Rose Imaginaire

I absolutely LOVE this perfume - it has everything I want in a fragrance. Its sweet(ish), slightly fruity (I'm not always a lover of fruity - not a fan of Escada for example) with an earthiness that makes it interesting. I get fresh strawberry at first spray that then sweetens & settles into a peony/rose bud floral which stretches into an earthy violet trail - just perfect! I also have Roger & Gallet's Vanille which is also lovely but I can't wear it on a very hot day unlike this. When deciding between Rose Imaginaire & Fleur d'Osmanthus I sprayed both & walked around for the rest of the day until deciding on the Rose, but it was a pretty close choice. I gave my sis Fleur d'Figuer for her birthday & it went down extremely well - therefore I can only conclude that R&G have some very easy to wear, beautifully blended & affordable perfumes out there. Go & try some!

Beautiful light fragrance. Won as a prize and planned on selling when saw name Rose. Not at all ROSE smell nor fruity either, a bit powdery when settles down, lovely everyday perfume. Will def repurchase.

chi ha avuto la possibilità di sniffare il jo malone osmanthus blossom si accorgerà che questo lo ricorda moltissimo, con la sua delicatezza floreale e fruttata. qui la rosa è per me realmente immaginaria perchè io non la sento proprio. piuttosto, ben distinguibile rintraccio la violetta accoppiata al gelsomino, un sentore di fragola appena accennato, e un assestamento tra il polveroso e il legnoso. leggero, fresco, timido, buono, ma non è per me.

I like it but the lasting power is so poor that it's "imaginaire" in its most literal meaning. I sprayed it, smell it and after less than an hour I could only imagine how it was. Maybe it's because of my skin or my love for much stronger scents... I'd suggest it for a very young girl who starts to play around with fragrances.

Fresh and delicate but I'm disappointed : strawberry and violet are not very noticeable and I can smell rose notes as plumblossom. It's too citrusy at the beginning. Poor lasting power.

This smell always reminds me of something else just cannt figure out what. Today I suddenly realised its Jo Malone osmanthus blossom. Seriously.

very pleasant, fresh,light and delicate. I'm surprised because it smells rose and peony and these notes are not listed.

I can't believe this doesn't have rose in it! Very clever perfume, it does smell of roses, in a more fruity way. Roger Gallet never has the best staying power, but the scents are elegant and old school, never, ever vulgar. It reminds me of Balenciaga Florabotanica, without the mint note. I prefer Florabotanica, but this is a good everyday fragrance as well.

Thought It smelled better while I was testing it at the store. I got it. I am slightly disappointed since it is too light and slightly more generic than I originally hoped for. Still it is a good and femminine scent that I will gladly wear. +I love the bottle. All the Roger & Gallet packagings actually.

This is a very dewy white rose...Elegant, not just floral thanks to sober woody background and delicately fresh-somewhat fruity. Unfortunately -just like dew soon disappears. Great in a workplace: revitalizing, not invasive.
