Néroli Facètie

One underrated gem. If you like neroli, this is a must try. Pellegrin here did a superb job, because inventing something new or at least different on the so much used theme of a neroli / citrus fresh summery cologne... well... it's not that easy! Neroli Facetie evokes summer in a Mediterranean environment. A summer in contact with nature, you are gazing towards the sea, you can smell from the distance the salty aerosol, in an orchard where orange trees are in full blossom, where you also can smell the greenery of Mediterranean herbs (a tad of lavender, some rosemary and thyme), that here are very subdued in the background. You could say 'I've smelled this a thousand times ', and you're right because there are similarities with the various classic Italian colognes like AdP Colonia or with 4711 but Neroli Facetie is much more playful: it has a gorgeous salty note that is hard to find in the others, and has a super creamy cedar base that grounds it, making it less fleeting than the average neroli based composition. The drydown has also a vanillic, warm feel. This is an Extrait de Cologne, so I can consider it like a strong edt. I get 5-6 hours wear -spraying generously- and much more if you layer it: try it in Autumn /winter with a vanilla based frag like Dior Addict: wow. Longevity is stellar: 24h on clothes is unheard for a neroli based frag. A strong like - one of the best offerings in this line - and recommend you get it before they discontinue it, they always do with the stuff I like.

Like a bright early summer morning breeze on Mediterranean coast. You can almost see the sea, the sky and feel the breeze. Simple, sunny and happy. Uplifting and relaxing. The drydown is sometimes slightly animalic like in big white florals. Narcotic in the best way possible. One of my absolute favorites. Lucky for me, longevity is great, on tissues lasts for weeks and sillage is huge. Fills the room if you are not careful. All Extraits from Roger & Gallet are of outstanding quality. I'm looking forward trying the new Magnolia and Rose. PS: It got kidnapped by a friend if mine, she became quite obsessed with it. It's cold dark and damp outside. I think she needs it more than I do. I plan buying myself even bigger bottle very soon. Magnolia and Rose are both very simple and nice, but not as captivating or narcotic as this one. PSS: It sparkles.

There is no page for the new Néroli and since it's not all that different from this one and that's fine. It's just a bit diluted. There are far greater perfume tragedies. I can live with that. Today I tried solid perfume. Cute packaging, practical for those bags we carry around every day. It reminds me of lemon sorbet. Delicious, it even looks like one. It gets more flowery with time, neroli and orange blossom, but still very lemony. We'll see about longevity. I would not recommend going to the beach with it. Or anywhere under sun, scorching summer heath would melt it like butter and make quite a mess it your bag. Five months later...I'm glad to report that solid perfume lives happily in my handbag. It also survived summer without creating a mess. I'm constantly surprised by a great quality of R&G products.

Received this on the same day I also got Panheligon’s Orange Blossom as well as Castile, and was delighted to love this one the most, for less than half the price of the others. To me, this smells much fresher and more natural than panheligons, which both seem much more synthetic. This is lighter on the citrus, but a lovely fluffy (almost mimosa-y, I think it’s the Angelica?) fresh white/green flower. So beautiful! (For context, my other favorite orange blossoms are Jo Malone and Van Cleef’s Neroli Amara- this is richer and creamier than either of those, but much stronger, and similar in natural-smelling loveliness).

Néroli Facètie, along with Cassis Frenesie are totally worth your money if you want an edc with medium longevity and medium sillage. Both tested in heat and performed great for edc. I sense a very delightful neroli and petitgrain, of the best quality. To be honest it is quite pungent and projects well. There is fruit to back it up but it doesn't outshine the neroli and the orangeblossom is not too sweet. The petitgrain is also very felt in here. Leafy, which is rare for the newer creations. Roger and Gallet did a great job with Neroli

This smells just like the blooming lemon and bitter orange trees we have all around Athens :) with some woods in the back that deepen it. Smells forever on clothes and a good 8 hours on skin. I wear it all year round when I need a mood booster! So sad they have reformulated the line and changed the beautiful vintage like bottle design. In my opinion the new ones smell flatter.

Wow. An unexpected strong perfume. It really gets you noticed. It might be a little too strong for work but wonderful for a hike or summer/spring outing :) I personally LOVE it. It is intensely floral with mild citrus notes on me. It has much better performance than Jo Malone Orange Blossom at a fraction of its price. Highly recommend but use with caution ;)

Great dupe for Penhaligon's Orange Blossom, but a fraction of the price. Really lovely, natural orange blossom scent. Super sunny and summery, and reminds me of being in Morocco.

This is an aromatherapy piece. Very natural (and I believe the new composition is 90% natural ingredients). I got this from the pharmacy for a very decent price. It's exactly what I needed. I'm going through a sad and confusing phase in my life that is hard to navigate and I needed something to lift my spirit, uplift my mood and give me a smile when I need it the most. That's exactly what this felt like when I first smelled it. A long exhale. I closed my eyes and I got transported to the Mediterranean countryside, somewhere very close to the sea, orange blossoms in full bloom all around me, the sun, the greenery, the salty air and the scent of honeyed white florals coming to me with the breeze. Stunning, soft and natural. It awakens the senses and relaxes you, makes you smile. Decent performance and projection. I'm very happy.

So sad the formula of my signature perfume has been changed. I cannot find it in the shops anymore. The new formula is called "Neroli" and not "Neroli Facetie extrait de cologne" . It is a flat pleasant neroli perfume with no character and duration... I just ordered the original from internet.

Overwhelmingly floral, I don't get much citrus from it. I do like it, but I'm finding the bottle hard to finish since the scent being so powerful and lingering in a room has made me a bit sick of it (when my sister uses it - she sprays generously) Apply sparingly and enjoy

Beautiful sunny fresh perfume but with a warm feeling ! Maybe it's the woods! Necessary at days you need positive thoughts and a lifted spirit ! This is what neroli and orange blossoms do! The drydown has a shampoo smell... freshly washed hair..

Very gentle, summery, refreshing neroli + orange blossom scent. These notes dominate the composition on my skin. Good projection and decent lasting power. Very pleasant. The intensity of the scent is fit for a hot weather.

It smells nice. An oily, full bodied neroli, but sillage is terrible. I can barely smell it on my arm. It is a shame, because it smells really good. P.S: A man can wear it without problems.

This is for the newer version, I sampled a few sprays in Metropolitan Market in Seattle. It’s like a body spray, fresh and perfect for a very unusual, warm October day of 70 degrees.

This smells really clean and soft, I think this will make a nice clean room spray. Not sure I’d wear it on my skin though, need to test it a bit more first

Sunscreen just about sums this fragrance up. That’s all I get it sunscreen. Will be good for a day at the beach

I originally bought this fragrance hoping for a budget-friendly alternative to Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. Unfortunately, on my skin, the chemistry turned a bit sharp and slightly stale. Perfume is highly subjective, and this juice might smell absolutely amazing on someone else, but my skin chemistry just did not cooperate with it.Thankfully, the bottle did not go to waste! My wife repurposed it as a linen spray, and it works wonderfully to refresh our drawers and closets. It turns out it makes a fantastic home fragrance, even if it wasn't a match for my skin.

I really wanted to like it, but there is a soapy smell that I just cannot take. Usually, I like soapy scents but there is something in here that doesn't go well with my skin - it turns artificial and overwhelming straight away. Someone mentioned it gives them a headache and I have to, unfortunately, agree. I gave my bottle away. I do not recommend to blind buy this - test it first.

It seems that they have renamed this as "Neroli", although I'm not sure if this is the same scent because I have not smelled the original. The neroli is accompanied by cedar, salty notes and calone, giving it a beach-like feel. When I opened the bottle it smelled very salty but now it seems to have morphed a little and the neroli has emerged more. I would say this is very good, considering the affordable price.

I got this beauty as a gift (older version from 2020). It is my substitute for Le Labo d'Oranger for now. This is the same creator who made Do Son, L'eau Papier and Pachouli Mania. No kidding, i should try all his creations but the list is too long. I'm just happy that i can soak in this juice for 1/10 the cost of other Neroli scents.

A review about the new one which is called Neroli. Orange blossom happens to be one of my most favorite notes, and this one is the type of perfumes that i adore. A freshie, Clean, citrusy lightly sweetened. It is long lasting on me considering it to be a fragrance water. A must have if you like orange blossom.

Happy sunny summer mornings bottled. Lots of white flowers, all well blended together, does not go indolic on me and hasn't caused me any headaches as some white floral frags will do. Really pleasant and linear, lasts about 4-5 hours with lots of sillage for the first hour.

Sweet and a bit woody at the same time, better in spring or cool summer weather and not in the heat. It ended up being a bit too sweet for me, so I have a small and almost unused bottle for sale for a good price in Brussels or Belgium.

don’t really have anything to say about this fragrance it’s to complicated but if u want an exact dupe buy verissime bright i bought in a supermarket in tenerife ITS EXACTLY THE SAME

Smells strong and good, but gives me a headache. It reminds of a shampoo scent and lasts all day.
