the scent left behind after a brief yet powerful summer downpour, that inspired me to opt for a fresh, fruitish, green fragrance upon waking. Whatever the reason, the minute I wandered into the living room this morning, I just knew that a sweet/sugary scent wasn't going to cut it today. It's weird: I own 100-150 fragrances of all stripes; perfumes of varying prestige, popularity and price points, stored in every room in my home. My lists on here are by no means complete and if you asked me to tell you every scent I own, I couldn't do it without searching every room first. Heck, I hadn't even listed Fleur de Figuier at all on here until half an hour ago, yet I've owned it for nearly 18 months now. And yet without having to think about it, I knew immediately upon waking that today called for the crisp, clean uniqueness of this classic R&G creation. I also knew instinctively where the bottle was and was immediately able to locate it without thinking. I guess we all have our strengths and areas of specific interest, where we can find it surprisingly easy to accrue more knowledge than we expect, or even understand. It amuses me that my brain is so addled it often forgets my own house number, age or phone number, yet it's subconsciously aware of not only the location of every fragrance in my home, but also the subsequent characteristics, style and suitability of every scent, with regards to any particular time/place/mood. But to cut a long story short, it turned out to be the most perfect choice I could have made. Lush, almost aquatic accords, nestled behind notes of varying fruits and foliage, with the unmistakable hint of figs, this is a gorgeously refreshing fragrance that doesn't smell like every other fruit fragrance, every other greenish accord or your run-of-the-mill summer splash. It's something you might not want to wear everyday, but it's a perfume I think you should definitely have squirreled away for those days when nothing else will do. When you want to wear a fragrance that doesn't wear you, but you don't want to waste your time & money on a smell so nondescript, it gets mistaken for laundry detergent. I'm not an expert or connoisseur of fig fragrances, so I cannot comment as to whether or not this Roger & Gallet EDT is better or remotely comparable to any other similar offering. I can however notice the very distinctive fig notes and I love how different and unique this perfume is to others in my vast collection. It's mouthwateringly tart and juicy without veering off into the typical citrus type of scent one might expect from a concoction with notes of grapefruit and orange present. The cumin top-note blends beautifully with the aromatic combination of fig and musk notes, giving just the merest suggestion of exotic far-away holiday destinations. This is not a hugely expensive perfume. I think it retails for around £25 for 50ml EDT, but Roger & Gallet seem to release their fragrances in varying strengths/concentrations, all categorised using terms I don't pretend to comprehend (I'm guessing it's a French thing I'm nowhere near cultured enough to understand, lol!) so don't go quoting me or anything. It comes in the standard R&G bottle/packaging which isn't the most fancy, but I like its easily identifiable branding and understated design. Mine actually came in a gift set with matching body lotion/shower gel (both of which are completely used up) which I received as a Christmas present. The accompanying body lotion makes a great hand cream and is also a good way to see whether or not you'll like a particular R&G fragrance. It's cheaper to try out a body lotion and the fragrance is exactly the same, across the range of products unless otherwise stated.* *NB: As stated in another review on here, the R&G Fleur de Figuier Eau De PARFUM (in a darker purple/gold packaging, that retails for around £42 for 50ml EDP) is NOT the same fragrance as the Fleur de Figuier EDT/Eau fraiche/accompanying coffret products. I have no idea why, but whilst the EDP is nice, there was quite a furor among fans who thought R&G just got it wrong by leaving out the essential notes and added unnecessary new ones. Do not confuse the two scents! Overall, I just find this to be a beautiful, delicious fragrance that sits waiting patiently to be brought out whenever the time is right. Sometimes I get hints of lychee or pear; other times echoes of crisp green Granny Smith apples. Neither are listed as actual notes, but this verdant, luscious perfume will reveal its hidden complexity on different days and at different times of the year. It's a special little number, bursting with freshness and ought to have a place in everyone's perfume collection, regardless of age. Love it!

The fragrance of Fleur de Figuier was launched in 2013 and exudes tradition and excellence on all sides, as it joins more than a century of experience of a traditional house in the history of perfumery with the unquestionable talent of Francis Kurkdjian. The perfumer created this fragrance on a trip to Esterel, when he visited a Mediterranean garden. To this end, he combined notes of fig's pulp, caraway and fresh grapefruits, on the top of a juicy and luminous composition, which features a body of mandarin flower along with green and crunchy fig leaves, over a base of fig wood and musk. Fleur de Figuier carries an absurdly natural content, to the point of being addictive. It is that type of fragrance that aims the female audience and also touches the male, without much effort, especially, for those who do not usually have much problem with genre in the perfumery. It has the best of the fig, without using that drier nuance that is very common in masculine scents. It is, undoubtedly, a creation made for lovers of fragrances with fig, exploring a completely different side of the fruit and its leaves. And here (worth the record), the compliment goes to the mandarine note, which is vibrant and energetic. Fleur de Figuier walks to a sweet side, but the citric content maintains a constant balance. From the wood of the fig tree we feel a moist side, full of that sap that we commonly call milk. And the result is explosive and refreshing, perfect for those spring and/or summer days when we need something invigorating waking our senses. And I go further: it is so well built that it could come disguised in a niche bottle, with the name of Figue et Mandarine, and no one would dare to doubt. Only one detail is missing: it is an Eau Fraîche Parfumée (fresh fragrant water), but behaves like a good Eau de Toilette, projecting well and lasting in a medium way. Regarding the bottles, it seems to me that the smaller (30ml) do not bring the same decoration on the glass.

A really sweet and juicy fig, short-lived but oh-so-pretty when first sprayed. It smells like a cross between the flesh of a real fig and a jolly rancher, but is just the teensiest bit tart such that it's refreshing, like a gulp of sweet and cold lemonade on a hot day. Utterly splendid, and I don't mind that it doesn't last too long because the price is excellent as well. I find that it smells high quality and youthful (not juvenile, but also not that I really care about that stuff to begin with). This scent matches a warm spring day or even in the oppressive heat of the summer when you want a pick-me-up, but personally I love it indoors in the winter as well, as it makes me feel happy and helps me fight the urge to do things that would shorten my lifespan (lol). Of all the fig scents I've tested/owned, this is certainly my favourite one, though I love another scent called Eros Fig by Libertine (now Paraphrase) but the price is not the best on that one for the lasting power. Anyway, there is not even a hint of greenness to my nose in Fleur de Figuier, none of that milky-sappy-leafy thing that many fig lovers are familiar with. This is a positive to me! It is also much less citrusy than Fico di Amalfi, which is a scratchy citrus bomb on my skin. It is most similar to Dioriviera, another Francis Kurkdjian creation. Absolutely lovely, I will definitely spring for a backup bottle once the time comes.

Fleur de Figuier must have been my most worn perfume for the summer of 2014. I fell in love with it instantly when I first tried it in a shop, bought it on the spot (it's so cheap, too, only 16 euros for the 30 ml bottle, so it really wasn't a hard decision), and have gone back to it again and again through summer. So it is very addictive; especially, I suspect, for fig lovers like myself. I have tried and loved many fig scents over the last couple of months, and this one stands out because it's so straightforward. This is a very sweet fig, I don't get any citrus or cedar and definitely not any cumin. It's all figs, bright and sweet but not very realistic. It's more like the sugared version of figs, or fig candy: there's none of that green milkiness that you get when sniffing actual fig leafs, and none of the slightly earthy smell of actual figs. But that's not a problem, because this fig candy is very, very nice in its own right. So I love this very much, but its straightforwardness might also be its biggest weakness: it doesn't change much throughout a wearing, and although that's not a bad thing because who would want such a lovely smell to change, it does make it easier to get tired of. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm beginning to be less delighted by it than I was at first. So I think I'll put this away for the colder seasons soon, so that I can fall back in love with it next spring...

Opens with a bright blast of yummy juicy fig and orange. The grapefruit and caraway is a little too sharp for my nose’s liking, but only for a few minutes or so. As it starts to settle into the heart, the fresh fig and green fig leafs are bright and vibrant and the caraway adds a lovely aromatic, very slightly soapy, hint to the accord. There’s still hints of orange, but some peach and nectarine there too amongst the fresh figs notes but the lovely green fig leaves stop it becoming too sweet. This is a gorgeous fruity freshie! In the dry down, there are lovely hints of woody, earthy, slightly honey fig pulp and musky fruitiness in the base. Delicious! There’s creaminess too... No.. not creamy... it’s milky! Not warm ambery cream, it’s green and fresh white milky sap from the fig tree. Beautiful! I luuurrrrvve Fleur De Figuier 💗💗 there is something very familiar in the scent that I haven’t yet placed my nose on. A wonderful fig tree scent. It has the fleshy fruit, complimented with sweet citrus, the musky fig pulp with a hit of honey, the earthy green leaves and the milky fig sap. A perfect Eau Fraîche, blended wonderfully to create a deliciously light and joyful scent that makes me want to dine alfresco on fresh Greek salads, soaking up the sun while sipping on a good Pino Grigio.

This was my first encounter with the brand after I saw this scent featured on a couple of “Parisian summer girl scent” lists. The fig as a note was gaining popularity, and the price was right for a blind buy. I was tired of bombastic niche perfumes and didn’t want to smell like a library or rubber tires. I fell in love with this scent from the first sniff. I’m not huge on very feminine scents, let alone florals, but this one is so elegantly balanced (thank you, Mr. Kurkdjian!). I don’t feel that it has any age either. It could work on a teenager as well as a mature woman on a summer holiday. It doesn’t last long and it doesn’t have a massive sillage, but I find that the charm of this scent lies in its transparency and fleeting nature. I suspect that an Eau de Parfum version would end up being too much, too sweet and possibly even headache-inducing. If you are exploring fig notes, this is a must-try. Don’t expect the green and lactic DNA of Philosykos by Diptyque. This one is more like a fig jam that’s been sitting on a garden table while you’re eating cheese and crackers with friends.

One of my all time faves. Fresh, fruity, effervescent, and a little green. A bit sweet, a bit tart. I don't get any of the caraway. For me this is all grapefruit, fig, and fig leaf. I understand that it's a body spray, but it wears like a toilette. Descent projection and longevity is a few hours if I pair with the lotion (which is also a delight). I can see how people feel this is a warm weather scent, but I also really enjoy it on a crisp fall night and in the dead of winter. It's uplifting and bright. I picked it up for the first time at a pharmacy in Montreal years ago, and now I make sure to pick up a bottle every time I go back because it's not easy to find here in the US. And if you like this, you'll also like Aqua Di Parma Fico di Amalfi, which is a bit easier to get in the states. ADP Fico is a bit more citrus leaning but it's certainly a similar vibe. Though interestingly, I get more longevity out of this Roger & Gallet spray.

After finishing a small bottle of Fleur de Figuier and considering to repurchase I deleted my previous review since I found it inaccurate. I love fig perfumes in summertime and this is one of my favourites. The other one is Philosykos for its crisp, bright and milky quality. Premier Figuier by L`Artisan was a bit ''dusty'' and Un Jardin En Mediterranee too green. Fleur de Figuier is the sweetest of them all. It's juicy and citrusy in the opening as well. The woody and green notes are just enough to ground it without overshadowing the mandarin/grapefruit and the fig that steal the show. Sillage and longevity aren't the greatest but still decent. For the price you can get the body lotion too which is lightweight, non sticky and strongly scented to layer. Overall it's a very well done vibrant, cheerful and sweet/juicy fig. If it was a color, well... it would be a whole rainbow.

I have 3 of the Fleur de Figuier fragrances - perfume, fragrant water and the Or limited edition. This one is my favorite! The perfume is classy, tamed and mature, while the fragrant water is vibrant, young and nuanced! But i must say - the perfume is the real fig fragrance here, this one i see more as a fruity one. The fig is juicy and mixed with the citruses into a whole, unusual and definitely not dominant. On my skin almost no green notes. Warm, juicy... a bit tart fruits. Smells pleasant and uplifting. Love the bath & body products just as much! Flirty, happy, sunny scent and i must agree with the rest - addictive! Great longevity for a fragrant water, especially in cold winter days.

Fleur de Figuier est mon interprétation favorite de la figue, avec Fico di Amalfi. Si vous n'êtes pas fans des agrumes, ni des odeurs fruitées, il vaut mieux passer votre chemin... C'est une figue très fraîche, ni trop sucrée, ni trop verte: idéale pour se rafraîchir en période de chaleur lourde. En tout cas, pas une figue verte. Sincèrement, pour le prix, cette eau fraîche vaut largement la peine, bien que la longévité et le sillage soient médiocres. Combinée au lait corporel, la tenue est nettement améliorée. C'est un parfum d'été idéal lorsque l'on a envie de se sentir fraîche!

Fleur de Figuier is all fig and fig leaf with a touch of citrus. During its short life, I don’t detect any other notes. I’m impressed with the Roger & Gallet offerings and am on a testing binge after having bought my first from the house: Feuille De Figuier. I wish this brand was easier to sample outside of Europe. If you’re expecting monster performance, this line is not going to work for you. For the most part their offerings work more like cologne with a 1-2 hour lifespan. Perfect for warm weather. Edit: Lucky me, bought a gently used bottle on the bay.

Ooooooh, ofcourse it is Francis Kurkdjian. This is not your average cheap found-in-a-pharmacie fruity perfume. No, no , no. I cannot stretch this enough. THIS IS GREAT. Fig done in a way where Diptyque's-Philosykos and Womanity meet, for a price that ranges from 16 to 33 euros. >>>Please note that the "Eau de parfum" version of this is a completely different scent, similar to the Si-La Vie est belle-Black opium-etc gourmands, which I passionately hate <3. >>>Fleur de figuier,"Fragrant Water spray" / "Eau Fraiche" is what you are looking for. Every now and then I sample something that is an immediate favorite. This is really special. Nectarine blossom isn't listed, but that's what I experienced on opening rather than citrus. The fig is delicious, juicy, and so well blended. I worry sometimes about cumin as a note - I'm sensitive to it - but this is really soft. Just enough to add contrast, like a sprinkle of salt on top of a chocolate chip cookie. I'm not a Kurkdjian stan, but when he gets it right he *really* nails it.

I really like vast majority of fragrances from Roger & Gallet, but this one is one of my top favorites. It's light and fresh in a natural way where the freshness comes from citrus and green notes (fig). Initially, was scared of the fig notes but it turned out to be a fantastic scent. No wonder the the perfumer behind it is Francis Kurkdijan. Perfect for a hot summer day. Inoffensive and likeable. Really well done. A good blind buy. Even my husband commented that he likes this one.

Truly beautiful figgy scent. It is not extremely photo-realistic fig, as it is a more floral interpretation of fig, as the name suggests. I grew up by the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, bordering Greece, and there were many many fig trees. It is not the exact same, a smell reminiscent of what wafts off from those trees in late summer. Reminds me of happy, carefree summer days. This is the fig, the leaf, the tree and imaginary floral notes. Love at first sniff.

This is a beautiful, juicy, and incredibly fresh scent. I have repurchased it multiple times because I frequently receive compliments when wearing it, and I’ve even gifted my own bottle to others. It is fascinating that Francis Kurkdjian, who composed this in 2013, essentially recreated this profile for Dioriviera—but at ten times the price. I highly recommend layering it with the matching shower gel and body lotion, as both are absolutely amazing.

(I'm) getting jaded in the search for the holy grail. When I sampled this at Andre's on Geary in SF it was 'wow !' His reaction was, 'nice when a person connects with a scent'. It is difficult to do a decent fruit fragrance. So it's refreshing when you get something so crisp and fresh. Hyper realistic Figs. A really fruity sweet fig fragrance. The smell is uplifting, happy if you like. A sweet and very very light version of Aqua di Parma Fico when it comes to longevity and sillage, And because it is even less than an eau de toilette, you can use it as a bodyspray to lift all your fig fragrances. On its own it is barely there, and that is a shame because I like it! On the other hand, for this price, I can spray A LOT! 😉

A personal favourite. It really smells like fig, and it's sweet and fresh in an inoccent way. Only problem is - it doesn't last long on me (probably 2 hours). Sillage is bad too - I have to almost pour an entire bottle to make it smeel like I'm wearing perfume, but my skin has problems retaining most perfumes so I hope this isn't a common problem. I am also looking forward to trying the EDP.

Thanks dear Steph for sharing a decant with me!! :) Mmmmmmm..... This smells wonderfully sweet & tropical. Many people find it to smell like sweet peaches. I can see where they're coming from. Yet this to me is much better than the smell of peaches. Simple, but yummy!! Moderate sillage and longevity on my skin. I can see myself purchasing a bottle of this in the future...

Truly gorgeous scent, its zesty fig, sweet and fresh. It isn’t a dupe of Liberty Fizz by Nina Ricci, but it’s in the same vein if that makes sense? A similar DNA, when your body warms the fragrance warms too and projects. It is lovely. It’s one of my favourites and a safe every day scent. Reapply every 4/5 hours as it starts to fade.

Just wow . It's like walking through Garden of Eden Tested this at the store today, here's one thing: It smells better on skin than on paper. Trust. I like this one. It's feminine leaning but I won't mind wearing it sometimes, it's just delicious fig and fruity slightly milky scent. I rarely like fig scents but this one is great!

One of my favorite summertime fragrances. It's sweet without being sickly and candy-coated. There's just enough woodsyness in the base notes to make it a nice blend of young and mature. It's just too bad that it doesn't have a good longevity. Lasts 2 hours, 3 at most.

So clean smell!! Travels your mind under the shadow of a tree,during a hot summer day..Have to mention that on a sample I got,the description of the notes were different: Green lemon,fig leaf,petit grain,neroli,cedar,galvanum.

Expected nothing special, but was extremely surprised: the smell is wonderful. I just can't stop sniffing it. It's not straightforward citrus-y, the fig note is very bright and delightful.

Due to unpleasant past experiences, I'm a bit wary of fig-centered frags: either gooey (many of them) or mealy (in the vein of Thierry Mugler's Womanity). Fig trees radiate an out-of-this-world bouquet nearly impossible to compete with. Moreover, gorging myself with their fruits a few times a year complete my expertise on that matter mega lol Well, I guess my perfumery expectations may be somehow unrealistic. Longevity is very short-lived. But it smells so bright and lovely it brings a smile on my face, so re-spraying is a pleasure. This is not your real life milky fig or effervescent fig leaf. Nevertheless, this EDT is brilliant in its own right. It’s fresh, yet not quite green, with a happy balance of tartness and sweetness. The grapefruit is amazing. Its tartness is nearly tongue tingling but not screechy. The fig is slightly candied - not caramely - with a brisk juiciness, courtesy to citrus. Woods are discreet, even warmed against my skin. A guy could wear it, in my opinion. However, the body lotion is decidedly fruity and feminine. I love it so much it's been part of my spring wardrobe for years. Une réussite! @xionoula I peeped into Roger & Gallet French website and the notes listed for Fleur de Figuier (Fig Flower) match Fragrantica's. I believe you've been referring to the latest release Feuille de Figuier (Fig Leaf)? Btw, I'm curious about that one, it seems to smell fantastic on paper

- Really smells like fresh fruit. I'm not sure if I had fig before, but the scent profile feels realistic - There is something heady and relaxing about this that it makes me close my eyes and inhale deeply (this is Joseph Zeng's fault lol, also the reason why I bought 2 R&G scents at a time, but I'm definitely feeling that way as well as he did in his ads whenever I smell this) - Though because it smells quite sweet and heady it almost feels like threatening to be cloying, but surprisingly it's not going there & 1hr in I'm still not getting a headache - 0.5 hr: Very good projection - 1hr: have to be very close to get a whiff, but scent profile is still unchanging and strong - I bought Tuberose Hedonie along with this, and though I'm biased towards Tuberose as a note, I'm kinda loving this one more. I'm not sure if I got the cumin or the caraway version (I bought this at a discount shop and the smaller 30ml almost clear bottle --- man, I would have loved the bigger one with the OG embossed white seal! Because the current bottles look plastic cheap), but I'm definitely not getting that kind of after-toilet vibe that I'm sadly getting in the first few minutes of TH. This one is pretty linear, fig from start to finish at the end of its quite sadly short 1-2 hours life, but if I see a discounted bigger bottle with the OG design I'll be very tempted to get it! Also, it's a Kurkdjian, so why not.

I love a fig note in perfume, and Fleur de Figuier is the first fig scent I really got to know. I don't tend to choose perfumes from soap brands such as Roger & Gallet, but I received a few products and samples as a gift, and fell in love with this figgy beauty. It evokes personal memories for me - of a year spent in Barcelona. Smelling it will always take me back to that time. I since bought a full bottle of eau fraîche, as the EDP wasn't available at the time. Unsurprisingly, it is a lighter, more straightforward fig scent. FF eau fraîche opens with radiant figgy notes, warm and luscious while they last. Some green is provided by the fig leaf, and there is a hint of citrusy freshness in the background. It is fleetingly rich, but fades fast. Woody notes creep in as it dries down, and soft, clean musk emerges as it fades to a woody-fig skin scent. Sillage and longevity are both moderate - it lasts for several hours on my skin. The eau fraîche is lighter and fresher than the EDP. The EDP is earthier, thanks to the cloud of patchouli, and the fig is more jam-like, less fresh than in the eau fraîche. It lasts a little longer and projects more, as is expected. Both are lovely, but the eau fraîche encapsulates the memories more for me. Otherwise, FF is a really nice, fresh, feminine-leaning fig scent. 3.5/5.

I confess I bought this online without smelling it first because I couldn't afford to replace my precious bottle of Diptyque Philosykos, and I thought this might be an affordable figgy substitute. It is nothing like Philosykos AT ALL, but it's appealing in a different way. It's not woody or complicated but very sweet. It reminds me a bit of Prada's Candy - not a literal match, but similarly sugary and fruity, like a fig Jolly Rancher candy, if they existed. It doesn't last long and the sillage is low, which isn't a bad thing, as the sweetness could be annoying (for the wearer and anyone around them) if it were stronger. It's not something I'd want to wear every day, but I find myself reaching for it when I'm in the mood for something fun, friendly, happy and simple.

This fragrance opens exactly like slicing into a bright, juicy mandarin, vivid, fresh, and mouthwatering, before quickly transitioning into the rich sweetness of a newly opened jar of St. Dalfour Fig Royale jam. The citrusy sparkle at the start is beautiful but fleeting, giving way to an intensely jammy, almost syrupy fig that dominates the composition. While I find it incredibly interesting and well executed, the sweetness can lean slightly cloying and overwhelming on my skin, which surprised me as I usually gravitate toward sweet gourmands and dense musks. Still, there is something very compelling about it. I am curious to revisit it and experiment with layering, as it feels like a fragrance with a lot of untapped potential.

after reviewing some ouds i am smelling this and wow it brought me back to life from the underworld mysterious dark side of oud this is as bright as fruity and florally as young crisp beautiful happy as any perfume can be ...fresh French simply alive...a beautiful connotation of so many beautiful mesmerising accords of waxy candel like mixed berries and that distinctive satsuma oil from body shop aroma ok its not the most expensive smelling perfume but its certainly one of the brightest florally sweet bouquets of flowers and friutes and candles..a bit on the synthetic side though.. oh this who love fig will like this i love mandarin grapefruit which made it initially just tantalising .. very light in an opulent way..

Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier is probably one of the sweetest fig fragrances that I have tried. It's mostly fruity, while the milky and green earthy aspects of fig/fig leaf are quite subtle, just enough to conjure up the image of fig along with the fruitiness. As the fragrance progresses, white musk becomes more noticeable. Combined with the fruity sweetness, it smells more like fig jelly/candy than a realistic fig. The sillage is moderate to soft, and the longevity is around 7 hours. Although Fleur de Figuier might not be the most realistic fig and might a bit too sweet for some, it's not overly synthetic, either, especially for the price. A simple and cheerful fruity floral for a casual day.

Got a small bottle of this with a shower cream for valentine ́s day. I must say it is a really nice perfume. I get sweet, juicy and very naturally smelling figs, a touch of mandarin and a very shy cedar (the cedar is way stronger in the shower cream). I get absolutely no grapefruit, and i am ok with it, because i am not a fan of grapefruit. Overall, it smells clean and very sensual. it would suit a strong, feminine woman or a nature loving guy. For me it is quite unisex. Sillage is good: it sits close to the skin, but i don ́t have to sniff my wrists to smell it. Longevity is ok too, no complaints. Try this if you like fruity woody fragrances or elegant green perfumes. Note:7/10

Very lovely fragrance! I live in a country where we have many fig trees and I can tell you that fig flowers (that's what "Fleur de Figuier" means) don't have any particular smell. I guess the frag is a creative interpretation of how a fig flower would smell like. It doesn't even smell like a fig to me, either. Fig is greener and somehow "milkier". Anyhow, I can tell this is a very juicy, sweet and delicious nectarine! Yes, nectarine! I also believe it's one of the best fragrances of this brand. Very good longevity and sillage for an EDC that is. Really great for late spring and summer, up until September! Yummy!!!

It was a blind buy in a random pharmacy somewhere in France. I usually hate it when the fruitiness in a fragrance dances waaaay too much around sweetness and acidity. But I just cannot make myself hate this. It's fun, sweet, perky, refreshing and yet has a touch of gentle charm of musky florals to it. The grapefruit and the musk gives it a very tropical vibe. It has become one of my favorite "happy" scents in my stash. It would be nice if it had a longer staying power. It's better off sprayed on clothes and hair for better longevity and projection.

As a big fan of fig fragrances, I've tested many and I can safely say this is the best value for money. None of the fig fragrances really last in my opinion. This one is super real, earthy, fresh, not too sweet, no nasty notes. Don't get much of the cumin note which can be a tricky one. The body shop one is terrible in my opinion, smells like plastic. Dyptique and Artisan are good too but pricier and sweeter. This one hits the spot for me the most.

Fresh jammy - raspberry - plummy fig, but not heavy, happy fruity, delicious mouthwatering like a fruit jam or fruity shampoo, if you are looking for a feel good sweet fruity natural scent get this - yes it needs re-spraying every couple of hours but it is a fragrance water, don't mistake this the new perfume version as that is heavy and has patchouli and woody notes, this is pure and natural summer fruity yumminess

I don't like figs especially, but I love this fragrance. I bought a 100ml bottle to wear to work during the spring and summer months and got through it very quickly. I have to be quite heavy handed with how much I apply because a couple of squirts fades very quickly, but if enough is applied it has excellent lasting power. A beautifully sophisticated fresh fruity floral with summery feel good power.

I love the green fig with the grapefruit! I prefer this to the Artisan Premier Figuier Extreme (the only other fig I've tried, but I've yet to try them both on skin side by side) because this is less sweet and coconutty. Personal preference. Saving this for summer. And yes to reiterate: the notes here are wrong. From their website: mandarine, pamplemousse, carvi, muscs et patchouli.

Fresh and fruity. Got this for my boyfriend when I was in Switzerland as he likes fruity scents. Smells great! Good as a sweet but not cloying fragrance and is very good for the price. Unrelated to the fragrance itself but... Today however I noted on his clavicle it smelled like Secretions Magnifiques... which was interesting. On his wrist it was fine. Just thought it was funny.

Love. This perfume is incredibly sweet. Smells like sugary fig juice. I love sweet scents, and I find this one quite original since I don't walk into people smelling of figs very often. In spite of the tooth- aching sweetness I don't get tired of it, it reminds me of summer. Good price too.

I have a 1.5ml tester of this so have only used it a handful of times. The longevity is poor and so is the sillage however the smell is divine. I love the sweet floral fig scent that this has. I just hope the edp has better lasting power!

I kid you not, this smells EXACTLY as those purple vaselines that were popular early 2000s. I liked it, though. Very fresh, you can clearly smell the fig. Lovely fragrance!
