Rose Mignonnerie

Simple, elegant, yet with a strong character. I adore this fragrance :) Rose Mignonnerie (rose cuteness) is blended exceptionally well. The combination of rose and cedar, to me, is a bit unusual, but I like it very much, as I am SO over the rose/oud/patchouli combo. The cedar gives a clean/soapy, and somewhat classy vide to the otherwise voluptuous and beguiling Turkish rose. The mandarin note is present but does not overtake the center stage. Instead, it adds a fresh, approachable and sweet touch to the composition. Well done Monsieur Guichard!

With the addition of orange, this rose has a fizzy quality. It’s very pretty. This could be a rose lover’s favorite body spray, but it’s a little too generic for me. Light performance all around. As usual for this line, nothing smells synthetic. My next purchase from Roger & Gallet is going to be another rose centric perfume, Cassis Frénésie.

Very beautiful, breezy and gentle juicy rose with just a perfect amount of creamy notes to make you feel freshly bathed. Beautiful if you like rose in perfumes. This one is rose + orange with pink pepper backgroung and some herbal notes, and yes, the finish is woodsy.

Light, simple, fresh, rose. Natural and pure. Slight cedar in the base but overall it's just like sticking your face in a fully blooming rose bush in the middle of summer. Sweet and romantic. Nothing out of the ordinary but very well done.

Simple fresh functional rose. Nothing groundbreaking or earthshattering, just well done little rose. Sometimes that is all you need.

If your a dreamy victorian princessy woman that sits in front of her vanity with her silver vanity set then THIS IS YOU! For me, this might be a love if it wasn't for the rose. I sometimes love rose...but not this time. It's a bit of an old fashioned rose that would be perfect if that is what you crave...I do not. It's a lovely perfume if your a rose lover!I might only "love" this once or twice in several years. So this isn't something I would purchase. Absolutely lovely perfume for SOME rose lovers!
